I couldn't say enough about the service provided. many years many guns. Went above and beyond to make sure my rifle length of pull and eye releif to scope was right. Just for one example. If I bought anywhere else I would have had to figure out myself. read more

One start cuz the app doesn't let me put CERO stars!!! They have cool stuff but the customer service is TRASH!! I thought the other reviews about the service was a bad day luck but i can see now that is true. I walked in to buy something, the guy seems pretty cool at first but when i started asking question he gave me weird eyes like if i was bothering him eventually he started talking with other of the retail guys and not putting attention to my questions I finally said "thank you" and completely ignored me. I hope they fix the customer service tho read more

I walked in on a whim to just look around. I had earlier thought about buying a pistol for my kid but wasn't set on it yet. However, after talking with Pete and him displaying to me a few options, I pulled the trigger (pun intended) and bought a pistol. Process from start to finish was no more than 20min. Great customer service and product knowledge. Give them a try! You won't be disappointed. read more

Emotionless, uninterested salespeople. If youre not a vet or law enforcement, your treated as an after thought and a bother. Sold me a Sub 2000 for 1k and then tried to sell me a Sig 320 for 3.5k. Charged me 600 to restock the Sig despite its reputation and acted ignorant to any knowledge of issues. Buyer beware read more

The service here was an amazing experience today totally recommend this store. Very friendly

Good gun selection but just like the other comments these guys have zero people skills and are very arrogant don't recommend at all called 2 arms is definitely a better place with better staff that have people skills sorry not sorry read more

I did the whole process from achieving my firearm license to ordering &purchasing my first firearm with them, and I am a happy customer everybody was helpful & I even got a discount because it was my birthday doesnt mean you will get one but amazing people 5 stars read more

I gave my glock to them to be sold last year and they have given no transparency on the process. When reaching out to them i was left ignored. read more

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Great selection of ARs and accessories. I highly recommend stopping by.

Purchased a Saint Victor 9mm AR and had a hell of a time getting the scope calibrated. I went into the store which was very neat or organized. Asked them if they calibrating scopes and was told they did. In less then two minutes it was calibrated and I was on my way to the range. Thank you gentlemen. Very friendly and very professional. I would purchase from there in a heartbeat. read more

Brought my AR-15 with a Trijicon 4x32 ACOG weapon sight in to have it repaired. After a month or so, the rifle was ready for pickup and I paid the ransom to retrieve it. Going out to the range to test the rifle, I notice that the reticle looked very dim, and checked it again once I returned home. Apparently, the tritium used to illuminate the reticle at night or in low-light conditions has faded on this Trijicon sight: it's not as intense as it was when I bought it from Sierra Arms 3 years ago. I sent the sight back to Trijicon. I received an email from Trijicon that this ACOG sight was reported as having been stolen from the United States Marine Corps -- according to the serial number of the ACOG. A formal letter was received from Trijicon, alleging that the scope is stolen. It's not the same serial number of the ACOG sight sold to me by Sierra Arms, which was on my rifle when I took it in to have it repaired. Fortunately, I took a photo of the serial numbers of both rifle and scope at the desk where the Sierra Arms employee laid the rifle: you can clearly see the serial numbers of the two with the rifles and shotguns displayed on the wall behind the rifle and scope: the serial number of the ACOG sight matches the one on the Trijicon hard plastic case, which I've taken the liberty of locking up where it can't be stolen. Sierra Arms denies any culpability for the scope being switched with one that was stolen... even despite having at least one USMC veteran there who works as a gunsmith. Guess the shop pixies did it. read more

Never again with these guys . Just all around bad experience. Very rude . They honestly put me In a bad mood every time I even had to enter the business because there so rude to everyone , they don't call you with follow ups on your purchase and or your Back grounds you have to drive down there every week to check up because they also do not answer there phones . Nobody there wears or requires mask due to Covid they clearly dont care for anyone there. Owner is just very rude and snobby to everyone that walks in . I took my business elsewhere because of the way they treat and discriminated. read more

