But, I can't believe how far $250 a night got us in this resort. The suite was incredible clean and spacious. Everything seemed relatively updated, maintained, and very clean. The resort grounds were immaculate. The lodge/style resort rooms looked great. The adult-ish pool area looks much better than the online pictures. In fact, we commented that this was the one resort we've ever stayed in where the pictures didn't do the room and grounds justice. Most places filter and photoshop the crap out of their pictures. The staff and clientele were polite and friendly. The strip is nearby, if tourist traps are your thing, but the resort feels secluded. The only thing I can think to comment on is that there really isn't a view, which is no big deal. I think that's why it's priced slightly lower than the other resorts that have views. The grounds are nice enough to look at and the aforementioned aspects are more important. We'd stay here again. It was a nice surprise.

Best of all was their customer service here on the property. Chloe at the front desk went above and beyond. They were out of handicap rooms so she set us up on a second story and sent someone to our suite to help my husband unload our car since I could not. I would definitely recommend and stay again!

There are shows happening all day long, from live music and bluegrass to comedy and saloon-style performances. Depending on the season, there are also special productions throughout the park. It's nice to be able to sit down, take a break, and still feel like you're part of the experience. And since the shows are included with admission, it adds a lot of value to your visit. It's also a great spot if you have younger kids. There is plenty for them to do beyond just rides, including play areas, interactive attractions, and even a train ride. It's not one of those parks where little kids are limited. They can stay busy all day. The whole park has a really cool 1880s theme and is honestly one of the most beautiful theme parks I've been to. Between the shops, craftsmen, and scenery, it feels more like an experience than just rides. That said, be ready for a lot of walking. This park is very hilly and you will feel it by the end of the day. Lines can also get long during busy times. Overall, it's a really unique place with a ton to do for all ages. Between the shows, rides, and kid-friendly activities, you can easily spend a full day here and still not see everything.

If you're disabled don't stay here where they don't care how hard they make it on you!…read moreI'm a disabled veteran my wife is also handicap. We parked in our assigned number in front of our cabin; like the Front Desk had instructed us to do at check-in. They also said if we had an additional car they would have to park in the overflow parking. While we were gone for the day, the people across the road, parked their extra car in our assigned spot. I had to drop my wife off in the middle of the street in front of the cabin; then drive 300 yards to the additional parking and walk back up the steep hill. I called the main office for help. She said there was no assigned parking. When I explained to her that we are both disabled and we have to drag our luggage over 300 yards when we leave or end up blocking the street for 15 minutes. She said it doesn't matter if we're disabled or not still no assigned parking. Apparently disabled veterans and handicap people don't matter!! Never staying here again or any Thousand Hills establishments again!

We recently stayed for two nights in the Cozy 2-Bedroom cabin at Green Mountain and unfortunately…read moreour experience was disappointing overall. We were looking forward to a relaxing family getaway, but several issues throughout our stay made that difficult. We first visited the community pool area, only to find that the hot tub was out of order. While things happen, it was disappointing since that was one of the amenities we were hoping to enjoy. Back at the cabin, we decided to use the upstairs jacuzzi tub instead. Unfortunately, while my child was using the jacuzzi, we noticed water leaking through the ceiling into the downstairs bedroom area. The leak dripped onto the bed and a lampshade below, which was very concerning. Around the same time, I went downstairs to take a shower and discovered that the water temperature was dangerously hot--hot enough to burn skin. We immediately contacted maintenance. The technician arrived promptly and determined that the issues were caused by a plumbing problem. Since the jacuzzi leak could not be repaired that evening, he drained the tub to stop the water from leaking downstairs. He also informed us that the shower temperature issue could not be resolved that night and would have to wait until the following day. When I asked how we were supposed to shower safely, the issue was escalated to a supervisor, who arranged for us to move to a different unit across from our original cabin. While we appreciated the staff's efforts to accommodate us, having to pack up and move in the middle of our vacation was extremely inconvenient. Instead of relaxing and enjoying our evening, we spent hours carrying luggage, groceries, and personal belongings back and forth. The replacement unit also had stairs, which made moving everything even more difficult with a young child. The new unit did resolve the plumbing issue, and the shower temperature was normal. However, we encountered additional problems. The dining chairs were extremely uncomfortable and appeared worn out and dirty, with cushions that were badly sunken and in need of replacement. They were so uncomfortable that we ended up eating on the couch instead of at the dining table, which was not ideal, especially with a 6-year-old child. We also noticed that the bathroom sink drain would not stay open on its own and had to be manually held open to allow water to drain. Although the staff responded professionally and did their best to address the problems, the number of maintenance and comfort issues significantly impacted our stay. We chose this cabin expecting a relaxing, hassle-free vacation, but instead spent much of our time dealing with inconveniences and unexpected disruptions. For the price we paid, the experience did not meet our expectations. Unfortunately, I regret choosing this property for our family vacation and would not recommend it to travelers looking for a stress-free and relaxing getaway.

