Our stay was amazing. We toured through Branson ,mo. Enjoyed our stay and family time. I would definitely use monster reservations again to book our stay at the resort. This lodging was the wife's pick and I have to say, she did a great job. Check in was a breeze, the unit was clean, and inviting. It was stocked with enough staples to last approximately a week for two people. It was cozy, had a washer dryer unit in it, a small kitchen, and a balcony with a view of the pool. We could tell during our stay that Spinnaker takes good care of the property, unlike some of the neighboring properties in town that have fallen on hard times. Our stay was in April and it was so quiet and relaxing and close to everything. The only mystery that needed solving was were to put trash. There is a trash container on your level by one set of stairs which was convenient. They also have elevator available for those that have trouble with stairs. I did notice one morning that someone in neighboring unit cooked bacon for breakfast which smelled great in my room, but I could understand that being an issue if you were vegan. The only small annoyance I had with the room at all was that the shower insert had no type of ledge to put your foot on if needed; but that is pretty minor and most likely personal preference. The bed was wonderful to sleep in. Check out was easy peasy, I would definitely stay at this property again. read more

Very mixed reviews on this 'resort'.... The good: The location is great. Close and convenient to all the Branson action. Our 3 BR/3 BA unit, which was really a 2/2 with another 1/1 accessible via kickoff, was large, spacious, and comfortable. This was in building one. Unlike some other reviews, the furniture seemed new, fresh, and comfortable. TVs were newer models rather than the older box type others have reported. Also, staff were very nice. The bad: Overall construction design in the master is bad. There's no door separating the bathroom from the bed area or even the toilet from the rest of the bathroom. It's freezing when you get out of the shower, there's no privacy at all, and forget trying to do anything in the bathroom without waking up anyone else in that room. While most furniture was good, the beds were hard as rocks. Terrible uncomfortable. Nobody in the three beds really got a good night's sleep. I spend upwards of 100 nights/year in hotels, and this was a terrible bed. Also, calling this RCI property a gold crown because of amenities is a joke. There's lots of activities. You just have to go to their sister property four miles away to get to them. The fitness center is just two older machines crammed into a little, dark room by the pool. We also had a terrible ladybug infestation in our bedroom. They were everywhere. Guessing it's a known issue because they were all over the place outside, both dead and alive. read more

My husband and I had a really nice stay here--the apartment was very well appointed, and in an excellent location. We appreciated that the kitchen was well-equipped with a full-sized fridge, and the washer and dryer helped a ton. The bed was comfortable, and the Fitness Center was nice. The only reason we didn't give five stars is that the layout of the apartment makes for a lot of noise. The bedroom is at the front, bordering the hallway, and the walls are pretty thin, so it's hard to keep noise out. The staff kindly ended up moving us up to the fourth floor because it was so loud being on the third, and it was much better (although we could still definitely hear the family staying next to us.) The only other suggestion I have is to give guests some sort of tornado guidance. The tornado sirens went off during a terrible storm one night, and when I called the front desk, the woman just told me to "seek shelter." When I pressed her for where that would be, and what that meant, she didn't provide me with any guidance other than suggesting we go down to the first floor. (Not super helpful since we were staying on the 4th.) All-in-all, I would still recommend this place, just be sure you have a tornado plan and stay on the top floor! ;) read more

A little small, but served its purpose. Wanted a get a way place and this was it. Went 2 days without a coffee maker and a toaster, but they did finally replace them. Hopefully the next tenants made good use of them. The TV's definitely need to be updated. read more

When we arrived to check into Spinnaker Resorts, we were told to check in at the Palace View Resort. When we arrived, we were immediately told our reservation was for French Quarter. When asked why, we were told that's where the reservation center assigned us. When I showed them my confirmation, we were told we couldn't stay and had to go to French Quarter. Not happy with the sudden change and no reason for the change, we proceeded to French Quarter Resort. Upon arriving to the room after check in, the room had a foul odor. Then I noticed fruit flies and houseflies all over the room. I was able to eradicate most of the flying pests myself. However, I was unaware of the spiders in the room until I was bit by one. I ended up killing 2 good sized spiders after the bite. Moving on to the rest of the room, it certainly appeared housekeeping took the day off. This is a list of things wrong with the room. Hair on the master bath sink and on the toilet seat. Master bath shower floor was filthy. In the secondary bath there was toilet bowl cleaner left in the toilet. The hot water faucet handle was broke. In the master bedroom, there was no dresser for clothes, only 2 small nightstands. A hanger was missing. In the general area of the room, there was grass all over the counter (barstool) seats, abd the tile floor in the entryway and kitchen was severly cracked. Tile was also cracked in the second bath. In the kitchen, the stove grate were filthy and the coffee pot was also very dirty. For the first day we kept hearing an annoying beeping sound. Finally figured out the dishwasher was beeping. When my great granddaughter was crawling around on the carpet, her feet turned black. The carpet hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. When I went to the manager, she seemed uninterested but said she would send someone in to clean and spray for bugs. We had to decline because of the baby in the room, but nothing else was said. It was very apparent, she didn't care. When we went to our scheduled tour of the properties, we were told that French Quarter wasn't a Spinnaker property, but everything in the room showed the name Spinnaker. We were told we would receive a credit on the money we spent, but we have yet to have seen the refund. There was one shining light though and that was the swimming pool area. Very nice. 2 pools, one specifically for kids and then a deeper pool for everyone. 2 Hot Tubs and a playground, shuffleboard games, ping pong and BBQ grills. Spinnaker has done nothing to win me over and I will never stay at a Spinnaker Resort in the future. read more