FLUORESCENT TARGET PARADISE! As I was searching for Scott's Sub place, I lucked upon this little place. They had tons (& literally tons) of humungo safes, some so big that you could fit a Hippo like me into one of them. The big ones started a cool $1k and went up to $3-4k for the Hippo-sized versions. They also had a small but great assortment of various targets in plain, green, and orange. I heard about these stick-um fluorescent orange ones from my co-workers. You can see where you hit from far away. In addition, you can stick them on a used big plain B&W target, to cover the holes that you just put there, so you can use it over & over again. Most shooting ranges charge $1.50-2.00 per target so it gets expensive, and hard to see after you put more than 10 rounds in a target. The staff was friendly and helpful, and gave me a good referral for a local shooting training program. They also said that they would give me a fair & better than the competition deal if I bought through them next time. Some of the ammo was expensive ($25 for 50 rounds of 9mm) and they only had a limited amount of guns to see. There appeared to be at least one law enforcement customer and one not so kosher-looking character eyeballing assault-looking weapons, but appearances can be deceiving. SINCE I HAVE NOT SHAVED FOR A FEW DAYS AND NEED A HAIRCUT BAD, I AM SURE I LOOKED SOMEWHAT MORE PSYCHO THAN USUAL! I HOPE I DID NOT SCARE THEM! read more

Enter at your own risk. And the risk of your coworkers and family. The employees are not required to wear masks. Customers sometimes do and sometimes don't. This is 6 days after the county has slid back to the highest level of virus spread, but while an appeal is pending. There is no evidence that their door has ever been cleaned. Every customer touches it. And somehow these big tough men with big tough guns not only refuse to protect against a raging immenent threat, the friggin spit on the ground on their way in and out. They don't care about anyone else. read more

Can't believe customer service around here. Ignorance of these employees. Can't ask a question with out them ignoring and heading to next person. Don't want to help have common courtesy and say I'll have someone else help you. And yes if the item I'm searching is not there obviously you don't have it, but at least show us where the item is so next time I can see where to look. Don't just say not there we don't have it. This place is Fasholy racist I went one morning ready to spend whatever on a FN 5.7 the moment I walked in I was racially profiled and asked to step out while I was waiting for someone to come help me. I ended up leaving and feeling perplexed what caused them to feel this way towards me but I went to a different gun store right after in Modesto and received great costumer service. Plus when I walked in this place was empty af barely got any options as it is I'm glad this happened the first time I went I would of hated to spend my hard earned money and find out later this place doesn't deserve it read more

I loved this place. Definitely recommend and we will be returning. We really appreciate Peters ability to multitask while still being able to answer all our questions read more

This is an awesome shop. I've been a customer of Sierra Arms for a while. The staff is great and very friendly. Their prices are very good and they have a nice selection of accessories. The shopping center has a lot of parking. This shop works with the best firearms instructor in the area and offers classes in house. I recommend this shop to all of my friends and they have been very happy to do business with them. read more

These people have terrible communication. I bought a gun here and they never called to notify me that the gun was ready. They never answer the phone either. For whatever reason my wife's background check was undetermined the employee said it was up to the owner to sell her again which he didn't approve and charged us a 20% restocking fee that was never mentioned when we both made the payments for the guns. read more

Great shop in Modesto to get guns and supplies. I had asked them to swap in some parts for my gun and they were able to take it in same day with a 5 minute turn around. They also host classes for Trident which provide fun handling classes among other fun training If you need help or have a question ask anyone there, it's a gun shop not a restaurant, orders aren't taken by a waiter. Go here for mods or services for your gun. They have almost everything you need at fair prices. read more

They're gun counter workers know absolutely nothing, they couldn't tell me the difference between a Glock 19 and a Glock 17. Even though I already knew, I asked to see if they had more detailed information and all he said is "yeah man they're nice, they shoot 9mm" lol read more

I have been here 3 times and every single time I was never helped maybe it's cause I'm not white and I really dislike saying this but sometimes it needs to be said, I was here with my wife to buy a pistol and a rifle some ammo ready to spend $1500 to $4000, no one said hello nothing so I left and spent that money somewhere else. Love this place! Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I come here for all of my firearms purchases. Owner Peter always stocks state of the art equipment, upgrades, and quality gear. Everything here is reasonably priced. Ps their employee Roger is the balls of the operation. read more

