Thursday they stated they had not looked at it, still 'sick'. I told them I was picking it up on Friday after a call with another 'sick' excuse. Some idiot mechanic took the plug out of the front differential, and only hand tightened it. I took it to a reputable mechanic, he put it on a lift, told me to come in and look at the plug. Covert had caused all the fluid to be drained from the transfer case and potentially destroy the entire gear box. What a loser dealer. That is what I get for using a local business without checking reviews. I forgot I had a run in with Covert Bastrop in 1995, where I bought a new 4 wheel drive Suburban on the phone. Had a buddy drop me an hour outside of Austin at the lot, I went in to execute and they sprung a hail damage waiver on me. Never disclosed. There is obviously an epidemic of liars from sales to service in this organization. Do not frequent these businesses.
