Contacted Silver Olas and was able to get a quote quickly and easily. They did a great job cleaning my shower tile and were able to remove some stains from my carpet. The only disappointing part was that the team walked back and forth on the freshly cleaned carpet wearing outdoor shoes(which is a HUGE ick of mine). Since we're a no-shoes household, it felt counterintuitive to pay to have my carpets cleaned only to have them walked on with outdoor shoes afterward. I was downstairs taking care of my young daughter and didn't realize they had their outdoor shoes on for most of the carpet cleaning job and while cleaning up. This left me feeling like, in the end, the carpets weren't as clean as they could have been, which is important to me since I have a toddler at home. Overall, the quality of the cleaning was still good, and I'm still happy with the grout cleaning and stain removal (which is why I'm still giving 3 stars). Wearing shoe covers while walking on the carpet, especially after it had JUST been cleaned, would have made a big difference to the overall customer experience. read more

Worked with Jimmy at Silver Olas to get my living room, stairs, and hallway carpet cleaned and 2 bathrooms grout cleaned. They were very responsive via phone and text, and came literally the next day on time with a team of 2. I was originally quoted over the phone less than what I actually ended up paying, but that was a misunderstanding on what type of tile needed to be cleaned in my bathrooms. My bathroom grout had gotten pretty bad over the years so I am happy that Jimmy did a good job clearing it up! It's definitely better then what I could have ever done myself. I had a great experience with Silver Olas. They were one of a few businesses who reached out promptly on Yelp with all the details. I wanted 1000sqft of unglazed porcelain tile to be thoroughly cleaned and sealed (grout+surface). My tile is relatively new (2 years old) but we didn't get a proper cleaning job after installation. It's a light sand color, so the stains can really stand out. There was a bit of grime buildup in heavy traffic areas, as well minor streaks of improperly applied grout sealer from the installation. I was given a very fair quote and a description of the cleaning job as well as the type of sealer that would be used. Jimmy showed up promptly on the day of the job. They used a couple of different scrubbing machines and worked systematically through the house. Everything was cleaned and sealed within 4 hrs. Within a few days, two individuals came by as scheduled and informed me that the job would be performed using a machine scrubber and for the stubborn tile and grout stains, it would be cleaned by hand. I'm so impressed with my entire experience with Silver Olas. After I requested information, I was contacted almost immediately, and an appointment was scheduled for just 72 hours later. He arrived 15 mins early which was extremely impressive. The quote I was given over the phone was exactly what i was told upon arrival. Our carpet is ancient - hasn't been replaced since the early 80's, with years of stains and dog odors. I had a quote from Jimmy and it was a reasonable one. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of going w another contractor for various reasons including cheaper. It's true: You get what you pay for! Don't learn this lesson again! I had to call Jimmy to bail me out and save the marble which the other contractor abraded and made to appear worse after working on it. Jimmy not only showed up but he did the work and basically saved the house listing, explained to me what should have been done, and charged a beyond reasonable rate.