Would have left a 1 star review, but two factors are BIG +1s for me: The Pool & the Location. The pool and hot tub area are AMAZING. There were two separate areas... a kiddie pool with splash area, as well as a huge pool with two separate hot tubs (complete with shade canopies). Lots of lounge chairs, and tables with umbrellas are available as well as two gas grills. The only towels available for pool use were little ones though (a little bigger than hand towel size) so bring your own! The one bedroom we stayed in was of average to small size. It was clean and everything was functional. Once we popped out the sofabed though it was downright tiny. Sadly the sofabed was the worst I've ever slept on. I wish I had brought my airbed from home! Management switched out the sofabed mattress on our 2nd night but that made no difference at all. Vacations are tough when you can't sleep. read more

My wife and I booked this place through a time share for a week long vacation in mid December 2018. These are basically condo's which are rented out. Our single bed room basically looked like a very small apartment, which is more than enough for 7 days and two people. We arrived late, but the front desk was still open, as promised. We got our keys and quickly took ourselves and luggage up to the room. Only find the room hadn't been cleaned at all. After killing a bunch of time getting a new room, we finally settled in. Fortunately, they did upgrade our bed at no charge. We found that the bedroom had an old-school tube television and the living room featured a small 32" LCD TV. The front desk said they'd try to swap out the tube TV for a flat panel, while warning this was subject to availability. We never heard back, nor was the TV ever replaced. And to be honest, we didn't care. It would the same that we already had, and one tiny TV is enough. Starting with the bedroom, it was just barely large enough for the king size bed. Featuring only one night stand and a small closet. The bed was on the firm side and not super comfortable. My wife got very little good sleep during our stay. The bathroom has two doors, one to the bedroom, one for the hallway entrance. It had the usual things a bathroom does. Small sink area, average sized bathtub+shower combo. And a toilet. The living room area is shared with dining and kitchen. "Open concept," if you will. There's a couch for 3, another for a single, 4-person dinning, and a compact kitchen. The kitchen did feature a full size refrigerator, compact dish washer, half stove, and a normal size microwave. Directly to the right is the laundry area, which nice. The small closet featured the expected small washer and dryer combo. They also had a balcony, with a view of the close pool. It's winter time, no surprises there. The negatives are more mundane things, such as the need to do your own laundry, take our your trash, do the dishes, etc. Sure, you can pay a hefty fee for housekeeping, and they'll do it for you. They naturally encourage you do this yourself. Even when you leave, they expect you to start the dish washer, put all linens in a single local, set thermostat, etc. They're minor things, but when you're on vacation, and it's unexpected... you get the idea. We spent the final 8th day our of vacation in a Best Western in another state, on the way home. And to be honest, we found it a more desirable stay. More comfortable and more "vacation." Unless you need the condo-like amenities in-room, you might be better served elsewhere. If you do, and don't mind a firm bed + kid-sized television, it's an OK option. read more

It's on one of the main streets in Branson, close to the butterfly garden and the little zoo in town, so good location. It's a little dated, but certainly nothing to complain about. We really liked the bed, the enormous bathroom, comfy living room, and well appointed kitchen. The circular stairway is a head bump waiting to happen, so be aware. The two of us were in a three bedroom, so we had tons of space. It was February, so we didn't make use of any onsite amenities, but there's a pool that looked like it would be great in the summer. We walked to some places, but did most of our exploring by car, the "Landing" is about 5 miles down the road, just beyond a 1960's looking downtown area. Recommended. Far better than a hotel room, and friendly staff. read more

The staff is wonderful. The resort is dated and needs updating. Beds are not so comfortable and definitely could use some new pillows. We had 2 units and they both smelled not so great. The bathroom is also right next to the master so if you are sharing the room be prepared to be woken up every time someone uses the bathroom. The grounds are very well kept and they keep the property clean. read more

