I've been meaning to write about the excellent customer service I received from this place. They came out on short notice and fixed my electrical problem. read more

I had contacted them with regards to an electrical conduit box that we had out in the yard and wanted to know if it was live or not, and if not, have it removed. The two gentlemen that came out were quick to determine that the box was not live, but they also tracked down where the actual wires were disconnected, and if I wanted to connect something up in the future I could do so. Called the day prior to make an appointment and the day that they were supposed to come out they had called me just before the scheduled appointment time and informed me that they were running a little late (only about 15 minutes or so), which I really appreciated - great communication. Overall very happy with their service and know whom I'll be calling for any of my future electrical needs. read more

Eugene did a great job finding a problem in my electric panel and also replaced a couple other breakers that showed signs of arcing. Job was done quickly and professionally. This was all done during covid lockdowns in 2020 when no one else wanted to work. He was a Blessing! read more

Excellent, fast, and affordable service. They came same day and fixed the burned outlet in our garage real quick. They were honest and upfront about pricing and I am very pleased. I'd definitely use them again. read more

Silva Electric was a super help to me! I had a tenant who had done unauthorized electrical mods and I needed to move into the house. They came out and fixed the mods the very next day. Tenant had installed their own outlet 6 feet up the bedroom wall. I needed to get the home painted quickly and was deep in other repairs when they arrived the next day. Not only did they do the work quickly and completely, but they also gave me some spackle blending tips that saved me a couple days worth of work and I was able to start painting the next day. I will definitely be calling them in the future. read more

We just bought our new town home and are doing some renovations. We wanted recessed lighting throughout the house. I called Silva Electric and Michael helped me out. They put in a total of 10 lights and re mounted a chandelier in a different location. Everything turned out beautiful! Just perfect. They were so nice, very clean, and respectful of our new home. Michael and his co worker knew exactly what they were doing. I will trust him with any electrical needs we need in the future! Highly recommend!! Even though we had plastic in the floor for our own renovations Silva electric put their own plastic down to ensure a clean job. read more

Silva Electric - Lights came out great! Ignore the plastic on the floor, we are doing other renovations before we move in. - Electricians Near Me

Eugene and crew are as good as they come. They have been working on my home for over 2 years now on and off doing jobs others couldn't or wouldn't. There's never once been a time he's said no or I can't do that, every time, "it's sure thing"! Eugene is not the cheapest by any means, you pay for what you get. It's kinda like the Ferrari sitting in my garage, it's not cheap, not everyone can or is willing to pay for it but it's also the best! I've read some of these other reviews and understand some of the frustration of Eugene being hard to reach or too busy, even for me at times he's unable to get jobs done right away but that's understandable when you have a 3 man crew and you're desirable! He always comes through I can assure you that. His price has never increased once he's quoted me. He doesn't really negotiate because his time is valuable and he has more work than time. These are all my personal opinions, I'm also giving 4 stars because I think he does have a little room for improvement in the communication department and cleaning up department (little cut wires usually found around job area). Overall I think Eugene, his son and Danny are all great guys that do fantastic work!! If you can get them to do your job it will be done exactly how you want it. Silva electric gets my recommendation 100% read more

First and foremost, I would like to relate that I am a retired police officer, and accordingly, I look to hire people with the utmost of integrity and honesty. Doing the right thing for the right reasons is a lost art for many businesses; however, that could not be more to the contrary as it relates to Silva Electric. Eugene and his staff could not be more attentive, punctual, and most importantly, provide an exceptional level of work that I believe to be unmatched. Moreover, they leave your home as it was before they started--clean and free of dust and debris. Eugene and his staff are also very personable in addition to working quickly and efficiently; they will not quit until the job is done right! Simply stated, one cannot go wrong for any needed job that requires proper expertise! By the way, I am not personally related to, and nor am I good friends with, Eugene. Rather, I am simply a very satisfied, happy customer that felt the need to provide a review that was most assuredly just deserved! I have and will continue to use Silva Electric for all my needs until Eugene's eventual retirement...and I hope that's not anytime soon :-). Thanks for all you do, guys!!! read more

Called Silva Electric this past Monday, and was able to schedule the appointment for Thursday, as requested. Although it was pouring rain out that whole day, Eugene managed to arrive even before our scheduled appointment time. He was so fast and efficient in changing out the porch light. Price was reasonable. Appreciated his promptness, friendliness, and professionalism, and we will DEFINITELY be calling him for all of our future electrical needs. :) read more

A lot of our electrical outlets stopped working randomly. We couldn't determine what the issue was so Michael Silva came out to look at our issue. I highly recommend him! He got there 10 min early and was very efficient in locating the main issues we had. He was quick, extremely professional and you could tell he knew what he was doing. Every action he had was thought out and logical. We also had an attic area he crawled into. (home inspector, and others didn't even want to go in the area) where he found another outlet just to check and make sure that there wasn't a problem there. He was very quick and through in his work. Thank you! read more

Eugene Silva need an excellent job installing my new bathroom heater fan combo, with new breaker, but more important, due to my eye problems he suggested a newer higher grade recessed lighting to for replacement of old technology,,that alone has made my life so much better, the lights are brighter and last 45 years with only a minimum of energy use,, thanks again Mr. Silva. read more