They have awesome kids pools, but they were all closed for maintenance. There is however a fairly small but nice playground that our 2yr old grandson thoroughly enjoyed. Our house had A/C issues, it never did get down to the low 70's which we set it for despite being a fairly mild weekend. The whole family got a kick out of the watching the ground hogs which are everywhere! We saw very little of the staff which seemed odd but not a problem, and they were very friendly. With the closest lake access being a couple minutes driving distance, and the closest beach being even further, the pool not working left us very little to do on site. If you do go to the beach, be aware that the entry line is insanely slow and chaotic. People yelling at each other and a police presence, After about 10 minutes in line, we along with several other vehicles left without ever getting in. I suspect the earlier you go the better chance you have.

Also, there's a really cute marmot and a cute skunk on property too. Outwardly, the places look nice, but once you look at the details, you realize how run down this place really is. We are owners and needed to spend points as we couldn't roll them over nor save them. I wonder exactly where my HOA is going to, but it's definitely NOT this property. We ended up in a 2 bedroom cottage after issues with 2 studios in their Lakeside building (see my review in the Lakeside property). The cottage seemed super nice when we first got in here after our studio debacle, but you can see there are water leaks, mismatched ceiling paint (prob a fix to a water leak), AC broke after 2 days when it's been 95+ outside, a broken lamp in the downstairs bedroom, exterior lock not put on correctly, and deep gouges in the floor. Most of the cottages have cracked siding and missing roof shingles (prob the reason for water leaks). We looked up staying here out of pocket and realized that staying a week in a 2 bedroom cottage costs $100 more for the week than our HOA for 75k points. Also, 75k points gets you a week in a 2 bedroom cottage in Jan/Feb. For Aug, you can only get the studio in their dilapidated building. The hot tub at the lighthouse is cooler than Table Rock Lake and about the temperature of the pool. The main pool by check in seems nicer and is great for kids. One of the doors in women's restroom is missing from the stall and the steel in the men's restroom is rusted. Not sure how hard it is to get replacements. One nice thing is that it's away from the center of Branson so it's quiet. Stay away from this property and Capital Vacations. Our AC stopped working and we dealt with it as it was 73° so not unbearable, but on our last day, it was 86°. We told the front desk and asked for a portable AC, which they said they only had a fan. The AC tech came out and when pulling the breaker to work on it properly, the breaker box became separated from the siding. Unfortunately for us, the AC wasn't fixed but the tech left a box fan. The box fan was NOT going to work for the 86° temp so we decided to pack up and check out. Michelle was super apologetic at the desk and offered to move us to another unit, but we didn't think it was worth it since it was going to be less than 6 hours. After being home for a few hours, 11 hrs away, I received a call from Carla checking up on our AC complaint and wondering if our unit had cooled down. WHAT?? I had to tell her that we checked out last night. This place doesn't know which way is up.

