I would like to start by saying that the front desk staff and the doctor were extremely patient, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. They took the time to answer questions and provided excellent care.
Unfortunately, my experience when selecting glasses was very different. As a Medicaid patient, I felt rushed while trying to choose my frames. During my visit, I noticed that I was shown a different selection of Medicaid-covered glasses than the selection previously shown to my children, even though we have the same Medicaid coverage. When I questioned this, I was told it was due to frame size. However, I believe customers should be given the opportunity to try on all eligible frames and decide for themselves which styles and sizes fit best.
I was also disappointed when certain sunglasses were described as being "for females" and others "for males." In my opinion, glasses are a personal choice and should be considered unisex. Customers should feel comfortable trying on any frame they like without being steered toward specific styles based on gender.
Most importantly, I felt treated differently because I was selecting Medicaid-covered frames rather than more expensive options. The interaction felt rushed and, at times, rude. Every patient deserves the same level of respect, attention, and customer service regardless of their insurance coverage or budget.
Because of this experience, I would not return for future eyewear purchases. I hope this feedback encourages improvements so that all customers feel valued and respected. read more