Disappointing- We stayed at French Quarter Bldg 1. The unit was very small, bed very uncomfortable, and old furniture in the unit. Kitchen wasn't well stocked either. No one usually working the desk in the lobby. A plus is that it is in a good location on Hwy 76. read more

It's 2019 and for there not to be a single flat screen in the place, or at least have TVs with HDMI ports, is absolutely unacceptable. We brought along a fire stick for watching movies but theses TVs are absolute dinosaurs, and the picture quality is terrible. VERY disappointing read more

The condos are very nice and elegant and are furnished with nice furniture, etc. The outdoor amenities are nice in the summer but they offer very little in the winter months (only an indoor billiards table). Of the several resorts I've stayed at in Branson, I would put French Quarters somewhere in the middle. read more

I would be very cautious about doing a discounted trip with Spinnaker, and especially a timeshare. I booked a discounted stay with them over a year ago. The amount of phone calls I have had to place in order to confirm the details of the stay has been insane. They have representatives all over the country and each bit of information I got from each representative was different and always contradicting. The wait time to talk to anyone is crazy. I get & understand that with the pandemic there are going to be hiccups in customer service, however I was waiting an hour at a time to talk to someone. I had several instances where the call would be disconnected and I would have to call back to be placed in line again. Regarding the layout, I was told two different things to find the layout was not what we were expecting. Apparently the code "L" means "lockout" at some resorts but means "loft" only for Branson. Everyone we had talked to before the week of did not realize this. Until the week of our stay we were told we had a 2brd villa with a lock-out to find out it was 2brd with a loft. The villa turned out to be nice and had plenty of room despite the misinformation. However, on the second night of our stay, we came back after a very long and hot day at Silver Dollar City to find our air-conditioning was out. After several hours of the very nice maintenance guy trying to fix, we had to move our group of 8 to a downstairs unit two floors down with little notice at nearly 10pm. The unit we were given was a downgrade and we lost the loft space we reserved and paid for. The young lady at the front desk did send us sheets and blankets so we could make make-shift beds on the floor. Also, we booked as a large party and my in-laws had reserved a space identical to ours. Their unit had trouble with doors not locking and also with the fridge and ice maker not working. The third morning, the AC was fixed and we were able to move back up to our original villa for the third night. Between moving everything and everyone, our group was not really in the mood for a sales presentation or the fake "getting to know you" questions that anyone could expect with a timeshare piece at our 9am meeting. I decided to express our complaints. I stated we'd do our required time, but honestly not caring at this point about doing the whole charade of answering fake questions pretending to "get to know us". I was told I just need to "see" the actual owner units because "they're way better" than the promotional units we were staying in. Something about the "type of people" that do the promotional stays. I responded by telling them that anything can look "nice", just like our villa had looked "nice" until we actually stayed. I stated that between all the miscommunication and misinformation that we had experienced, it would be foolish to invest in company $40,000 of mine and my husband's hard earned money for something that "looked nice". I was then told that in anycase we were to stay for the entire meeting, which I fully expected to get the additional promotional material - a $100 check and $100 worth of food certificates. However, I was told it could be a 90 - 120 minute meeting at that time... 120 minutes is not what I signed up for. So at this time I felt like this could be a threat as they were noticeably annoyed by us at this point. Nonetheless, after the group presentation we were allowed to write a statement about our experience so a manager could call us and then allowed to leave around the hour mark. We got our promotional "gifts". Which turned out to be a $50 check instead of the $100 I was promised (on every phone call, on every email, and even when I checked-in). I didn't realize this until we got to the parking lot, but both my husband and I decided at that point we were so over it that we didn't wanna deal with it anymore and just left. When trying to use the promotional "certificates" worth $25 each for a total of $100 in free food we realized that no restaurant in Branson accepted these and the restaurants that did had certain stipulations on use. For example, they only accepted a certain amount (like $5 or $10 of the $25 certificate) and once you used a $25 certificate at a place that certificate was null and void. Meaning if we went to a restaurant and they only accepted $5 of the $25, the rest of the $20 was forfeited. So, in summary, the idea is great, but again, another promise unfulfilled. Also, I was told I could expect a phone call from a manager to discuss our stay and concerns so that I could help them better, but I haven't received any calls from anyone from this company in regards to our downgrade nor our complaints or concerns. In summary, book if you will, but just beware that everything they promise promotional-wise is full of misleading information and let-downs. I've worked in costumer service environments my entire working life, and would never book and invest in a company that is so disorganized. read more
