Stumbled upon this food truck in the middle of nowhere and it truly felt like a hidden gem. They had a small setup with a few outdoor tables that gave it a relaxed, roadside vibe, but I took my order to go. I ordered the supreme carne asada burrito and it was incredible -- the meat was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Both the green and red salsas were fresh and really delicious. I also asked for Chiles Toriados, and they hooked it up with a generous amount; super spicy but so good. The service was friendly and surprisingly quick -- I had my food in no time. Taco trucks are part of my younger days, so I have an affinity for them. This truck did not disappoint. A solid burrito I split with my wife. Plenty of meat and not overloaded with sour cream. Hot sauce was about medium in heat, flavorful rather than overpowering. For $9, I will definitely come back! read more

Food is good but prices are outrageous! 2 burritos and 2 tacos for $33.00 plus I used my credit card which charged me another $4.00 so $37.00 for 2 burritos and 2 tacos...will not being going back here and if I do I definitely will paying with cash so they don't sneak that extra charge on my credit card hoping I don't check it....not sure if that is even legal! read more

Tacos were good. Prices are getting out of hand. $3.00 per taco. After your taco order and a drink you might as well go to a sit down Mexican restaurant and spend your money there. You will at least chips and salsa and a nice place to sit. Just a matter of time that these taco trucks will cease to exist. When paying with bank card will not give you a receipt. Check your transaction because I noticed I was charged a $2,00 transaction fee without being told. No wonder you don't get a receipt. read more

You know what's the worst thing ? When's you find your favorite taquera & yet your conflicted because you've had some shitty experiences there. I tried other taco trucks for the sake of not supporting these people anymore but nobody's food compares. First bad experience: me and my family of 8 would go eat and pay with card. Bad idea. We had charges on our card claiming we ate there several times when we normally only would go 1-2 times a month. I disputed it with my bank and thankfully was reimbursed. Second bad experience today, my husband orders, they guy calls his name (he had already paid) , he looks at my husband at doesn't want to give him the food. My husband is standing there and told him his name. The guy said "no, what's in this order" in Spanish of course. I'm in disbelief. My husband had to recite our order to him just to get his food he already paid for. You can call it a mix up or a mistake. After we have been getting fraudulent charges and still continued to support their business is wrong. We pay with cash now. I will say, they have had different employees during the time that the fraudulent charges happened so it could've been a new employee who was charging our card. But I'm pretty disgusted that they would treat my husband like that after we've been there so many times. If you want this support them, pay cash. read more

This is by far one of my favorite taco trucks in Davis. I like particularly like the sauce (personal preference) than other taco trucks. Sometimes it can alter the taste of the burrito at other places. Also like that they serve a nice helping of meat when you do not order rice in your burrito (I order just means and beans). The tacos are just as great. Always get tacos al pastor (pork) here. The quesadillas here are also very delicious! read more

Found this place after washing my car on Main. They were parked in the same lot as the car wash and I noticed she had a lot of customers during the 30 or so mins I was there. I ordered a regular burrito and squeezed fresh lime on top--delicious! The meat tasted lean and wasn't greasy; the flour tortilla was fresh and warm. This is our go to taco truck, I've been to others but always compare to this one and it always wins. I like that the beef doesn't taste like it's been cooked over and over or with ground beef. Found this place thanks to yelp off 99 heading back to Sacramento. We couldn't decide between the torta or burrito, so it was one of each! I ordered the torta with carne asada and the hubby ordered the burrito with al pastor. I loved the torta. I tried the burrito and wasn't as amazed. The flavor of meat, rice, and beans was off balance, but it wasn't horrible. The meat on both dishes were good and not greasy. Disappointing asada tacos. My go-to truck was closed, so I came here. The chunks of onion were huge, the meat tasted a little old, and the tortilla was hard and soaked through with grease. Greasy even for taco truck standards. The grilled onion had a similar sad soggy look to it. They squeezed all 6 of my tacos on to one plate.
