I purchased the month of coordination and I was also a COVID bride--so take this with a grain of salt--I was so overwhelmed during the months leading up to wedding with the multiple spreadsheets and questions from this company. I wish I had shelled out more money for coordination because it was too much and I took every question and spreadsheet requirement personally. It felt like more stacked on top of what I had done. To fully express how grateful we are for Cassie and her team would require more words than character count will allow, but to summarize, I believe there's no better wedding planner in all of Austin. Hiring Cassie was absolutely the best decision we made (and the best money we spent) in the entire planning process. My now husband and I interviewed two other full-service wedding planners before meeting with Cassie -- what we quickly realized after speaking with her is that 'full service' does not mean the same thing across the profession. The first two planners had around 30 and five weddings under their belts respectively, while Cassie has to have done over 300 weddings by now. She had impressive answers to all of our questions and asked us questions about details we'd not even thought of. It was very clear from the beginning that she was incredibly well connected in the Austin wedding world and a seasoned, meticulous planner. The kicker? She charged a full $2,000 LESS for her services than the previous two planners we met with, both of whom were significantly less experienced. My husband and I are both detail-oriented people (some would say picky) and type-A perfectionists, so we had a lot of notes, questions, and specific requests for just about everything, from florals and curating the perfect food and drink menus to the tiniest details around signage, linens, décor, etc. We thought that probably made us difficult/annoying clients, but Cassie told us we weren't even in her top 10 pickiest couples (I take that to mean we were number 11 hehe). So I imagine she's worked with clients ranging from totally hands off to totally hands on -- she'll accommodate whatever involvement you want ... as long as you trust her :) Which we 100% did! Cassie helped us plan, postpone, downscale, and ultimately convert our wedding into an elopement due to Coronavirus. We hired Cassie for a day-of coordinator for my daughter's wedding, but she was MUCH more than a day-of coordinator. She was so very helpful in assisting us in the months prior to the wedding by giving advice, information, helping us to be sure we were remembering all the details of a wedding, and getting all of our information that she would need for the wedding. That was all so helpful and comforting, but then we she came and completely took over on the rehearsal day - THAT was when I felt the complete relief that comes with hiring Cassie. She told me and my daughter to "Turn Off" and let her take over, and we did, and it was WONDERFUL. She was sweet and kind, completely in control, completely professional, everywhere all the time, so lovely to my entire family and all my guests, kept everything running completely smoothly, and is absolutely the reason that all the planning that led up to the event went off without a hitch. And here is my one piece of wedding advice to everyone who asks what I learned - Hire a wedding coordinator (Cassie Crudo if you can get her!!), and hire her to plan the entire wedding and for the day-of. When I say Cassie and "Bride's Best Friend" is the reason our wedding was everything my heart could of imagined it would be, I mean it. But what's even crazier is that without Cassie, it would have been a hot mess. Of all of the people and services enlisted to pull off our wedding, (which included the near impossible feat of corralling my GINORMOUS family and wedding party) the singular person I give the most credit to is Cassie. "Bride's Best Friend" is no joke! She will be yours, I promise! Cassie used her mad skills to organize every detail--down to the minute. Bride's Best Friend was exactly this! From the moment I met Cassie, I knew she was the right match to be my "day of coordinator" at our wedding. She assured me that with her knowledge and experience, that I could relax and enjoy myself at the wedding. We had 120 guests at a venue in Austin for our wedding and dinner reception with dancing. After I selected and booked our vendors: DJ, caterer, dessert/cake, officiant, floral arrangements, make up/hair artist, photographer, videographer, venue, bar service, transportation and decorations, Cassie verified our services, and coordinated their arrival. She helped us create a timeline, organized decorations, arranged the seating, gave our payments to vendors if needed and made sure all services needed were covered.
