Wonderworks was a fantastic experience. Way cooler than we expected. We ended up spending 6 hours here and riding most of the rides multiple times. It was a fairly slow day in terms of people (Friday before Memorial Day) so wait times were low which was nice. The amount of different exhibits for all ages was nice and it offered a number of things we could all do as a family. The stand up Twister game was a family favorite as was laser tag. the XD theatre and the Wonder Coaster ended up being their overall favorites. Our boys are 14,10 and 7 and all do them loved it. First let me say that I am a tour bus driver and I have taken groups to the Pigeon Forge location and had an excellent experience there. Because of my experience in Pigeon Forge, I brought my wife to the Branson Location so she could have a good experience with me. I am totally disappointed in the Branson location because so many of the exhibits and interactive activities were not working. Upon leaving I informed the manager That I was not happy and why. He acted totally indifferent with only a half-hearted apology and multiple excuses. No offers for refund, free admission next time, etc. I don't think that my patronage had any value at this location and as a result I will not be endorsing visiting bus tours to patronize this location either. This place is amazing for families with kids, but honestly even adults will have a good time too! There is something for everyone. The tickets are all-day tickets, so you can leave and come back the same day, which makes it even more worth the price. We spent hours exploring all 3 floors, playing games, and riding the rides.I love that the kids get to have fun while learning at the same time. The outside of the building is really cool, and there is so much to do inside. Plus, kids under 4 are free.My only complaint is the elevator was pretty slow, and if you decide to do all 3 floors, be prepared for about 65 stairs if you take the stairs. This was a one and done kind of place for us. Many of the hands on exhibits didn't appear to be working or there wasn't clear instructions. And there were no employees around to assist if you had questions. We were in and out in about an hour and a half. read more

We have visited a lot of Wonderworks around the country and it was a no brainer to visit the one in Branson as we always enjoy our time there. However, this was the worst Wonderworks I have ever been to. Staff at the front desk was less than friendly. Many of the exhibits did not work or were down. It felt like being at an oversized daycare. Kids were running around unsupervised, cutting in lines, etc. It was frustrating and underwhelming at the same time. We waited 45 minutes with only three kids ahead of us to do the climbing wall because I assume staff has shortages. There is a big area for improvement here. First of all fixing the down exhibits especially for the price customers are paying would be great. Secondly, being more strict and making sure that those who are visiting are following the rules. This Wonderworks is less than spectacular given the state of cleanliness and service to its exhibits. I would not visit in the future and if I knew in advance how it would be it would have been taken off of our to do list. read more

My daughter and I went here when we were in Branson a few months ago and we had a blast. We had discount tickets so the price was pretty good. You know you are going to have a ton of fun just by looking at the upside-down building from the outside. My daughter had a blast. There are so many fun things to do and most have a science teaching moment, which is always a plus. My daughter loved the bed of nails, lol. We just got back from Wonderworks and thought the place was fantastic. Maybe we didn't have high expectations going on, but we were pretty pleased with all of the interactive exhibits. On the day we were there, there were very few crowds or other families and plenty of workers around to help. Two of our three kids were free for being under 4 years old, as well. We spent about three hours there but could have spent another three on the last and final floor. Anyway, it was great. We went during Spring Break and knew it would be busier than usual. But we ended up waiting 70 minutes to get inside. Each larger attraction (climbing wall, roller coaster simulation, etc) each had a wait of 60-90 minutes. We ended up spending over 6 hours there and still missing a lot of the exhibits. There were a lot of cool things to see. But the whole experience was expensive, frustrating, and overstimulating. It seemed chaotically organized and inefficient. Oh the fun !! This place is knock your socks off super fun and educational amazing ! We were blessed for come for a field trip and oh the fun we had, we could have stayed all day. We climbed both sides of the climbing walls, had a blast in the laser fun course and made loads of bubbles after laying on a bed of nails. The highlight was the 360 bikes. I don't recommend this place for adults. This Place is meant for family with kids up till middle school, a stretch for high schoolers... But definitely not for those over 35... While some of the exhibits are cool, this place is dominated with a flood of kids which is cool ... And parents. From what I saw, kids had a blast, enjoying the exhibits, participating, and laughing. The Lazer tag on the grits floor was a complete chaotic mess, basically, it is a free for all, no teams and so imagine just pointing and shooting with no goal except for a high score, shooting everyone around you. For me, not a place to visit again. While you can buy tickets online, you still have to wait in line, so just buy at the desk.... Getting around is ok, just watch out for the children and the litany of strollers... Arcade you Still needed to purchase a game card to play the games. read more

We had an amazing time here! Kids in primary through middle school and adults all got to participate in activities while learning about different scientific disciplines. The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed for lunch and the pizza was delicious! There was so much to do and everything was included in the ticket price, no additional fees for any of the activities once inside. We will definitely be adding this to our list of things to always do while in Branson! read more

We decided to go on the one really cold day while we stayed in Branson. Unfortunately everyone had the same idea. It was packed the entire time we were there. We did get to do some of the activities and there was plenty of things to do outside of queuing for an attraction. The kids loved the experience. I'll say if you hate stairs, then you won't like it here. Good news though, there is an elevator. Food was ridiculously overpriced. Get water from the vending machine and save yourself a few dollars. Wouldn't recommend anything else as even a hotdog was $5. read more

