It was full of flavor and wagyu was tender. Great item. Tonnato was also good. Very solid item. I did not have stacciatella. Tapenade was sour side, with strong olive and roasted pepper flavors stand out. Vongole(savory clams, fermented Taragu mares chilli white wine and parsley, squid ink linguine) Highlight! Clam and Vongole sauce were very delicious! Squid ink linguine was also good. It was good to have sauce with bread. Bistecca(Babette steak, Amaro jus, garlic scapes, frisee and hazelnuts) This item was also very delicious. Medium rare steak was tender(a bit chewy) the garlic scapes, hazelnut and frisée combination was excellent. i really enjoyed having together with meat. Overall, I really liked this restaurant. We started with the hummus as an appetizer, which was creamy and flavorful. I also ordered a drink from their 1001 Nights menu, and the presentation was so cute--it actually came in the form of a little storybook, which was such a fun and unique touch! For our main dishes, we ordered the salmon skewers and kofta skewers. Everything was incredibly flavorful, well-seasoned, and cooked nicely. The flavors really stood out and made the meal memorable. The service was initially great, and our waiter was very kind and attentive. However as time went on sadly we felt like we had gotten forgotten and we had to remind another waiter to bring our food. They also brought me the wrong dish although I had ordered the salmon skewers so we had to wait for that a bit. The main food sadly was not as flavorful as the appetizer and the drink although the presentation was good. However the manager was kind and apologized and brought us a complimentary Dubai dessert which again had a great presentation but was too sweet for my taste. I will still give this a place a shot in the future.

The wine list is extensive and a bit overwhelming, but the service is happy, friendly, and very knowledgeable. In fact, I love when servers don't know, admit it, and find the answer for you - it's humble and shows they really care at getting you what you want. We got the orange wine, which is a new favorite of mine. It's like a rose for reds. Rose:White::Orange:Red. More savory, still light, and best chilled. We had the beet hummus app, which is definitely best eaten with your hands. It's light and delicious. We had the miso black cod, a personal favorite, and the lasagna for dinner and while both were good, the accoutrements with the cod were the true standout. Amazing and I could probably eat two of them. As the restaurant operates on a seasonal menu, we had a strawberry rhubarb cobbler for dessert. I know there is Sunday Brunch, and I can't wait to try it. It's not the cheapest, but it's one of the nicer restaurants in Whatcom, and is definitely worth your pennies. You won't find the lesser known tapas here - just the main popular ones we all know. Food Presentation: Simple, nothing crazy here. Plated with intention. Food Taste and Quality: Food came to the table hot and fresh out of the kitchen. Some of the patatas bravas were a bit undercooked - for me there was a bit too much sauce here. They also have the shishito peppers here - even though 1 out of 10 are spicy, it was more like 5 out of 10 were spicy. Luckily they were all grilled to perfection.
