If you don't own a firearm, first get your FOID card, then buy a .22 or .380 pistol. Get a medium sized pistol, not a small concealed type. You can get a little one after you learn how to shoot. I highly recommend this business. Chris is an excellent instructor. He knows the laws, answers the questions and encourages students to reach out after the class with questions or how to navigate the online registration for CCL. Chris is very nice and has a nice sense of humor. Went to the range to qualify and I was very nervous as it has been a while since I went shooting.
