Make sure she know who pays her. Also don't allow her to drink during the reception and ask her to dress appropriately.

The space is huge, staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the vodka flavors were unbelievably good. We had the opportunity to check out their newest, chocolate espresso which I predict will be a major hit. I originally thought it was just the front area with some double seating, oh no, there was a whole inside area wide open! So great!! There was also outside seating with yard games as well! They also had a van that converted into a photobooth so you can take pictures and send them to yourself for free, amazing! They had games where you can occupy some time with friends while drinking some cocktails. There's a merch shop out in front if you are fancing grabbing some shirts or any sort of thing! Loved their drinks - had their Espresso Martini and was definitely a fan of their Spicy Ranch Water! Service was also great, can't complain about that! The food did take a little longer for it to be ready which was a little annoying since I only ordered their queso with chips and their pork belly tips. Parking: seemed pretty easy from when we first got there, but I can assume it can be a little hard once it's busier.

Because of the holiday, the place wasn't that crowded.  Lots of folks going in and out of doors, so there were quite a few flies inside. We were seated immediately and given our card to post when we were ready to order. As noted in other yelp reviews, there wasn't a real clear explanation given about the posting of the "we're ready to order card," but we figured out that it goes in the small metal holder on top of the paper towel stand on the table.  Cudos for the perforated paper towels, we've been to other similar restaurants where the paper towels are not perforated, making it very difficult to tear off a sheet or two. We stopped two different servers to ask questions about several items on the menu before we ordered, both were generally unaware of how food was being prepared and put together in the kitchen.  What is sofrito rice?  "Uh, it's red rice, I don't know what's in it."  What are myacoba refried beans?  "Uh, beans that are mashed up."  You get the picture... Ultimately, we were able to order food and a flight of beers.  We ordered the brisket tacos and the flauta basket (electing to have 4 of the chicken flautas).  The food was excellent, ingredients very fresh, flavor profiles well developed, a little bit of heat in everything.  The brisket tacos were probably some of the best we've ever had!  The flautas were just downright decadent.  Rolled tortillas, deep fried, topped with charred jalapeno avocado salsa, pico de gallo, crema and cotija cheese.  Delicious! For our beer flight, we sampled each of the wild craft beers (ingredients foraged from the property and put in the beer) and the red pale ale.  I must say the wild craft beers were different, we liked the nope ale the best, it was almost like a rose wine.  The red pale ale was very good. Bottom Line:  service, average;  food, excellent;  beer, just OK.  We did not have a "gotta go back there" experience at Beerburg Brewing.

Great outdoor play area for kiddos, but also quite a few kids inside. Very large venue overall. Cool hangout areas outside for adults, too. Beer was decent. I wanted a nice dark, rich stout or porter since cold weather was arriving, but alas, no such luck. That was disappointing. Whatever brown ale we got instead was decent. Munchies were good. We got chips with salsa, guac, and queso. YUM. I'd stop here again but only after confirming ahead of time that they had the genre of beer I was craving - since, you know, it's a brewery and I'm going for the beer. =)

It's a very spacious indoor and outdoor restaurant with lots of seating and places to explore. As we walked in I noticed that it's very bright with a lot of windows. You order at the counter. When we walked up to the counter the menu was on the bar top. We looked at the menu and placed our order with the man working behind the counter. He was really cool and answered our questions. After ordering he gave us a number and told us to seat ourselves. After figuring out where we wanted to sit we went to the water station and grabbed some water. We looked around inside at the decor and talked while we waited for our order. We started with two sharables and each ordered the burgers of our choice. Unfortunately when they started bringing out our food they made an error in how it was made. We told them, the took the wrong order back, and after awhile they brought us everything and apologized for the error. Our sharables were the Grilled Chimichurri Avacado which comes with a half avocado, corn, and tortilla chips, and the Hummus Board which comes with hummus, veggies, and pitas. Both of these sharables were tasty in different ways. The Grilled Chimichurri Avacado was delicious. You could taste all of the delicious flavors and the tortilla chips were strong enough to hold a mix of the ingredients. The Hummus Board was also very tasty. The Hummus was garlic flavored and the veggies were fresh and crisp. The pitas were warm and soft. For my main dish I ordered the Driftwood Cheeseburger. It comes with a beef patty, bacon jam, onions, pickles, sauce, and cheese. I opted for no cheese. The burger meat was really good. You could taste the Smokey flavor from the grill on the meat. The bacon jam was sweet but not overly sweet and gave the burger a sweet and savory flavor. The pickles added texture to the burger. It was a really good burger. I ordered my burger with a side of kettle chips which were nice and crispy. Overall it was a great place to visit. The service was good, the atmosphere was spacious, nice and bright, and the food was fresh and delicious.

