The training and Chris were both exceptional especially considering the cost of the training was lower than what others in the area seem to be charging. Any and all questions were answered thoroughly and accompanied by real world examples from Chris's time as active duty law enforcement. His teaching style made the entire process a breeze - fun & engaging throughout. He even made it clear multiple times to us that if we ever had any questions after the course to feel free and give him a call. After the shooting portion of the course he took some time to specifically help me with some techniques to not anticipate the shot and pull down as much. I completed the 16 hour concealed carry course at their location in Homer Glen. Let me tell you, these guys are the real deal. My instructors Tom and Chris were very knowledgeable and bring years of experience to the classroom. They are very qualified to teach this material. I enjoyed the interactive format mixed with some real life stories and experiences. In those two short days I have gained confidence in firearm safety/handling and understanding of Illinois carry laws. I also liked that I was able to complete the course during the week instead of losing a weekend. Most places I researched only offered classes on Saturday/Sunday. I had no prior shooting experience before the class and was able to pass the written and shooting test with absolutely no problem. If you want to get a bang for your buck I suggest you sign up for this class. Not only is it informative it is hands on learning.The instructors have years of experience and they share it with the class. I took this class in April 2017. My experience was awesome. The instructors Chris and Tom were absolutely great. They were very knowledgeable and they made the class enjoyable. My husband bought my weapon as a Christmas gift back in 2015, I have never shot this weapon since I got it. Taking this class with Tom and Chris made me more familiar with my weapon. I am going to sign up for all the classes they offer. just took the ccw class and it was awesome.. the instructors(Harrington and Bernabei) were great and real laid back making this class better. with many years of experience they know exactly what they talk about. always making sure that safety was a priority to always avoid any sort of accident, their schedule was phenomenal. their schedules were very flexible so you can take their courses with ease. from the breakdown of the firearm, to aiming, safety, concealment, rules and regulations, everything was broken down. overall ccw course was amazing and the instructors were great!!!
