Specialties
If you are a first time gun buyer, or just have questions regarding different types of CCW firearms, without all the waiting or intimidation, then I'm your FFL Dealer. I provide one to one service and personal time to help you feel comfortable. I'll do my best to help you pick out your first pistol, or long gun. For those who are long term firearm owners, but tired of the hassle and frustration of standing in line, or working around tight schedules for paperwork, I will help you feel less stress by setting up an appointment that fits your schedule best. I mostly do firearm transfers from buyers who purchase online and shipped to me for transfer. I'll order special for you if you wish. Sometimes that can be a little less expensive, or sometime not.
History
Established in 2014.
Just before retiring, I started Bills Shooters and Blades to help support our Second Amendment, and to meet new gun enthusiast and new friends. I've always liked the idea of having my own business and working with people with the same interest. So after a lot of thought, I decided to become an FFL Dealer. I was also looking for something to supplement my income after retirement. However, the real story is I was looking for a new pistol online through Gunbroker.com, but once I realized I had to go through an FFL dealer for transferring, I decided I didn't want to do that because they are expensive and sometimes hard to work with. So, I found out how to become a FFL Dealer, and help save clients' money, and make it a friendly and comfortable environment for doing business.
Meet the Business Owner: Bill F.
I'm a Vietnam Veteran, 1969 to 1971. After being discharged I spent a lot of time looking for work. Like most, I tried starting my own business but without success. After working in a few factory warehouse's and several small jobs I went back to school to get my degree in Electronic Technology. After I graduated, I was lucky and landed a job at Bank of America as a Network Control Tech. in Downtown LA. I worked there for 10 years before going to Security National Bank as a Network Engineer for their new Data Network Center in Brea, CA. From there I went on to Aero Space, Lockheed Network Tech Division, Northrop Grumman B2 Network support team, then Cisco Systems software company till 2001. At that time, the .com industrial went belly up and I was one of 1000's who lost their jobs. After a year of not working, my best friend, my wife today, helped me get into the School Bus Deriving business. Long story short, I did that for the next 13 years and retired in May 2015.
