Wow has this place gone down the crapper. Seriously bad dinner last night with fish and chips for my wife and fried shrimp with old bay seasoning on french fries. Corn kernels in cole slaw and pink tarter sauce. Server tried her best and really felt sorry for her since she was under-trained. The fish was about 1/4 of an inch think with at least twice that much breading. Came out luke warm and hard as a rock. My wife's fries were over salted and mediocre at best. My fries were cold and I wondered where was the old bay? Shrimp were okay. $3.50 for a soda. If there is a next time, think I'll stick to a burger. Sixty bucks including tip flushed down the afore mentioned crapper. read more

This was an amazing diner. When we entered, there were about 15 people in the waiting area but we only waited about 10-15 minutes. It was a Saturday at around 11:30am. Our server Rayan was so friendly and knowledgable, my husband and I really loved him! He informed us that all the meat comes from within 400 miles and the produce is all grown in NJ. Very nice to be informed about that since we're from out-of-state. Walking through the restaurant to our table, I saw someone with waffles that looked AMAZING, among many other dishes . We ordered the cheese fries with bacon & scallions and omg they were so good. It came with a chipotle style ranch dip & that really set the fries off! Hubby had meatloaf and it looked good and he said it was fantastic. I had the tuna avacado sandwich which tasted so fresh and yummy. Sadly, I was unable to finish it due to the indulgence of the cheese fries. This place is great. The old school juke boxes are a cute touch. read more

My family and I decided to come here for dinner. I am always on the lookout for restaurants with vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. Silver Diner was one of those places. Not a great deal of options, but some. It has a very pleasant 50's, retro vibe. It even has the old jukebox players on each table. It was nice having oldies playing while we ate :) We were seated right away. Our waitress (Zyarah) was so nice and friendly. Since it was our first time there, she helped us decide on the best options. We decided on the hot wings for a appetizer. They were ok :/ , could have been a little bigger, but the taste was pretty good. My husband got the flat iron steak, mashed potatoes, onion straws and garlic spinach. One daughter got the Miso vegan burger, chili soup and a Hibiscus Mango soy shake. She said the shake was delicious! My other daughter got meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and vegetables. I got the crab cakes, French fries, and Coleslaw. The crab cakes were really good, but the coleslaw was dry! All the meals come with either soup or salad. The food was good and satisfying, but all in all ...........diner food. I would go back if I'm in the neighborhood, but would not go out my way. Shout out to our waitress (Zyarah)! She is a beautiful young woman that made our visit special. read more

Diners in Jersey, especially on a weekend get packed. Once you know and understand this, you'll be fine. Our party arrived and was given about a half hour wait. The front waiting area was bit a crowded, but easy enough to move around to let folks out the door. The delicious smells coming from the kitchen kept everyone's ears perked up just in case you were next! The restaurant looked clean, there's plenty of parking spaces and it's an easy location to get to. On each table there's a cute little jukebox in case you need to hear a favorite jam. Menu looked great, lots of options without going overboard, and even some healthy ones too. I did my whole sweet & savory thing for breakfast and went with eggs, porkroll and a waffle. Excellent waffle. It had a nice crispy outside, fluffy inside, and I slathered on a good amount of butter & syrup just for the heck of it. My over-easy eggs could have maybe cooked a minute longer, but were good and the pork roll was as it should be. My guy enjoyed his chocolate chip pancakes with scrambled eggs on the side, while his Dad had a BLT. All plates looked great. I was told this diner could be described as 'Boujee', which I would look at as a compliment. Will I be back? Absolutely. So much more on the menu to try out. read more

We came here again on a Friday for lunch and the place was packed! We ordered a fiery chicken burger, baja fish tacos, and a nutella and banana milkshake. The fiery chicken burger, which came with mango salsa and wasabi sour cream, was a delight to eat. The two large pieces of fried chicken were doused with spicy-sweet salsa, and the wasabi provided a surprising kick. The mashed potatoes I got on the side tasted better than they looked. The coleslaw was dry and the only disappointing part of the dish. The baja fish tacos were okay, but kind of monotonous. I felt that they could have been more flavorful if there were a spice component. Though the milkshake was made with frozen bananas, the consistency was relatively smooth and there were no chunks of banana. Our waitress was very nice and checked on us the perfect number of times (in my opinion, as a former diner waitress). Overall, our experience this time was not as mind-blowing as our first time, but it was still a very solid meal. read more

My family and I have enjoyed many meals at This Fine Diner. I cannot express enough how amazing the food, service and atmosphere are every time! I usually order the triple fried pickle sandwich with the Campfire shake and OMGGGGG it's amazing. I hate diners. Correction. I hated diners until today. Yea, I know. Why would you hate a diner? They have huge menus with so many options! Well they may have options, but I typically find that the quality of the food is crap, the decor is dingy and the staff has one foot in the grave. But I'm not talking about other diners right now. I'm talking about this diner. Thanks to hundreds of positive Yelp reviews, I decided to head over with my family for some brunch the day after Christmas. When we arrived, I was surprised to see lot of servers and an almost full restaurant. All of the servers were probably teenagers or close to it. We were greeted quickly by Michael, a very helpful and friendly server with a tiny silver nose ring. We got a few options. An omelette, eggs, bacon, coffees, potatoes, biscuits and French toast. Everyone had great things to say. Especially me. I didn't even search for a gluten free restaurant, and this place delivered. They had gluten free pancakes, French toast and bread. I got the French toast with eggs and bacon. The French toast was so damn yummy and the eggs were perfectly cooked over easy. There were only 2 slices of bacon, but they were crispy and hot so I'm not complaining. Michael came by a few times to check on us, and the overall atmosphere felt clean, happy and accommodating. If I'm ever in the area, I would definitely stop by this place again. Good work friends! read more

