I've been to Silva's many times and have always enjoyed the food, which is why today's experience was so disappointing. The employee taking my order was extremely dismissive and disrespectful. While I was trying to place my order, he never made eye contact, didn't seem interested in listening, and repeatedly cut me off. Before I could finish, he abruptly said, "Four regular plain cheese asada tacos, what else?" He then turned his attention entirely to my lady's order. When she tried to help clarify my order, he ignored her as well and turned away. Eventually, I told her to just leave it alone because it was clear he wasn't interested in listening to either of us. The food has always been good, but customer service matters too. The lady working there looked like she didn't want to be there which I get because it was cold but at least fake it, you are working in a position of customer service. This used to be the only truck I'd go to, and it used to be a good deal. Went today after a few years of not trying any taco trucks. MAJOR disappointment! The size of their burrito supreme has gotten so small that it really takes two to get your fill, but at $10 a pop, that isn't feasible. They claim to be the best because they are! I've been eating at this taco truck for over 10 years. The meat is never fatty, always well seasoned and the salsa is perfect. Don't mess with perfect! I keep trying other taco trucks and they never measure up. If I had any complaints, it would be that it's so dang pricey now. I went today to get a torta after working and was super hungry, it was burnt black on the top the bread and the inside was dry there was no beans or rice the meat was flavorless and dry and there was only tomato one piece of avocado and they charged me for it still I should been remade one not handed burnt dry food very disappointed don't recommend read more

Can I please have some limes? Tacos, burritos are what you expect from a taco truck and that is not a bad thing. Prices are fair, service is fast and friendly. Flavors will not disappoint. Their basics like: arroz, frijoles, asada, tacos, salsa are consistently delicious. No one flavor is overpowering. Tortillas taste homemade and are fresh. This is my second time having Silva's and the first time, I didn't really enjoy because their meat was too bland. I came last Saturday for a second round, and this time, it was delicious. The carne asada and cabeza meat was nicely salted and marinated better. Their tacos are much better! I ordered 6 tacos and they went a long way. I can now say, Silva's is a must eat taco truck when visiting Turlock. Their hot sauce is pretty spicy too which is a plus! I recommend getting a few small cups of it and pouring it on top of your food for more intense flavor. I am definitely coming back again! read more

Decent place to get tacos here in the area. Ended up getting a regular carne Asada quesadilla here and it was cheap for around $3.50 but it was on the smaller side. The carne asada here was really different since it was grounded and not in steak cubes like what I'm used to. I tried some of my friends tacos and definitely preferred those over my dish. The al pastor was a little dry though. However the lengua, chile verde, and Cabeza were very tasty. read more

We have loved this place for years. But they have raised their prices which is understandable, but little containers of salsa are now $1 EACH. It is basically water and pepper. In addition, the last time I paid for one it was 1/2 full. Raising prices on food is understandable, but typically salsa is free elsewhere and if you are going to have super high prices on salsa, then fill the container.
