    More food crumbs

First things first: the second you check in they try to trick you into a signing up for a breakfast so they can try to sell you a timeshare, I didn't realize I booked a timeshare resort when booking ‍ When we arrived to the room the walls were not clean and had visible stains from previous guests. The floors were not clean and needed to be mopped and swept. The bed covers have a few stains on them and what looks like a booger and some crumbs on the mattress. The staff was friendly and helpful with bribing us a new remote when ours stopped working. They do not clean the rooms during your stay so if you need anything restocked you must call the front desk which is fine for me as I prefer the privacy. We enjoyed the walking trails that were very on site and the proximity to attractions was good.

    Dirt all over walls

This place was the most disgusting and filthy place I have ever stayed. We went to speak with the manager several times during our stay and they said they had nothing else available until the last night we were there. The water heater broke twice resulting in maintenance men in our cabin fixing it. There was hair in the carpet and the carpet was pulling up. There were food splatters on the dishwasher and refrigerator. There was dirt and mold in every corner of the floor and bath tub. The walls were chipped and filthy. The maintenance man said they hadn't rented that cabin for two years he was surprised we were there. Don't ever stay here they won't help you if you get this kind of cabin or condo!!! I rate it zero stars but it made me put one.

We are currently staying here. This room and experience is not worth what I paid. We came down for Police Week. We didn't get reservations book in advance. We decided this had to be a great location right? It is $$ at almost $900 for 3 nights. WE WERE WRONG! We also offered a free breakfast on Saturday but had to listen to a guided tour. We explained we needed to check out itinerary and would let her know if we were interested. Well we aren't. Got a call that night to see if we wanted to attend. Now this room is an old typical hotel room. We are on the back side and have to walk around the building to get access. Now, the room is dirty with dust and what looks like snot on the bathroom walls. Coffee pot but not complimentary coffee. The biggest complaint now.....we can't get any privacy and the people around us are rude and LOUD! Apparently we have been stuck in between families with kids and they are very disrespectful. Standing out on the balcony's running up and down the walkway. The doors don't shut good and so they are slamming them. I am beyond irritated and upset. We are a couple in our 50's and like to have fun but also have respect for others. Oh and last night a guy was leaning up against our truck and was out smoking.

One of the lines we had to wait in, just to get a room, and we did that twice, and had to endure a timeshare sales pitch.

Do not stay here, it is a timeshare sales resort,.and even though we reserved,.and pa8d through priceline, they make you wait until they try and pressure you into a timeshare before they will check you in, and since they do that all day, for alot of guests, the lines are 2-3 hours, and you have to wait two, or 3 times before getting a room!

When you decide to go to Brandon randomly, it's hard to find a place to stay. Luckily WBW had rooms available. Great location, great staff. It says restaurant on site, but it was closed. Room was your typical hotel room but had all the amenities. We needed a toaster randomly and they had it at pur room in no time flat. Will definitely stay here again!

Got to be the worst we've every stayed at. They put us in a cabin that was a through back to 60's. Dirty dirty dirty. Barroom nasty with gold finished and chalking broken and mouldy. "Cum" stains on carpet in bedroom and entrance to bathroom. Carpets and upholstery was filthy. TVs didn't work and fridge broken. They gave us another room and a few days later they put someone else in this place. Disgusting.

I see the low review, I'm going to standup for WestGate. We are fans of this location from many points. It's one of the most secluded and well kept places in Branson. We are owners so we have a lot more experience here but have witnessed the good and bad. We believe the good way our weights the bad. We always experience great service, we have a excellent comfortable place to hang with our friends and family. Great options for things to do inside the facility or nearby. WestGate does a great job maintaining the grounds and amenities. Some of the rooms could use a little better carpenter skills. Seems the painters need a bit more care while doing the touch up work. We always have a comfortable bed, sofa and eating areas, kitchen is equipped with most everything you need. You just make a call to the front desk for any supplies you need and it's delivered to you. Decent internet, decent selection of TV channels. Our rooms this time had the best view and we felt like we were hidden in the woods. WestGate had worked hard to keep that feel. Many come to Branson for the entertainment, we come for the beauty and serenity

