A little small, but served its purpose. Wanted a get a way place and this was it. Went 2 days without a coffee maker and a toaster, but they did finally replace them. Hopefully the next tenants made good use of them. The TV's definitely need to be updated.

It's on one of the main streets in Branson, close to the butterfly garden and the little zoo in town, so good location. It's a little dated, but certainly nothing to complain about. We really liked the bed, the enormous bathroom, comfy living room, and well appointed kitchen. The circular stairway is a head bump waiting to happen, so be aware. The two of us were in a three bedroom, so we had tons of space. It was February, so we didn't make use of any onsite amenities, but there's a pool that looked like it would be great in the summer. We walked to some places, but did most of our exploring by car, the "Landing" is about 5 miles down the road, just beyond a 1960's looking downtown area. Recommended. Far better than a hotel room, and friendly staff.

    Dinosaurs for TVs

It's 2019 and for there not to be a single flat screen in the place, or at least have TVs with HDMI ports, is absolutely unacceptable. We brought along a fire stick for watching movies but theses TVs are absolute dinosaurs, and the picture quality is terrible. VERY disappointing

We appreciated that the kitchen was well-equipped with a full-sized fridge, and the washer and dryer helped a ton.

From the moment we arrived, the property felt peaceful, secluded, and absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views of Table Rock Lake all around us. The scenery alone made the stay feel special. Our accommodations at Long Creek were cozy, spacious, and beautifully designed. I loved how it had that upscale cabin feel--rustic and charming while still feeling comfortable and modern. The bed was very comfortable, the space felt clean and inviting, and waking up to the quiet lake atmosphere was incredibly relaxing. One of the best parts of staying at Long Creek was the privacy. It felt more peaceful than the main lodge, making it perfect if you want a quiet getaway while still having access to all the amazing amenities at Big Cedar. The pool area was gorgeous and relaxing, and being so close to the marina made lake activities super convenient. Whether you're traveling as a couple, with family, or even for a group trip, there's plenty to enjoy. Guests often highlight the privacy and scenic setting as major perks.

But there's not a free continental breakfast which was a little disappointing. There are places to eat at but they're kinda expensive. There are different names of lodges and the one we stayed at was seemed like it needs a few updates? There's a cool place for kids called Fun Mountain. A few things are included with your stay but others are not free. Along the property, there are many pools and a swim beach, mini golf, pickle ball, shuffle board and beach volley ball. It is a huge place and there are shuttles. It can be confusing at first. They gave a gift shop of course with a lot of stuff to see. You can go on paddle boats or kayak too.

They have awesome kids pools, but they were all closed for maintenance. There is however a fairly small but nice playground that our 2yr old grandson thoroughly enjoyed. Our house had A/C issues, it never did get down to the low 70's which we set it for despite being a fairly mild weekend. The whole family got a kick out of the watching the ground hogs which are everywhere! We saw very little of the staff which seemed odd but not a problem, and they were very friendly. With the closest lake access being a couple minutes driving distance, and the closest beach being even further, the pool not working left us very little to do on site. If you do go to the beach, be aware that the entry line is insanely slow and chaotic. People yelling at each other and a police presence, After about 10 minutes in line, we along with several other vehicles left without ever getting in. I suspect the earlier you go the better chance you have.

I showed up to check in and while i was in line I overheard the people in line beside me. They were surprised and happy that they had only booked a 2 bedroom and they were given a 4 bedroom. When I came up to check in they told me that I had booked a 2 bedroom and that they were out of 4 bedroom units. That's not possible because they have limits on how many people are allowed to book a 2 bedroom unit. I went out and got my phone and showed them the reservation that clearly showed my reservation for my family of 7 that was booked for a 4 bedroom. They told me they had none left. I asked them if we could get two 2 bedrooms and switch to a 4 bedroom when one became available. They said they would have one available 2 days later and we waited 20 minutes for them to get it straightened out. They assured us that they would put priority on getting our place ready first thing Sunday so we could get moved early in the day. I also asked if we could have a restaurant voucher for our trouble. They gave us a $60 voucher for 7 people that didn't even cover 5 of us and had an 18% gratuity automatically added. Our cottage wasn't ready early as promised so we decided to go swim while waiting. When our room was finally ready Sunday afternoon we all packed up and left the pool, picked up our cards from the office and went to move our stuff only to find out that they had already deactivated our cards at the first cottages. We had to go back to the office where we were gaslit again. They told us they didn't deactivate the cards and we must have accidently de magnetized our cards. All 3 cards! Yeah right! When we got home I called to try to get a partial refund and was told to call Expedia. They lied and told Expedia that I booked a 2 bedroom and denied my request and made a big deal that they compensated me with the $60 restaurant coupon. Expedia had my booking right in front of them and didn't even fight for me. This was the first time in 11 years that were able to take a family vacation and our first vacation ever with our grandkids. Our daughter has an illness that limits her ability to travel and we had this small window of time to all be together and our first 2 nights together were taken from us. As much as we paid for this place I expected to get what I paid for and not to be gaslit and treated so poorly. The place was otherwise nice and we would have come back but after this, NOT A CHANCE!

The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. We enjoyed evenings on the balcony overlooking the pool area and stream. This is not the closest thing to the strip but not that far either. I found a barbecue place just minutes away called Danna's which is very hometown and where the locals go, but a definite Branson must! We enjoyed the in-room two person hotel tub and the spaciousness of the larger room. We found there was normally someone waiting when the elevator door opened and that could be a challenge for the in season time. The staff was very helpful and even kept a guitar for us so we could check out and still enjoy a morning music show before heading back home to the STL metro area. I would go 5* but not a huge vacation crowd fan and this place will be jammed in season. So go in the less popular times and enjoy a very high quality stay!

They also have a restaurant on site along with a marketplace for basics, snacks, and ice cream, which is super convenient. Where it falls short is the rooms. They are very outdated and definitely need some maintenance. Cleanliness was also an issue for me--I ended up cleaning the bathroom myself before using it, which is not something you want to deal with on vacation. For amenities, 5 stars. This was alarming and completely unacceptable. We immediately contacted the help desk around 11:30 p.m. to report the issue. Unfortunately, we were told there was nothing they could do at that time and that a manager would be emailed. No alternative accommodations, inspection, or immediate assistance was offered. Because of this, we felt we had no choice but to cut our trip short. We were staying with family and friends and had activities planned for another full day, all of which had to be canceled. This was especially frustrating and disappointing right before Christmas. A situation like this should be handled with urgency and care.
