    Crunchwrap

My go to truck in Turlock. Crunchwrap and surf and turf taco so fire! Guy is always super cool too.

    Burrito bowl

Honestly, These guys don't miss. I go roughly once a week. My two favorite items are crunch wraps and the burrito bowls. The burrito bowls are similar to what you would get at chipotle but with much more authentic flavors and added items. The crunch wraps are equally as delicious. Their service is quick, consistent and their employees are always so kind to talk to. The seating area is always clean with multiple places to sit either in the sun or in the shade. Also, they speak both English and Spanish which is a big benefit in my book because I know there is people out there that can't speak Spanish and there can be a language barrier when ordering at other taco trucks.

    Fat and gristle

Just picked up lunch. 4 asada tacos and a cup of corn. Very disappointed with the tacos. There was a lot of fat in the meat. I understand that it can't be totally lean but I definitely had to pick through it before eating it.. the corn was good though and the girl at the window was nice. I ate one taco in the parking lot and from the other 3 tacos this is how much fat and gristle I had to pick out. Not worth the $15 I paid.

Food was great. Tried the crunch wrap and the taco Chicano. Great flavor. Only thing was it wasn't spicy at all.

    Carne Asada Chalupa

For a Taco truck the food is very good at a great price. The service is great too. I like the street tacos and the chalupa. For $5.00 the chalupa is a great buy. I need to try some of the other menu items next time I go. Good location on the north west part of town. There are tables to sit at when the weather is good. Parking is also good unless they are busy.

Everything here is excellent. Good and friendly service. Recommend the assada tacos Chicano, and the chalupas are insanely good.

Why does this Tri-Tip have to be so ridiculously tender and juicy?!…read more Seriously... why even bother giving me a steak knife? This Tri-Tip was so tender I could've sliced it with an old butter knife from Grandma's kitchen drawer and never missed a beat. And the flavor? Absolutely unreal. I swear that cow was out in the pasture happily munching on fresh grass about two seconds before it made its way to my plate. Every bite tasted so fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor that it almost seemed unfair to every other Tri-Tip I've ever eaten. This wasn't just dinner--it was a full-blown meat experience. Tender, juicy, flavorful, and cooked so perfectly that it should probably come with a warning label: "Caution: May permanently ruin all future Tri-Tip for comparison purposes." 10/10. I'd gladly skip a salad, ignore my diet, and make questionable life decisions all over again for another plate of this masterpiece.

Big Vic's has definitely improved since my last visit. The meat and barbecue are excellent, and I…read morereally enjoy that part of the meal. That said, I still feel the sides are subpar. I usually end up getting the cornbread because the other options don't really appeal to me. On today's visit, I also noticed the price for the sliders didn't match what was listed on the board. When I politely mentioned it to the cashier, she didn't respond or acknowledge it, which made the interaction feel awkward and dismissive. I wasn't trying to make an issue out of it; I was simply pointing out that the posted price should match what customers are charged. If the sliders are $8.78, put $8.78 on the board. If they're $8.24, put $8.24 on the board. It may seem minor, but inaccurate pricing can come across as careless or even dishonest, especially if it happens repeatedly. I also think the front register needs stronger customer service. The person at the register is representing the business, and when a customer brings up a legitimate concern, it should be acknowledged professionally. Having someone more mature or better trained handling checkout would make a big difference. Overall, the barbecue is moving in the right direction, but the sides, posted pricing, and customer service still need attention.