Hotel Room area, building 4 Rooms - dated green carpet; slapped on paint; moldy tub grout and floor tile; aged fluorescent lights; no privacy - window opened to sidewalk where everyone could see inside. Room very dark. Maid - There is no daily maid service - something they neglected to tell me. Price - It's a low-price, low budget property. Photos are done to maximize room sizes and pools - deceiving. Think "motel 6 resort". Location - good. Little shop with coffee was nice. Staff - quotes "hotel lines" and not empowered to help guests. Went to front desk to ask a question and a janitor decided to help me - would not let me finish I thought to ask a question and was very condescending. Resort less than half full but would not allow late checkouts because they "needed the rooms". They did offer one hour - 11am. At 10:15 am, housekeeping tried to come in the room. Honestly the only time we saw any housekeeper before 3! Return - likely not. Maybe a cabin. Hotel? Nope. Too many other options. This was a last minute find but I would not recommend staying here.

We came here for our little honeymoon and it was so fun to get out of Kansas, see an all around fun spot, in the Midwest, and relax. They even upgraded our room. (Note : If you like getting your rooms cleaned each day, stay in the hotel, not timeshare lodges/cabins. My only complaint.) Other than that, there's a TON of variety, in lodging options, activities, grocery store, with coffee & ice cream and the staff is pretty friendly. Despite how many kiddos, young people and families there are, it stays pretty quiet at nite. I think the trees help. And, they're building a big water park too. They're close to the strip and they have free shuttle service. Can't beat the location! Enjoy!

You check in at the main building which had several nice features plus a great lobby with a computer, coffee selection and a fire pit/fireplace outside to enjoy. After being given our rooms we discovered we were right above the pool in building 7 which was a bit loud for us. We called the guest services who graciously moved us a few rooms to allow for a quieter experience which we greatly appreciated! It didn't take long at all and we could then get situated. The room has a nice round balcony with a table and chairs on which we could enjoy a meal and the view of the lake. It is also amazing how many birds you hear throughout the day! We lived that aspect. The elevators all access paths and rooms so they are handicapped accessible which is so helpful (visiting with an elderly relative who doesn't do stairs well). The grounds seem to be well tended with lots of fun amenities like a playground, tennis courts and lake access. We took a bit of a walk and enjoyed a bench down by the lake. Our room was well kept and had a gas fireplace which we thoroughly enjoyed on a rainy day. We also live that we can cook and eat in or go out. I love how firm and comfy the beds are, as well as how many extras they provide like towels, blankets, shampoos etc. We read a few reviews prior to coming that said the WiFi was horrid, but we had no trouble and my husband was even able to work remotely most of the time. It is a secure network as well which is super helpful. Not sure if it was our unit or building but it worked wonderfully for us. We have greatly appreciated our stay and love the care the staff takes with our questions. We recommend this spot for an out of the way stay!

The "waterfalls" have no natural river or water source connected to them, and in several places you can literally see exposed pipes feeding the water features. The cave and rock structures also appear heavily manufactured. In some areas, you can look underneath the rocks and plainly see man-made construction materials, including exposed particle board. I don't necessarily object to themed or artificial attractions when they're presented honestly. What bothered me was the misleading presentation. The tour tries to create the impression of a natural Ozarks landscape experience, but once you notice the construction details, it starts to feel more like a theme park set than a scenic nature tour. For the price charged, I expected authenticity and transparency. Instead, the experience felt staged and deceptive. I spoke with an employee about it afterwards, and he acknowledged it was fake and suggested I go elsewhere if I wanted to see real tock formations & waterfalls. I don't think I'll follow his advice, but I won't be coming back here.

