I've gotten the Tori OG with chicken chashu twice and it was really good both times! My boyfriend had the Tori Kick the first time and then the Tori Matcha Madness this time and those were both good as well. The chicken chashu has always been VERY flavorful and not dry. The broth is so flavorful as well and has depth. I feel a lot of broths I've had lacked richness. I also feel like the toppings on the ramen are perfect; a ramen egg, kikurage mushroom, green onion, and the meat! The service has always been very friendly and I've never had a bad experience with any of the employees. The place itself is kept clean and I notice the workers cleaning off tables and other things as soon as they can. The restrooms are also very clean (big plus for me). I feel like this is easily becoming one of my go to places for ramen!

The Fire Ramen had a nice kick without overpowering the other flavors. The only downsides were that our food took a little longer than expected to come out, and the dining room could have been cooler since it felt a bit warm inside. That said, the quality of the food made it worth the wait. We'd definitely come back for the ramen!

But my experience yesterday around 6:30 p.m. was completely different because of one employee. When I went to pay, I tried using cash. Instead of simply telling me they don't accept cash, she made this dramatic face, pointed at the "No Cash" sign, and said it in such a rude, condescending tone. I was like, "Okay," and paid with my card. From that point on, her attitude was just awful. Every time she spoke it was like she couldn't be bothered to do her job. She had a nasty attitude the entire interaction. Then when my name was called, I walked over to pick up my food like I always do. Every other time I've come here, I've grabbed my utensils, napkins, bags, or an extra plastic bowl myself without any issue. This time, as I reached for some napkins, she literally yelled, "No, no, no! I'll grab it for you! What are you touching? What do you need?" I told her I was just grabbing napkins, and then she said, "I don't know why the cooks plated it like this. I'll just bring it to you." I was honestly so confused. Why was she so rude? There isn't any sign saying customers can't grab utensils or napkins from the pickup area, and I've never been treated like that before. I live nearby and come here often, so this really stood out. The food was still great, but that employee's attitude completely ruined what is normally a great experience. I hope management addresses it because everyone else I've interacted with here has always been friendly and professional. Besides the sloppy host.

Hopefully these recent yelp reviews that I've been seeing by other people get to management and things change.

We shared the philly roll so we think the salmon was bad. We also got separate ramen bowls. The miso ramen broth had a good flavor but the drunken ramen was pretty bland besides a straight basil and ginger flavor. The pork was very firm and difficult to chew in both of our meals. The egg was closer to hard boiled than soft boiled. The noodles were cooked well. The thai tea was decent. It was extremely sweet and diluted and didn't have that strong flavor most thai tea has. Service-wise, the waitress was friendly but she disappeared from the floor after giving us our food for about 30 minutes and never checked in with us or was available when we were ready to leave.

I visited on a Saturday in…read morethe late afternoon, and surprisingly, there was no one else in the restaurant when we arrived. There was only one staff member present, and unfortunately, the experience did not start with a warm welcome. She simply handed the menu to me and told me to sit wherever I wanted, rather than greeting us properly and showing us to a table or placing the menu on the table. While this may seem like a small detail, first impressions matter and unfortunately, this initial interaction set the tone for the rest of the experience. We chose 'Build your own Ramen' where every item is itemized and priced. I had the Tonkotsu broth with Pork Chashu which - 4/10; some part of noodles still clumpy, broth is decent and not that great, chashu piece is the only good thing, comes in thick chunky cut. While my husband got Kazi which is the dry noodles - 5/10, taste is quite garlicky however it's quite spicy for 'just right' spicy level. One thing I noticed during my visit was that the waitress appeared somewhat disengaged from her work. She had a TV show playing nearby and seemed to spend a noticeable amount of time watching it rather than attending to customers. Unfortunately, the overall level of attentiveness and hospitality did not meet my expectations. The atmosphere initially seemed appealing, with the painted wall décor giving the space a cool and distinctive look. However, the music coming through the speakers was not particularly enjoyable, as the sound system seemed disproportionate to the size of the room.

The toppings bar was also really solid with a lot of options, and everything looked fresh and well stocked. I liked that you could customize your bowl however you wanted and still have everything pair well together. One thing I really liked is that they actually pack the containers full, so it genuinely feels worth the money. I even got a small bowl once, and it was still loaded with fish, toppings, and everything else. The inside is clean, spacious, and has plenty of seating, so it's a nice spot to sit down and enjoy your food instead of feeling cramped.
