This is probably the nicest indoor range here in the valley. I've been here a number of times and everyone is pretty cool, even took my wife here for her first time shooting and she had a great experience. They have an excellent ventilation system in the range that keeps it cool with a lot of fresh air circulation. They carry a pretty good selection of tactical rifles and modern handguns, far better than any other gun stores in the central valley. Went with a buddy of mine since he was a member and everyone there was very informative about firearms. Renting was no problem and the older gentleman was very patient. So patient that even when another guy came in he wanted to go to the range with his girl but he kept messing up by taking a UNLOADED firearm and kept aiming it in the clerks direction while having a finger on the trigger, which is a HUGE NO NO! The guy was pissed off when he was told he couldn't shoot but the clerk was already very patient with him. I would highly recommend going here if you're in the area. read more

Revisited this place again. Now they have more handguns in their inventory. Unfortunately, their prices are still not competitive. Colt Python is going for $1699 compared to $1499 MSRP. Actually I saw a 3" Python is going for $1299 at Sportsman's Warehouse. Zastava ZPAP with a fixed triangular stock is $1499. Only $1249 at another store nearby. To start with higher prices and having to pay the additional tax for Gov Newscum is a no-Go. Update 4/11/2025 Updating the Python's MSRP to the "new" $1699 as Gabriel pointed out, although it was originally $1499 that was why Gabriel did not challenge this in my previous review. Still, the fact is that it is still a few hundeds cheaper at Turner's, Sportsman's Warehouse, Outdoor Sportsman, and Alquist. Hubby and I have been wanting to go to the gun range for quite some time now but never had the chance to make it out here. We've bought our firearms from Elite Armory in CV and they told us about the Tracy location where they have a range. I decided to plan for us to go for our anniversary to be able to get more familiarized with our firearms. The drive wasn't too bad for Saturday. The parking lot is small so it gets filled up pretty quickly. I believe we got there roughly around 1PM and there was no parking at all. Good thing as I was trying to turn back out someone was leaving so I was able to grab a spot. The wait for a lane was about 30 mins to an hour. We placed our names down and just waited outside for them to text us, but we went back in every 20 minutes or so to double check since they said sometimes the signal is off. We finally got a lane and we bought our ammo and targets to practice on. We both honestly had a blast! It was a bit nerve wrecking in the beginning, but once we started it was fun. I was hesitant in using Hubby's shotgun, but afterwards I have to say that it was my favorite to use. We are definitely coming back soon! read more

I love coming into Elite Armory Plus! It's probably the best gun shop that I've been to. And this is coming from someone who lived in the midwest. The staff here in Tracy has always been knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. It's probably the friendliest shop I've been to. This is hard to find when it comes to these types of stores. I also go to the one in Castro Valley sometimes. Sometimes I'll come in just to use the range, which is really nice by the way. I appreciate how they work hard to keep us safe on the range. The occasional negative reviews on here are usually just ridiculous people who come in and think they can get away with range safety violations. The staff here will call you out on something if you mess up (as they should), and some people just take any kind of criticism. Keep it up Elite Armory Plus! read more

My favorite place to go shooting, they also have quite the selection in the storefront. It's an indoor range so it can get a bit loud depending on what your neighbor is shooting, I normally use external and internal ear pro. The folks that work there are very friendly and kind and can awnser most questions you might have about firearms and related equipment. And for a place so close to the bay area I was pleased to see their prices are super reasonable. Even with the crazy ca taxes I walked out with 1000rnds for around 150 read more

I have a place closer that I go regularly to shoot but we come here when we want to shoot the bigger guns because our regular indoor range doesn't allow the AR 15. The staff here are always friendly and helpful and I like that the process of getting signed in is easier because they have newer technology here. The prices are good at $18 a lane + $12 for each additional shooter and they give each person a free target. Granted, targets are less that $1 each, but its a nice thing to do and thoughtful things like that build customer loyalty. When I have visited it has been uncomfortably hot inside the range...like to the point where I have to go outside because I am sweating. That is really the only reason I can't give 5 stars. I guess I will just have to wait until winter to shoot my big guns from now on. I definitely reccomend stopping in here and giving them a try! read more