On the homepage of the website, it boasts that they are just a short walk from the city's top attractions. The closest attraction, legends in concert, is about 1.6 miles away and a 37 minute walk. The road that you need to walk on doesn't have a sidewalk, path, or shoulder. It has rolling hills and curves. Making a left hand turn onto it can be challenging. I think walking along it would be a bit death-defying. Check in. We were on the road for about 11 hours with breaks. After you get your room assigned, you were told to go to a little room to get your parking pass. This is where they want to sell you a timeshare. I don't know about you, but the first thing I think about after driving 11 hours is buying a timeshare. I told the first person that we didn't have any interest in it. She brought in another guy I told him we didn't have any interest. He said they were different and that they had a written guarantee not to pressure you. I told him that I've already said no to you and someone else and we're still going. He said well, I had to dry. You would think this would be the end of it. However, I received a call Monday, Tuesday, and two calls on Wednesday. They use the premise of we're just checking up on your visit to see if you have everything or on Wednesday they wanted to know when we were going to check out. The checkout day is Sunday. I had to go visit their office again to tell them that I wasn't interested and to stop calling me. Thankfully, the calls stopped. Housekeeping and maintenance. The room has a pull out couch for sleeping. We tried to find the sheets for it but we're unable to locate them. I requested sheets and never received any. There is a fitness center and pool. There are towels in the fitness center, but not in the pool area. We were told that our towels for the pool were on top of the dryer. There were none. There was no dishwashing soap. We are caught in a rainstorm. When we used the dryer for some of our things, there was a loud banging sound. The lint trap and its cover had come loose or were loose. I tried to put it back together and was unable to. Toilet number one probably needs a flapper valve. It seems to randomly run. Toilet number two is loose and rocks when you're sitting on it. If you use the shower, make sure you put a towel on the door. The towel rack is located on the wall. If you open the shower door, you will cover up the towel rack. Which means you have to get completely out of the way of the shower door and close it to access the towels. Part of the door sweep on the front door is missing, leaving a fairly large hole. You can see the sun coming through. On day one when we arrived home we saw ants coming in through the hole. On day two we noticed that there were ants on the kitchen counter. We called maintenance. They sent two guys to spray. They sprayed from the doorway all the way along the carpet, approximately 15 feet over the countertop around the dishwasher and around our paper towels, paper plates, and paper bowls. this left us with puddles of ant poison and ant debris. We were left with the cleanup of our kitchen and floors. We were also concerned about ingesting some of the poison. It seems logical that you would move guests out of a room, take care of the problem, and clean up.

Kitchen was well stocked as far and utensils, dishes, pots and pans, colander, can opener, toaster, coffee maker, cutting board and cookie sheets. We had kids ages 2, 5, 8, 10 and they loved everything about this resort. From the lake toys to all 3 pools, the games room and the playground. We only went into Branson once then spent the rest of the time at the resort. We kept commenting on how quiet it was and even though there were a lot of people you never felt crowded. Pizza World has fantastic pizza, coffee and ice cream. Everywhere we went it was so clean. I loved the communication by text about the weather and having to close pools and lake area for the safety of the visitors. Having a washer and dryer in the room was great, especially with little ones always spilling something on their clothes. The only negative things I can say was there was no sandy beach by the lake. Our grandkids would've loved that especially when walking into the lake. Bring water shoes because those rocks are sharp and are really hard to walk on. For the activities they are offer I wish it was listed on the paper where the activity was held at and the cost of each one. Also list on your website to bring paper products like paper towels, Kleenex and toilet paper (1 roll is in each bathroom), Food containers and plastic wrap. One last thing, would have been nice to have hooks in the bedrooms to hang clothes up on. All in all I would highly recommend this place for a fun family vacation and we will definitely be back.

However, we traveled from Dallas and our 3 year old developed a fever 1/2 way into the drive, so playing on a playground was not in the cards for him. Our room was finally ready around 5. We reserved a 2 bedroom condo. The front room with windows facing the parking lot and walkway had 2 beds which the children would be sleeping in. I had a weird feeling and checked the windows. Thankful that I did because all the windows were unlocked. The jacuzzi was dirty. Several spiders and flies inside the condo. The refrigerator made a loud noise the entire time making it hard to hear the TV. The washer was also very loud. We had to have our keycards reactivated several times. When I was getting them reactivated one of the times, the staff handed me the cards back which I grabbed with my left hand that had an iWatch on the wrist. She said it's probably deactivated again now. They should have a better system. The condo was not stocked. There was 1 extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom for a 6 day stay and 5 people. There were no paper towels. The grass was not cut outside of our patio so the kids couldn't play and there was a dirty beach towel lying in front of the patio.