Also, there's a really cute marmot and a cute skunk on property too. Outwardly, the places look nice, but once you look at the details, you realize how run down this place really is. We are owners and needed to spend points as we couldn't roll them over nor save them. I wonder exactly where my HOA is going to, but it's definitely NOT this property. We ended up in a 2 bedroom cottage after issues with 2 studios in their Lakeside building (see my review in the Lakeside property). The cottage seemed super nice when we first got in here after our studio debacle, but you can see there are water leaks, mismatched ceiling paint (prob a fix to a water leak), AC broke after 2 days when it's been 95+ outside, a broken lamp in the downstairs bedroom, exterior lock not put on correctly, and deep gouges in the floor. Most of the cottages have cracked siding and missing roof shingles (prob the reason for water leaks). We looked up staying here out of pocket and realized that staying a week in a 2 bedroom cottage costs $100 more for the week than our HOA for 75k points. Also, 75k points gets you a week in a 2 bedroom cottage in Jan/Feb. For Aug, you can only get the studio in their dilapidated building. The hot tub at the lighthouse is cooler than Table Rock Lake and about the temperature of the pool. The main pool by check in seems nicer and is great for kids. One of the doors in women's restroom is missing from the stall and the steel in the men's restroom is rusted. Not sure how hard it is to get replacements. One nice thing is that it's away from the center of Branson so it's quiet. Stay away from this property and Capital Vacations. Our AC stopped working and we dealt with it as it was 73° so not unbearable, but on our last day, it was 86°. We told the front desk and asked for a portable AC, which they said they only had a fan. The AC tech came out and when pulling the breaker to work on it properly, the breaker box became separated from the siding. Unfortunately for us, the AC wasn't fixed but the tech left a box fan. The box fan was NOT going to work for the 86° temp so we decided to pack up and check out. Michelle was super apologetic at the desk and offered to move us to another unit, but we didn't think it was worth it since it was going to be less than 6 hours. After being home for a few hours, 11 hrs away, I received a call from Carla checking up on our AC complaint and wondering if our unit had cooled down. WHAT?? I had to tell her that we checked out last night. This place doesn't know which way is up.

Unfortunately, we were told there was nothing they could do at that time and that a manager would be emailed. No alternative accommodations, inspection, or immediate assistance was offered. Because of this, we felt we had no choice but to cut our trip short. We were staying with family and friends and had activities planned for another full day, all of which had to be canceled. This was especially frustrating and disappointing right before Christmas. A situation like this should be handled with urgency and care. The lack of response and support only made an already stressful situation worse. We expected much better from a resort of this reputation.

Why can I go to a $50 a night 1 star hotel and connect my son's Xbox to the tv with no problem so he can play games or use our own Netflix account (because I refuse to put my account info on a device that isn't mine) but I come to a luxury resort and HDMI access is locked out? I had to go to Walmart the first morning I was there to buy a 24" tv and set it up on the coffee table for the weekend. They claim that the sales meetings aren't pressured but in reality you are absolutely pressured to go to these meetings. I know they say there are some perks for doing it but then I just found out there aren't any perks at all. The water heater isn't even big enough to fill up the jacuzzi bathtub 1 time. Water turns cold before the level gets up to the jets. No elevator. I looked around the room for this sales meeting and there is no one under 50 years old. I just had spinal surgery 10 months ago. I checked in late around 11pm. I was stuck carrying a 52 lbs suitcase up and down the stairs because there is no elevator or even a stairs bypass path. I do believe that is an ADA violation. On previous trips to Branson (I come here regularly because I have family that live near by) I was put at The Falls which was very nice. This Worldmark property is a downgrade compared to The Falls even though I was told that this place is supposed to be better. It's not. And last... DO NOT let this place scam you into attending their sales meeting with the offer of a free week vacation. The offer is complete trash. 99% of the available locations have an upgrading fee. Out of curiosity I searched for a hotel in my area that was covered by the "free week vacation" offer. The upgrade fee was $1219.99 for specific 7 days the offer stated it was valid for. I then did a regular online search for the same place using the same days in the offer and found it was $861. Where is the free week vacation if it costs roughly $350 more to use the free week offer than just booking online directly?