We have visited children's museums and science museums all across the country-in big cities and small towns. Wonderworks Branson was a HUGE disappointment--by far the worst experience we've had. We arrived shortly after it opened, having bought tickets online. DO NOT DO THIS. It actually made our wait longer. We still had to wait in line with everyone buying tickets. And, the person at the front desk didn't know how to process our ticket. She had to call a manager. Once inside, we went straight to the top floor. NONE of the interactive exhibits were working aside from the hurricane simulator (a big fan). The touchscreens on exhibits didn't work, some weren't on, other exhibits were either not working or not turned on. There were many workers in the climbing area and snack bar--but none on the floor and none willing to help. The astronaut suit that they said you could try on was just a photo op where you stick your head inside the helmet. Down on the second floor, there were many families. Talking to other parents, we were not the only disappointed people there. They were frustrated, as were we, that the exhibits were not working and/or did not live up to what they promised. (ie The bed of nails is under plexiglass.) We were able to play a game turning off lights. A running game and Twister worked up to a point, but were not user sensitive. You would touch a color or move as indicated, and the game sensor wouldn't react. If you liked heights, the two upside down rides were working. But, those were not on our agenda--and had extremely long lines. I would not recommend this attraction to children of any age. read more

Got a discount because the third floor was closed for repairs after a fire. Many of the activities seem like they need a bit more explanation to get them to work right. Overall we had a good time, and my five-year-old was definitely attracted to certain exhibits more than others. She must have colored dozens of dinosaurs to see them come to life on screen! The employees told us when we arrived at opening that a school group would be coming in shortly and to head upstairs first for more time to ourselves. That was a hot tip! read more

It is pricey but you can spend several hours here. We did laser tag on the 3rd floor and enjoyed the concessions. There are video games (you have to buy a card) and other exhibits. Floor 2 is where we spent most of our time. While we waited on the big kids to do the NASA ride my little ones colored dinosaurs that would project on to a screen, played with the interactive sand, a fun snowboarding game, giant lite brite, bed of nails, simulated roller coaster ride (must be 40lbs and 42") and a cool art exhibit. This museum is pricey but worth every penny. They have plenty of things to do that span a large age range. Everything is interactive and touchable. There's way more to this museum then many others. The museum entrance cost includes many experiences that usually cost extra money like laser obstacles and tag, rock climbing and more! this place was really, really, worth it. although I only went on two of the attractions I had my typical amusement on both, the XD ride was good, I was just a bit underwhelmed, but too be fair it is hard to manage so I will let that slide. There were a lot of interactive things to choose from and I really enjoyed the rhythm game-type machines. My best favorite was the one where you run in place and the one where you try to click the lights as fast as possible. the service was nice and staff was helpful, everything felt right and I had no trouble mapping out the area. The good is that there are several floors of interactive learning and playing for kids ages 4-12. The building is deceiving by its exterior size compared of whats actually inside. It was extremely busy the day we went and made the experience little worse due to kids trying to get their turn and not many interesting things to do. Several pieces were not working or very basic for this cost. IMO The price was not worth the experience. We have been to so many to places all over an this one just was our least favorite. I guess If they didn't charge parents a full ticket to enter so their kids could be supervised. Really nothing for adults can do but 2 rides and one theatre thing. IMO go to spend on something else for that kids love.( go carts, arcade, etc) If a family of 4 could go for $50.00 that would be a fair price. read more

We were excited to visit here with if being new since last time we came to Branson. I knew I wouldn't be able to do a lot of the rides because of being pregnant, but I knew my companions would have a blast. Wonderworks impresses you from outside its doors with the creative story and presentation. Inside, you will find a science museum mixed with carnival rides. They even have Lazer tag! Is would definately say this attraction is mostly geared towards the little ones. However, adults will find plenty to entertain them as well. It was extremely crowded when we were there so that also changed our experience. The main reason I took off a star was because they had some EXTREMELY rude staff and were exceptionally inefficient in moving people through lines for rides. I give some grace and only take off one star because this is a newer establishment. However, I would expect them to have this more ironed out in the future because it made the experience a LOT less pleasant. I would recommend this attraction to anyone with school-aged children. For adults without children, the wait times on the adult rides (even with short lines) are not worth it. read more

We have a science museum in Oklahoma and that's pretty much what this place was. I wish I had known it before we spent so much on tickets because I think we could've had other more unique things for us to do. With that being said, everyone else seemed to be enjoying it. The layout was not fantastic though, because as you first walk in youre immediately in line for a ride and everyone is standing around they don't know who's in line or who needs to move through to another location. You can easily spend all day here and there is something for everyone to enjoy. Your tickets give you all-day access. So you can leave for lunch and go back to keep exploring. There are a couple concession areas for snacks and drinks. They are a little higher priced, but nothing unreasonable. We took our wagon stroller and moving around was no problem, there are large elevators that you can take from floor to floor. A lot of the reviews we read prior to going said that several things were out of order or shut down, but we did not see anything like that. I've traveled extensively and visited many, many similar venues over a lifetime of being 1st a parent and now a grandparent. This facility has a corporate mentality, not welcoming family friendly attitude. Their manager Bryan literally called my wife and I liars. He didn't know the facts, and assumed a corporate posture without consideration for good old fashioned customer service. In my experience the customer comes first, and it's managements job to pervery and lead by example showing and teaching their employees the same, not corporate regulations. This was a great deal! There was so much to do you could easily spend a day here if you really see it all. I didn't realize there are actually rides that require closed toe shoes, I should have read more about it before hand. The 2 year old enjoyed just wandering around, the 7 year old loved everything.