Cute diner! The retro diner touch was the best part! I came here late on a Friday night and my party and i wee seated and greeted immediately. Our waiter was super friendly and helped me pick which vegan/vegetarian option i would like best. My friend enjoyed a "more then average" burger that was advertised as lean and healthy. I went with the vegetable club since all the other options sounded bland. I also HAD TO try the chunky monkey milkshake since it looked so good in the picture. I definitely ordered more then i was prepared for. The shake was delicious and i probably could have had that as my meal (if I'm being honest). The sandwich was ok and the combinations of vegetables was interesting. Not sure I'll be back since the menu didn't have TOO many appetizing vegetarian options.. however, if you're a normal omnivorous diner goer this place has a lot of options that sound pretty good. read more

I know it's called "silver diner," but they really go for the gold - with an epic menu full of interesting, delicious, and special diet foods. The husband and I love coming here. As a gluten free foodie, it can be hard finding the things you used to love to eat. Many meals can be made gluten free - either by swapping out breads or omitting certain ingredients. The menu is clearly marked, which helps. Their bruschetta is lovely! Pesto, sunflower seeds, tomato, goat cheese, and basil. It was a real treat! They also accommodated us by making my half gluten free and the husbands half gluten full. I got the turkey platter, which was a little platter of thanksgiving goodness - roast turkey, toasted bread, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and a boatload of gravy. The roast turkey was a bit dry and boring, but all in all it was a filling comforting meal. I also loved the cranberry sauce which had a bit of ginger. If you're a first timer, try the burgers! My husband built a burger with Sambal sauce and bacon. I took a bite of his food and it was so so good. The meat was so juicy and flavorful - perfectly cooked medium rare. Next time I'm definitely going with a burger. read more

Lamb Merguez Shakshuka on the seasonal brunch menu was off the charts! We always have good food here but this was exceptional!

Excellent brunch options and perfectly served up. Very clean and accommodating, with pleasant servers. We'll be back!

I went to silver thinking it was going to be a regular diner, and I was blown away. Silver Diner has cool fifty's look to it when you walk in and when you get to your table they have little juke boxes on the table. The food was great, they have a lot of healthy options and I believe they even have vegan options. My wife and I both order burgers and they were amazing, immediately on the first bite you can taste the freshness of the burger. The burger was super juicy and delicious. The fries were also amazing My wife's burger was little undercook, she likes no pink at all on her burger, so we sent it back. The manager and the server were super kind about it, great hospitality. I will definitely be back read more

Dont let the outside fool you into thinking this is just some greasy spoon. While it looks like an oldschool Jersey diner, the menu is modern and the concept behind their food focuses on locally sourced, organic ingredients that's sure to please the meat and potatoes crowd all the way to plant based and vegan crowd. On this trip we went for brunch. I had the pickle brined fried chicken and waffle and my wife had the cheese steak omelet. What was delightful about the chicken and pecan waffle was the variety of accompanyments that came with it. There was sausage gravy, syrup, and a pepper jam. The gravy was light and packed full of flavor (not grity or overly salty), the pepper jam was sweet, spicy and had herbal/floral notes, and the hot syrup was just syrup (nothing wrong with that though). The omelet was about average but was huge and and also came with the pepper jam. I definately want to come back to try their dinner menu. I came here maybe 5+ years ago and had a lamb burger that I remember had a few delicious twists to it, but being younger I didnt truly appreciate the concept or the menu. read more

I am not impressed with this place we waited forever for our food. at least 45 mins. almost a half hour later we were offered bread. the butter was just hard and not real spreadable. My guests and I are still waiting for our food as i write this review. I will never come back here. read more

We love the Silver Diner! Besides the great food options and clean restaurant, we always feel very welcome and cared for even when we have a server we are unfamiliar with. If you're into healthy alternatives or cutting calories, this is the spot for you! However if you're looking for a go-to diner with greasy eats this isn't it. The menu is more restaurant like then a classic diner. Our waiter was very hospitable and funny (which is why we didn't leave after looking at the menu). I'd recommend the Rueben, it was amazing, very tasty and perfectly cut meat. The Vegetable Chili was surprisingly really tasty as well! Was a good experience but we probably won't be back. read more

I love this place! I cannot express enough how good the food and service is always great! Fred, who is the restaurant's operator is personable and his staff follows his lead. I was in for a treat. First off, I was completely thrown off at the selection of food on the menu that I was actually able to eat. I was in the middle of a stricter diet and I was craving both salty and sweet. I got a short stack of quinoa pancakes plus the avacado toast and eggs. They accidently had forgot to place in my quinoa pancakes and by the time that I asked them for it, it was a little late. But the service is absolutely superb, so they comped it and said, "It's on us since we put it in late." I was pleasantly surprised! Againc quality service and quality food with incredibly healthy choices ! read more

Just don't bother. Find a local diner instead of a chain. It smelled terrible and the food was a waste of time and money.

