    2nd bedroom

These villas were wonderful. Me and 3 other individuals stayed in a 2 bedroom villa. 2 beds and 1 sofa bed. The decor was simple but stylish and the place came with the bare necessities. The bed were very comfortable! My only negative is the 2nd bathroom had a shower but did not have any shelving to store soap or shampoo. I ended up having to put body wash on my shower sponge before stepping into the shower...not good.

Dead bug, hair, dust, stains, and scuffs on windowsill

I will start with the pros. The location is great if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. There was a very pretty view of the mountains from our unit. The employees were polite in our interactions. The unit was a comfortable size for our family of 6. It was helpful having a washer and dryer. The unit, however, had some very dirty aspects, the worst of which was a fresh blood stain on a pillow and a white crusty substance on the blanket of the guest room. There were stains that looked like coffee or soda on the throw pillows. There was also hair in the sheets of the guest bedroom, and hair throughout the master bathroom. A couple of pieces of trash and a sock were left behind from a previous guest. There were a few dead bugs throughout the room as well as a live decent-sized spider on the master bed when we first arrived. One minor inconvenience is that we were not initially supplied with enough towels and washcloths. We were given 5 sets when our reservation was for 6, but the office staff was helpful and generous in giving extra towels, as well as switching out dirty towels for clean ones as needed. Bath soap, shampoo, and toilet paper supplies were stingy. We were supplied with a package of coffee, but no starter pack of sugar/creamer for our first morning. The most critical issue was the lack of sleep that we got at this resort. Our first night there was fine. The second night, the people above us stomped around and dragged chairs across the floors until the wee hours of the morning. Additionally, they went onto their balcony several times from 1AM-5AM and howled like wolves and laughed repeatedly. The second night, they were doing what sounded like Karaoke and the stomping and chair dragging was completely out of control. I called the emergency number sometime after 11 PM, because my children kept being woken up. Josh answered and apologized for the inconvenience. He said he'd call and ask them to quiet down. They did not answer their phones, so my husband demanded that the police be called out. At this point it was close to midnight. The police came out and spoke to them. They lied to the police and said it was the unit above them on the night before, and "said" they'd quiet down. The police left sometime around 12:45 AM, and they continued to stomp around drag the chairs, as well as do something that sounded like dribbling a basketball until 2 AM. They were back up and at it again at 6 AM. On our final night there, the people quieted down around 11:30 PM. I suppose they finally wore themselves out. So much for the 10PM-8AM "Quiet Hours" contract that you sign at check-in. Basically, there is no support located on the premises after 8PM and there are no landlines in the rooms, so if you have an issue like this you're pretty much on your own. I really wanted to like this place, but it was truly a disappointment.

Very peaceful quite resort....worth staying....beautiful hilltop views.. My wife and I love to be in exclusive, calm, quiet, remote locations and found that this place and it's surroundings has a lot to offer.....expect to walk into your room/house to be surprised at how nice at at home it makes you feel....Resort is very clean well maintained. ..what you would and should expect from a visitors point of view. ....

This is the balcony view from the Penthouse Building C. So nice in the morning with a hot cup o' Joe.

Our fireplace wood was stocked daily, the roads were salted and plowed and a crew even showed up to shovel our walk! The Christmas lights were still up and beautiful in the snow. The whole family got a kick out of the watching the ground hogs which are everywhere! We saw very little of the staff which seemed odd but not a problem, and they were very friendly. With the closest lake access being a couple minutes driving distance, and the closest beach being even further, the pool not working left us very little to do on site. If you do go to the beach, be aware that the entry line is insanely slow and chaotic. People yelling at each other and a police presence, After about 10 minutes in line, we along with several other vehicles left without ever getting in. They also have a restaurant on site along with a marketplace for basics, snacks, and ice cream, which is super convenient. Where it falls short is the rooms. They are very outdated and definitely need some maintenance. Cleanliness was also an issue for me--I ended up cleaning the bathroom myself before using it, which is not something you want to deal with on vacation. For amenities, 5 stars. I had to go to Walmart the first morning I was there to buy a 24" tv and set it up on the coffee table for the weekend. They claim that the sales meetings aren't pressured but in reality you are absolutely pressured to go to these meetings. I know they say there are some perks for doing it but then I just found out there aren't any perks at all. The water heater isn't even big enough to fill up the jacuzzi bathtub 1 time. Water turns cold before the level gets up to the jets. No elevator. I looked around the room for this sales meeting and there is no one under 50 years old. I just had spinal surgery 10 months ago. I checked in late around 11pm. I was stuck carrying a 52 lbs suitcase up and down the stairs because there is no elevator or even a stairs bypass path. I do believe that is an ADA violation. On previous trips to Branson (I come here regularly because I have family that live near by) I was put at The Falls which was very nice. This Worldmark property is a downgrade compared to The Falls even though I was told that this place is supposed to be better. It's not. And last... DO NOT let this place scam you into attending their sales meeting with the offer of a free week vacation. The offer is complete trash. 99% of the available locations have an upgrading fee. Out of curiosity I searched for a hotel in my area that was covered by the "free week vacation" offer. The upgrade fee was $1219.99 for specific 7 days the offer stated it was valid for. I then did a regular online search for the same place using the same days in the offer and found it was $861. Where is the free week vacation if it costs roughly $350 more to use the free week offer than just booking online directly?
