If you are considering carrying a…read moreconcealed weapon, or just want a good introduction to handguns (or both) do yourself a favor and TAKE THIS CLASS. Matt is an excellent instructor who clearly knows what he is doing, is a professional and is very patient (good for me, ha!). Even if you never decide to carry, his class teaches you some real good things on situational awareness that you can take away and use in your everyday life. Matt also has a firearms simulator where you can run drills that you would not be able to do on the range. All in all, I was pleased and am going to take a couple more classes with Matt to further my education.

Raymond and Tina are great instructors and great people too. They have been training and coaching people in the use of firearms for years and it shows. The shooting portion of the class was done in their INDOOR range. Great!!! Safety was constantly emphasized. They teach all 16 hours of Illinois' required Concealed Carry training. They also teach basic pistol and rifle classes and defensive firearms classes as well. I Highly recommended all of their services to anyone looking to fulfill their concealed carry training as well as anyone looking to learn about firearms and the shooting sports.

I would recommend this class to ALL individuals who plan on actually carrying a firearm on a day to day basis. Actually doing this class once a year to stay sharp would be smart. We were very impressed first and foremost by their attention to safety. The ground rules set at the beginning about keeping all guns holstered unless instructed otherwise and general muzzle control were simple and straight to the point. The program was simple but well thought out so that each drill built on the last. Even novice shooters can take this class given how the program is set up. I plan on taking the basic course once a year and look forward to experiencing the more complex course in the spring. Oh and the price is unbelievably low. Raise your price John, your product is top of the line. Thanks guys see you soon!

Every single member of staff I have met was extremely professional, helpful, kind, and friendly. One staff member in particular, Ben, is a WONDERFUL person that has helped me many times. He is extremely down to earth and easy to talk to, and is one of the reasons I keep coming here even after moving 70+ miles away. The best part of Shoot Point Blank is their range. It is clean, well kept, and well monitored. The Range Officers allow you to enjoy your time shooting without breathing down your neck. However, in the event the RO's see you breaking range/safety rules, they will address the issue in a professional manner. This is the best range I have been to in Illinois by a long shot...much better than other nearby mega gun ranges (*hint* *hint*) Keep being awesome Shoot Point Blank!