I would suggest the Livermore range to practice with your firearm. The prices are high here to purchase and the customer service is terrible. It's even high to shoot in the range. Went on birthday and didn't even get the range fee waived like they do for others not sure why. I did state is was my birthday. Also had an issue with ammo, after being told someone could help me I just had to wait . I waited for 20 minutes for someone to say they couldn't help me. I would try the Livermore range and if your looking to purchase sportsman warehouse in Brentwood is waaaaaay more reasonable read more

Very good place, nice staff, this is a indoor shooting range, I have been there 3 times all during the weekday, not many people there( expect more ppl during the weekend). It's $20 fee for 2 hours, usually not until the range is full and someone is waiting for your spot. Ammo there is cheaper, and that's the main reason I choose this place, during the pandemic, it's $50 for 100 rounds while other places are charging as much as $1 per round. In addition to that, you have a variety of guns that you can rent to practice. I highly recommend this place. read more

A++++ Drove out to take the class with Bryan and Brad. They are fabulous and clearly passionate about what they do. Love that Bryan served our country and has lots of real experience in a practical setting. This class was FAR better than the concealed carry class I took a few years back at another place. As a disclaimer, I am new to the gun world and may use the wrong terminology below: My husband, friend and I visited Elite Armory Plus over the weekend. It was my first time shooting a gun - I was really pleased with the experience! When you get to the front door, you'll need to wait outside for someone to let you in. It only took about 30 seconds to be greeted at the door. From there, you are brought in to the main room where they keep their guns, ammo, etc, and where you purchase your lane. We had 3 people and receive 3 target papers. You'll want to put your eye and ear protection on prior to going through the gun range door. Once you get it in, you'll go through a couple doors to get to the range. They'll assign you to your lane before you enter that area. Upon entering the range, you'll see each one numbered. They make sure to enforce gun safety, including loading / prepping your gun in your container area and not any further back where people are walking around. They also ask that you wait at least 1 second in between each shot. The employees in the gun range area are not there to help you with how to work your gun, so if you are new, you may want to bring someone along that can show you want to do. Overall, it was a great experience and we will be back! read more

Second time at this location but first time under new company. Same set up, clean bright but awesome customer service. Came her with my college son and his gf and we all had a blast. CSR was friendly and helped with electronic sign in and ID checks. Checking out rental guns for a Flat Rate was awesome. We just had to buy the bullets and targets( one was given complimentary for each shooter).They got to try practically every handgun under their rental section and learned a lot. Other customers were friendly, taught us about their guns and ammo and allowed us to try out a few shells. Will definitely come here in the future. Bring a jacket to cover up. I came in here with my class in conjunction of taking my ccw class at silver creek security to fulfill my 16 hours of hands on training and this place is awesome if you haven't stop by here for your shooting desires this is the spot it's a hidden gem for indoor shooting not the biggest but one of the cleanest and efficient spots I've been too. I like the fact that they have a air conditioning ducts blowing when your firing to make it that much more comfortable nice clean store front and customer service is awesome as well, like I said if you haven't been to this hidden gem you must try it. I heard about this place from a few friends who used to come here with the previous owner. Although none of them came here under the new ownership, I decided to give it a try because I read the reviews here. I messaged via yelp and Facebook, but never got a respond back so I decided to give them a call before headed out there. I originally wanted to take my boyfriend on his birthday last week here, but couldn't due to food poisoning from a restaurant. Anyways, I called right when they opened at 11am & the gentleman on the phone answered all of my questions. When we got there, the same gentleman recognized my voice and remembered me. His name is JOSH & he was super helpful and informative. I haven't been to a shooting range in 10 years! And my boyfriend owns a gun, but haven't really used it. Josh was nice enough to take his time and tell us some tips, tricks and basic stuff. We REALLY appreciated it. We both had no idea what we're doing, well, especially me, lol. And inside the range, Josh came in and gave us a few pointers on how to shoot. I'm telling you, this man was so nice and sweet, seriously best customer service. He made me feel comfortable holding a gun and gave us compliments (even if we sucked lmao), very genuine. We had so much fun. It won't be our last time either. My boyfriend already wants to come back to shoot and even take some classes that they offer. It's totally worth the 45 minute drive for us. I don't think I want to come back when Josh is off though. I trust him. And he has some pretty blue eyes that I kept glazing into lol something about him made me believe in myself. Thank you for such a great experience, I can't wait to come back!