Yet another time I wish that Yelp! would give a 1/2 star option because I would like to give the Silver Diner 3.5 stars. This is really not a typical diner, it's not really fine dining either. It is somewhere in between. Silver Diner offers a lot of healthy choices and low-calorie items and also vegetarian fare. It also admirable that they try to use local ingredients and farms and suppliers. The menu isn't as voluminous as a regular NJ diner, but there is a good selection of options and this helps keeps the food quality consistent. We have been here a few times and everything has always been very good, tasted fresh and the service also has been terrific. On this night we had the grilled salmon and the bison Juevos Rancheros. Both dishes were very good and just the right size. We also shared a blueberry ginger milkshake which is $6.95 but it's enough for two people. The prices at Silver Diner are pretty reasonable also, especially for the quality of the food. We also had a bread pudding dessert that was excellent. The Silver Diner is a great alternative to some of the restaurants at the Cherry Hill Mall or the food court, and it's usually not as crowded as some of the big box restaurants there. read more

The Silver Diner is one of my go to breakfast spots. It's close, has ample parking, lots of seating, a big menu with local food and great customer service. There are a variety of breakfast specials on the menu, and I've loved everything I've tried so far. My personal favorite: the porkroll and egg sandwich. Silver Diner is located right on 38 and sits in the same shopping area as Target, PetSmart and Khol's. Silver Diner often hosts different events at their venue like car shows and school fundraisers. read more

The Silver Diner is a steel, glass and neon retro-style diner that stands magnificently on a hill overlooking NJ Route 38. "Diner" is really a misnomer that doesn't do justice to the unusual, eclectic menu offered here. Our food was plentiful and excellent. Two of us started with the most magnificent Crispy Fried Brussels Sprouts, followed by the Warm Roasted Local Veggie Salad with Grilled Chicken and finished with the Home-style Bread Pudding. We each got our own salad, but shared both the appetizer and the dessert and still ended up taking food home for the next day. I'm still thinking to make a return trip to the Silver DIner. If you are not in the mood for the unusual, burgers, fries, chicken fingers, shakes and all the usual suspects are also available. The menu lists a decent variety of what they call "Healthier Selections." These are accompanied by nutritional information (calories, sodium, carbohydrates, etc.). They thoughtfully don't include this information for the regular menu read more

The food was great. Service was fast. Our server Andres was so polite and he was constantly checking on us and will bring water refills without us having to ask. If I could give this Silver Diner 6 stars, I would. With so many Diners in Burlington county closing, it's so nice to know we have the Silver Diner close enough to us with great food and service, all reasonably priced. They change their menus from time to time, and alway have fantastic meal choices. We went for my wife's birthday dinner, knowing we've always had a good meal there and tried the new menu items of Pasta with crabmeat, and grilled scallops. The flavors were unbeatable, and exceeded the food quality and flavors of many high end restaraunts. Their menus are extensive with very healthy menu choices. The manager, Shawn, visited our table. We were very happy he visited with us, and we easily shared our comments directly to him. Our server, Adrienne, was also great and very attentive, timing our dessert perfectly. Fantastic coffee too! If you are looking for a GREAT meal, at very reasonable prices, you won't go wrong with the Cherry Hill Silver Diner, just across from the Cherry Hill Mall. Great service, food, and fun diner atmosphere...what more do you need! read more

This is my go to diner on my way back home after having long nights in Philly. Great place to carb up. You can usually get a table here on a Saturday or Sunday without having to wait which is a plus. Restaurant is clean and the servers have been friendly. A little on the pricier side when compared to a typical jersey diner but the ingredients seem fresh. My brunch burger was just ok. The beef was a little too medium well and a bit dry, and the fried egg on top was overcooked and produced no yolk - the whole point of having a fried egg on a burger. Good portion size and didn't finish it. All the other food - waffles, omelettes, pancakes, etc. at our table of 6 were enjoyed. I would and will go back again, but have still yet to find my go to dish after 3-4 visits. read more

Quick and friendly service at the counter (visited an early and busy Sunday afternoon). The lines were to be expected, but I was a solo diner and chose to eat at the counters, sans the wait. My waitress was friendly, attentive and quick. The kitchen was constantly in motion (I had a great view from my seat). The coffee was delicious- smooth and full bodied w/o bitter flavors. They offer vegan and "flexitarian" options in addition to my traditional diner breakfast choice. I had blueberry pancakes (a little heavy and possibly overlooked), crispy (thin) bacon and scrambled eggs. I was satisfied... place seems clean and efficient. Next time I will try one of the "healthy" options. But I got exactly what I was craving today, although a tad over cooked. The very friendly and helpful staff in a clean diner goes a long way to making a nice dining experience! read more