This place is a total joke. First gun purchase from here took forever, had placed an order for a certain gun was told it would take a week for it to arrive, 2 weeks later no call or anything so I call in to check on it and all of a sudden it's on back order and would take an extra week for it to arrive. Decided to go in and exchange for something that was in stock, and finally after 10 days I was able to get A gun from here. Besides that been in here 2 times and both times was helped by the rude old man with white long hair that's is way behind on his gun laws, in a horrible mood shouldn't be allowed to help customers at all, he asks if u need help but doesnt help at all and will try to shy away from selling you anything, not even a rebuild part without having a REALid. Wont be going here anymore, I'd rather make the trip to Turlock and take my business to Alquinst. Buh bye Sierra. read more

Brought my gun in for a cerakote job which took awhile to do. Owner acknowledged that the time was too long and didn't charge for it. Customer service was excellent! I'll all my business back to them. read more

Terrible Customer Service. They speak to you in a condescending tone. Like they are doing YOU a favor. I'm not sure if they're volunteering their time or if they actually get paid to their jobs but they look miserable or might just hate customers. But don't believe all the overwhelming negative reviews, go in the shop yourself and be disappointed in person. Whoever the owner is, you're going to lose a lot of business because of the assholes you have working behind the counter including you. read more

Have been customer for 15+ years. Owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. Prices on ammunition are high, but that is the sign of the times.

I went in to look at some guns. I was looking for a 22. The employees were awesome and talked to me about all the guns and what would be best for me. Went into details regarding the guns. I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

Nate and the team at SAC Guns are great. As a first time gun buyer they really helped me out not only picking out the amazing glock 27 but helping me get through the buying process. Thanks so much guys. I would recommend to anyone who is looking to buy a gun to start at Sierra Arms. read more

Worst customer service! I'm an army vet and went in today to purchase a gun and a safe but the guy there didn't seem to want to answer any of my questions. It's ok I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

You can't get much better than this place! The guys in here are very knowledgeable and thorough in their customer service. There are a couple who are a bit more 'arrogant' about their gun knowledge, but eh for the most part everyone else is great. The place is pretty much always packed, so be prepared to wait. The husband and I did some real comparison shopping both on-line and around the Valley. Each time we went to a different shop, we always came back to Sierra's stock and customer service. I cannot remember the name of the guy that did our final purchase and paper work, but he was awesome. We spent a fair amount of money in here, and each step of the way felt completely comfortable with it. I would highly recommend this place to any other person looking to purchase a fire arm. read more

Yesterday was my first time visiting Sierra Arms and it won't be my last! I met Dave and he helped me with my AR-10. He's very knowledgeable with the AR platform and will be my "go-to" guy next time I'm in need of getting some work done on any of my ARs. I'm a do-it-yourselfer, but sometimes it's best to let the experts work on your gun so you don't end up having to pay for a mistake you made. When care and special tools are needed to get your AR to how you want it, see Dave at Sierra Arms! I also noticed they had a vast selection of handguns, parts and accessories. If you need something for any of your firearms, Sierra Arms may just have what you need. I'll definitely be back... read more

Just walked out empty handed. I was trying to purchase my two little items, but apparently with five employees in the building they're only capable of taking care of two customers at a time. To me it's not a good sign if employees can't give you a price on common weapons sold. I don't expect firearm sales persons to be as knowledgeable as I am about weapons but at least know the basics, especially what is in your store. When I ask about certain parts I am interested in for my rifle, i.e. sights and bipods, don't give me one answer to a quick question then walk off. Sell me that shit, be a salesman, I am there to try and spend money. I've been there one time before with similar experience. They get one more chance, some time in the future, before I write them off for good. The only reason they got two stars is because they're a gun store in California so they get some points for effort. read more

Very knowledgeable and answer questions stupid or not without attitude unlike a lot of gun shops most act like they are above you and with shitty attitudes. They were able to get me my arsenal 7sf in no time they got my Kriss vector quickly and I have made many other purchases which they yet have to make my experience at all negative! Great group of guys that I would say have been the nicest and truly upfront about everything highly recommended in my book! read more