Every visit has been incredible, from the food and service to the beautiful setting that somehow feels both laid-back and elevated at the same time. The property is massive, with indoor and outdoor seating that gives you all the elevated Hill Country vibes. You can walk around and see their chicken coop and bee hives, which they actually use for ingredients in their food and beer (how cool is that?!). Everything here ties back to their focus on regenerative farming and sustainability, and it truly shows in every bite and sip. Even the meat they use is raised up the street from them and has fed off the grains from their beer! They serve up not just great beer -- which has won awards -- but also wine, cider and NA options, making it a great spot for everyone. It's also super kid-friendly, with a kid scape area that keeps the little ones entertained while you enjoy a drink or meal. Speaking of meals... the food is next level! We've tried several dishes, and everything has been phenomenal. The fish and chips were some of the best we've had anywhere -- perfectly flaky with a thick, crunchy batter. The Wagyu burger was out of this world -- juicy, smoky, and cooked over a live fire. Everything down to the pickled veggies and sauces is made from scratch, and you can taste that attention to detail. They often have live music, daily specials, and friendly staff who always go out of their way to make sure you're taken care of. Everyone we've encountered has been welcoming, knowledgeable, and clearly proud to be part of such a thoughtful, local operation. Vista Brewing is the kind of place that perfectly balances craft, community, and cuisine -- and it's 100% worth the drive every single time!

For most pasta dishes, I'd hit Mandola's in Austin. Save about $10 an entree and some gas money. A few weeks ago I didn't want to venture too far off the ranch. Lisina is also a little skimpy on offering bread refills. We finished with drinks and the panna cotta. Just over $100 for this experience. WELL, the next day I needed to take mom out for her anniversary. Dad has long passed but I always try to do something special. Sunday highlights forthcoming. This time with mom and Rooster along we started with the carpaccio. The presentation really wowed because it looks like red plate until you realize all that color is shaved tenderloin. White plate underneath! The greens, parmesan, and aioli was one of the best I've had. Mom went for the gnocchi; Rooster goes for the Mezzaluna ravioli. This is now Rooster's fave restaurant. I went back to the appetizers section and selected the crab cake. Zero complaints on these dishes. Don't forget mom's wine. Gelato and cake to finish the meal. I think I've dined here once since my 2009 review. Yup, steak pics still accounted for on Yelp. Trattoria Lisina is still going strong in Driftwood. Expect $$$$, this meal was almost $300. Service - we have been here about 4-5 times, but service has never been too great or too friendly. The bar on the beer side is always pleasant but the tasting bar side always has a bit of a tiny rude vibe - and I don't mention it ever but I'm in the wine industry and we don't see this normally. Also tonight we were asked to move to a different table as they didn't prepare for a Harry Potter event ahead of time just as we settled in after a rough day (and our young pup finally chilled out). It felt we were being pushed out and the other table was by the window/door that was glass so I was cold. My senior mom was cold after we had found a great spot that was warm for her. Live music tonight was also quite off - I wouldn't suggest this place anymore. I'm not sure if in the last year it has gone down hill but it's no longer worth the drive for a mediocre experience. They gave many potential beautiful spaces but they don't utilize them, nor update them, so the vibe is just outdated. No music on the speakers can be heard when there isn't live music. So sorry to not write the best review here but it's honest.

