Don't know what kind of meat they used in the meatball sub, but it wasn't Hamburg. Unidentifiable stringy junk in it, maybe chicken grizzle. Absolutely gross. The French fries weren't bad till I got a few off the top then it was all small little scraps, are you kidding me. They won't even give you a napkin unless you ask. No excuse for that. This is a pretty typical neighborhood place. They serve the standard fare: pizza, subs, salads, etc. They do have seafood which is nice for you crazy people that like that stuff! The pizza is Greek style which I am usually not a fan of, but I really like theirs. They have a pretty decent list of toppings ranging from Hawaiian to BBQ Chicken. The subs have always been top-notch, with the steak and cheese being my favorite. They have great service. I have never had to wait longer than 10 minutes after calling in, even when picking up during dinner time. They also seem to have a fleet of delivery cars. I feel like I see them everywhere! I have been a long time customer of your store. Always chatting with your employees, laughing and having a fun time when I go in, and that is frequently. On Oct., 31st around 5:00 pm I called to place an order for delivery. I have just had major achilles surgery and can not get up and down my front stairs. I started to explain to the woman on the phone that I'D like to ask a favor. That when the driver arrives, if he could come through the door and go to the top of the stairs. It would be no different than If he came to anyone else's door to deliver. No safety issue for the driver.. She immediately became rude and said I can't tell the driver to come into the house. Again, I tried to explain that it would be no different than anyone else's front door, except that the driver would need to go up the stairs, and again she got rude, defensive and raising her voice to me. I finally told her to cancel the order. Just want you to know, this is the last time I will ever frequent your establishment. And I've spend a lot of money over the past 6 years I've been coming to your store. This is the store on Brookside Rd, in Westford. In todays day of the pandemic I certainly understand the issues of safety. As I said and tried to explain, it would have been no different than The driver ringing the doorbell at anyone else's home and I'd be in a mask.. Even when I've been in the store, prior to, and even during the pandemic to pick up my food, I hear her, and the way she talks to other customers. I don't know if any other patrons feel the same way, or if your store has even lost customers because of her "ATTITUDE", but she needs lessons in the way to talk to people. We don't need you, you need us and our business. I thank you for the great foot I've enjoyed over the years, but with the attitude of the woman, (I think she may be a member of the family) I can not and will not ever spend another cent of my hard earned money in your place All your employees know me, if you ask, tell them it's the golf guy, fried seafood dinners, large greek salads with "blue cheese dressing, ( that will be a trigger I'm sure) as we laugh about it.. So again, thank you for your service and good food, but unfortunately for you and me, I just can't ever frequent your restaurant. Place used to be great and now I'm not impressed. I walked in today and it was like a whole different place. When I walked in The girl was wiping the counters down with a cloth. She took my money then proceeds to scratch her neck and opens the drawer and pulls out 2 burger patties with her bare hands then my burger buns after touching the raw meat,money, a dirty cloth and scratches her neck. We have lived in Westford since 1996 and have tried the Silver Palate several times and regret it almost everytime. This latest attempt was 2 cheesesteak subs and some fries. AN HOUR LATER the food was delivered. The subs were minimally filled with grissley beef and some cheese. The fries were over done and all the food was cold. On other occasions we have ordered their pizza and if you like REAL pizza, this is not the place. Add to the the rude staff, and all I can is STAY AWAY! read more

Silver Palate is just 'okay' , not a great pizza place to go to. They do have a pretty decent pita pizza. The rest is pretty standard sub shop fare. One really annoying thing about this place is customer service. If they mess up your order, they will not accept responsibility. They challenge you, deny any wrong doing, and will not apologize. That alone usually keeps me away. How hard is it to just say "I'm sorry" , when they were clearly at fault? Apparently, too hard. Meh. read more

I'm not a Greek-style pizza nut, but theirs is pretty good. The gluten-free pizza--the reason we tried the place--is good and comes on the separate tray they use to cook it (so you know they don't cook it on the same surface). The prices are good. It's a cash-only business, but if they took credit cards they'd have higher prices and I'd be complaining about those instead. They don't indicate in-store or on their website that it's cash-only (though I guess the ATM inside should be a sign), so that's my one complaint. It's important to have a neighborhood pizza place where everyone in the family can eat, so this place fits the bill. read more

We ordered from SP a few weeks ago. The pepperoni pie was fine - not great, not terrible. The BBQ chicken was exceptionally bad. It was obvious they put no effort into it. It appears that the quality of customer service and food depends on who is behind the counter. My wife and I had a very good fish and chips dinner and excellent customer service. I recommended the restaurant to my sister, and when she went for a take out got an attitude response from a "female server" (who claimed she has worked there for years). When my sister returned home found no cole slaw and the fish size was very small. Now I feel like an idiot for recommending the restaurant and for that reason, I will not be returning. A restaurant employee with an attitude just cost the restaurant the return of 3 families. read more

One thing I can tell you about this place is that none of the employees wear gloves, from all the times I've been there I have not seen anyone wear a glove.