I would like to let everyone know of the outstanding service Silva Electric provide my family. Eugene & his crew arrive at the scheduled time ready to work. I was wanting to get some lighting cans installed into my kitchen. Eugene made recommendation of LED retrofits. Energy Efficient Lighting. My wife was so happy! We decided to go with Eugene's recommendation of under cabinet LED lighting as well. She loves her new lighting. I found a great electrician at a competitive price. We had 2 other bids o the job. Silva Electric was everything one could wish for in a service firm. When I first called them, they scheduled an appointment right then. They made an appointment for approximately 10 days later not asking us to wait for weeks. Then, on the day they were scheduled to come, they called and asked permission to come early. The were friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient and did everything right. We couldn't be happier and would certainly use them again. read more

I gave them 5stars for the service. I called several companies and no one can come out on Monday morning. I needed a ceiling fan installed. I had installed a couple myself, but the ceiling fan box installed by the builder in this particular room was installed in a way that I couldn't figure out how to attach the fan to it. So I called Silva Electric. The phone rang about 15 times before I finally got a recording to leave a message that seemed designed to screen out robocalls. This seemed kind of sketchy so I hung up. But since the reviews looked great I called back again later. After going through the whole wait for 15 rings and leave a message thing again I left a message and was called back quickly. I asked for a quote to install a ceiling fan on an existing box and received a reasonable price (another electrician advertises in a monthly circular a slightly lower price for ceiling fan installation, but they have awful Yelp reviews so I didn't bother with them). I set up an appointment for a week later. I got a call on that day asking if they could come a couple hours earlier which worked out good for me. They quickly showed up and got to work. They ran into the same problem I did with the ceiling fan box installed by the builder having issues but were able to quickly work around the problem and install the fan. They also needed to replace my wall switch since it was a dimmer switch which would not work with the fan. Even with the extra work, they charged me the original quote. They did a great job, were quick and the fan works great. Next time I electrical work I'll definitely call them. read more

Eugene, my new friend:-) helped us with several low voltage light systems. He and his assistant fixed all my problems on the same day. I didn't think it would happen that fast. Great experience read more

I had an Edison power surge that fried some of the wiring in my 60 year old house. Eugene came out, traced the wires and repaired the problems. The guys from Silva Electric were professional and nice to deal with. Their work was clean and they left no mess at all. I have other work that I have been thinking of doing to the house. Rest assured that I will be calling Silva Electric for this and any other future work. So nice to meet an honest man that does what he is there for and isn't trying to up sell. read more

These guys are true professionals. Very polite and prompt and above all quite knowledgeable about the work. They came back after few weeks to look at a issue I brought up with a switch and fixed it though it was not actually related to their past work, and infact made the whole setup better with few tweaks and finally didn't charge anything. Michael and Eugene were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were extremely kind and helpful every step of the way. I had hired Eugene Silva recently, and as one of the other reviewers stated he had to reschedule a couple of times. However, when he finally came, he did a seemingly decent job, but the clean up left a little something to be desired, and his pricing was different than what he had originally quoted me on the phone. Also, Mr. Silva seemed more focused on trying to "sell" me more on energy saving devices, and he left some clothing behind. Then he took a few weeks to come back and get the clothing since something always seemed to "come up", but his pricing was good so none of this was a deal breaker. It was just slightly annoying. About a month later, I hired him to come do another job. He was delayed again, but he at least called to let me know, but when he did finally show up, he quoted me a higher price than what he had charged me just a few weeks prior. I asked him to match his previous price, and he refused. I went in the other room to ask my wife her opinion, and Eugene walked out the door and drove away without another word. I don't like being jerked around and having price quotes changed without any additional work or reasons given. I would never hire someone like this again. read more

I needed an outlet installed by Friday for an overhead range installation. I called on Wednesday and they were able to install it on Thursday! Anthony and Danny explained the job to me and the price before they started. They answered all my questions and walked me through what they were doing. I like Eugene's smart way to diagnose the cause of the problems and fix it in a proper way that saves me a great deal of money.

I contacted several electricians about needing a few electrical lines rerouted for a small remodel project. While other companies had no availability for weeks, Silva made an appointment 5 days later, and then called back a few minutes later with a same day opening due to cancellation. Two electricians came out right away, gave an estimate, completed the work efficiently, and cleaned up well. So pleased to have gotten the work completed so quickly from a local company with fair upfront pricing. We've had some bad experiences with other electricians, so are happy to have a new go-to company for small electrical projects. Thank you! read more

Courteous, on time, reasonable rates...I will use them again and recommend them to my neighbors. Thank you Silva Electric.

I had been trying to get hold of an electrician for a few days, no one could come when I needed them. I was about to give up, when I called Silva Electric. I was unsure because even though they had 5 stars, there weren't very many reviews. I'm telling you not to let that keep you from calling! They came on the same day I called. They did the work I had asked for, and quickly. They are very professional, and like someone else said, not the cheapest, but you do get what you pay for! The also gave me an estimate for another, bigger job, and I'm going to start saving up now. They are worth it! Thank you Eugene, and Son! read more