Kudos to the bartender for doubling up on the olives for my second after I said how much I loved them- they were GOOD olives! My friend did the espresso martini to start and then got a cocktail- she really liked the martini, the cocktail was just okay. But I love a themed holiday menu so that was awesome. For food we shared the raclette loaded fries and a ceasar salad with crispy chicken. The fries were delicious! The raclette was nice and melty. The ceasar salad however was seriously underdressed and the chicken was dry and flavorless, and I was really disappointed by that. However, it was (mostly) forgiven by the FREE s'mores station they had set up with marshmallows, chocolate and crackers! The station was this adorable cart and you were allowed to make as many smores as you wanted. We definitely loved doing that! I would absolutely return here for martinis- food, not so sure!

After me telling him several times to leash his dog, his wife finally did it. I mean come on. I'm not going to let one bad apple ruin the review. It's not the fault of the brewery. This is such a cool, rustic, idyllic setting. They get extremely busy on the weekends but staff are fast and friendly with getting pour orders up. More than ample seating available. There's just so much available. Even with a lot of people in attendance, the amount of land allows for quieter areas should you choose so. The open fields have trees for shading as well. A couple of bathrooms across the property make it so you don't have to walk far from wherever you're located. I personally love the vintage Airstream converted to a bathroom. Well two actually, the Airstream has a men's and women's room. The covered patios are also large and have a dance hall vibe. Live music and deejays perform from under the covered patios. Food truck onsite (their own) & pizzas are made onsite too. The food looked really good though we didn't try any. We shared two pours (2-half pours) that were amazing. One was a sour which I don't normally like. This one, I liked. The table beer was perfectly refreshing on a hot summer day. Also had a hibiscus mint iced tea=yum. The beers are so special. Like the best of the best in craft beer world. Beers are made with water from their well and native wild yeast. The grains are locally sourced and certified organic. Other ingredients like fruit, herbs, etc. all come from Hill Country. You can absolutely taste the difference. Fantastic products and visit. Note: Because it's in the country and off the beaten path, the roads and parking lots aren't the best. Dusty with lots of rocks and deep holes. Be careful not to drive more than 5 mph.

I can say the ambiance is wonderful. It is a beautiful place. Our previous attending and food choices/selections were fantastic. In preparation for, since two had not been there, I pointed them to the online menu. First mistake, the menu is old and requires update. I think if I had known that I would not have made Tilley's an option. The prices of everything were pretty high. And based on the food we selected, most was not worth the cost. One order included Short Rib Pasta with a thin pasta as tagliolini. Instead, I receive a pulled pork with a very thick pasta. I did not care for it. I like thin pasta. Pictures display what was provided and a typical Northern Italy dish of tagliolini. Because I am not certain of the plate names, I can only comment as to what our group had to say. And of course, the menu online is still not up to date. Steak Frites. The steak was a little tough and cold. It did not really have a real flavor. It was accompanied by fries that were not tasty at all. Thank God for ketchup. House made Focaccia, as an appetizer, was a good size that could be shared among the 4 of us. Make sure to ask for extra butter because they only provide a small container. As big as it is and 4 adults, you would think they would automatically provide enough butter for each. The night was so busy that when we finally did ask and got it, the bread was already cold. The lemon brick chicken was another favorite dish in our group. It was tasty. The best dish was the fish (cod). It was superb, since we were disappointed in our own meals, we were fortunate the birthday girl shared with us. The fish was cooked excellent. Let me summarize by saying that based on prices, staff, and time for food to come to us, it wasn't worth it. I think a better choice would have been Trattoria Lisina in Driftwood where you don't have to pay for the bread and staff is always there to take care of you and get the food to you in a more expeditious fashion. Fortunately, Tilley's is beautiful therefore the surroundings make time go by a little quicker. I did send a similar note to Tilley's, but they did not respond.
