This is a small coffee cart, with seating, that is attached to the public safety center. Cheryl (the owner) is personable and provides wonderful customer service. They are open M-F 6 am-12 pm.

Always great coffee. Locally owned. Quality products. Consistent. The coffee monger is friendly, and knows coffee. Glad I found this stand.

The coffee good and strong. The owner is super nice. But the best thing of all is that the prices include tax so no surprises.

I stopped in for a quick bite and left questioning every empanada I've ever eaten. The empanadas are absolutely incredible--flaky, perfectly baked, packed with flavor, and somehow capable of disappearing before you realize you've finished them. I came for a snack and immediately started planning my next visit. The bagels are excellent too, and the cream cheese is so smooth, rich, and creamy that it deserves its own fan club. Even with bagels this good, the empanadas somehow steal the show. There's only outdoor seating, but honestly, that's part of the charm. It gives you a chance to sit back, enjoy your food, and reflect on how good your life choices were when you decided to stop here. Robby came out to check on us and told us all about how the bakery got its name and the story behind everything "Forgotten." What a treat that was. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and visit. Just don't blame me when you start comparing every future empanada and bagel to The Forgotten Bakery and finding them disappointingly inadequate.

I stopped by on a whim and like usual got a standard order to test: plain bagel with egg, cheese, bacon. It was around 11:30am and a lot of things were sold out, so if you want something specific, make sure you get there early! Service: 4/5, very friendly, got my bagel sandwich within 5 minutes of ordering, easy to pay (cash preferred); ambiance is straightforward as a small, simple, clean place with no frills and a few seats, so expect to grab & go or only come with one friend. Bagel: 3/5, I prefer a good level of chew/density but this was more on the dry/bready, also like a good toast on the outside; ratio of filling to bagel was good though Filling: 3.5/5, good portion of light & fluffy eggs with cheese in almost every bite, bacon was 20% crunch 80% chewy, but the salt level of the bacon was off the charts and distracting Value: 4/5, better breakfast sandwich when comparing to McD's, old school Dunkin' Donuts, most gas stations, and even frozen breakfast sandwiches from grocery stores; solid price to quality & portion ratio. Overall, it landed right in the middle of my expectations and was a serviceable sandwich, but there are other places that'll knock your socks off for the same thing. Convenience, speed, and a friendly smile is what it is all about here!

I've vowed in 2026 I was going to open myself up to trying new coffee shops as I'm historically just such a creature of habit and it's experiences like Old Soul that make that vow so great-I really enjoyed this place. As far as coffee goes, this is what we ordered.I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted-was kind of looking for something less sweet and minimal sugar,so went with just their plain cold brew($6.00).My daughter went with their Sea Salt and Honey Shaken Espresso drink.($6.75) My Cold Brew was good-though I will admit a little boring of an order when trying out a new place. My daughters drink though-WOWSERS!!!...It was so good-I was filled with instant regret that I didn't go more adventurous with my coffee order and I'd wished I had gotten that one instead-it was really great. In closing-I feel like I'm way late to the party but Old Soul is a really great coffee shop and it has skyrocketed up my coffee shop rankings in Sacramento and I truly can't wait to visit them again. They are doing great things out there-well done. PS-They are located on the corner of 34th and Broadway so parking is 100% street parking-but it's plentiful and really easy to find spots very close-so zero issues with parking here.

Good location too, but the tall white guy barista with glasses is disinterested at best and downright rude at worst. Interacted with him several times and there's never even a veneer of politeness. The last straw was when I told him something was wrong with my order and he just says "okay" then turns away. I didn't even want it remade I just wanted to make him aware, but like c'mon at least fake an apology? Don't work in the industry if you can't even manage to be halfway nice to people!! I'll continue to go to the Weatherstone location, everyone is always cool over there.

I would say the only thing I would like added is a confirmation the day before pickup letting me know the order was ready. But other than that the whole process was very smooth . The bakery itself is very cute and full of delicious looking treats. The staff was friendly as well. I ordered a carrot cake and it was so amazing! My sister loved it! It was very moist, spiced just right and had a lot of the cream cheese frosting that everyone loves! But it also wasn't extremely sweet which I appreciated. QUITE A FEW people at the party stated that they were not normally fans of carrot cake because of the big chunks of nuts and raisins in it...but RAVED about how they loved this carrot cake (it didn't have those things)! They were sad to find out that the bakery is in Sacramento (the party was in the East Bay). I would definitely order from them again and I highly recommend. Thank you Freeport Bakery!

Got both the chocolate and the raisin walnut cinnamon. Prefer the raisin as the whole thing tasted less dry. Bd enjoyed the biscotti but next time I'll get him the one dipped in chocolate. The orange and raspberry cookie with the almond paste was lovely! Crumbly melty when you bite into it, nice texture and not too sweet. Pb chocolate chip was the most generic. Wouldn't get it again. Have yet to try the slice of salted caramel cake which was recommended to try at room temperature. I meant to order a chocolate cake because of their rave reviews! Next time!

For lunch, we ordered the Chicken Pesto Panini, the Tri-Tip Chimichurri Sandwich, and the Tri-Tip Southwest Salad. Every dish was generously portioned, fresh, and packed with flavor. I initially parked closer to their kitchen, not realizing there was a main building but they're right across from each other. They have a few self-ordering kiosks, which I guess they prefer customers to use. It kind of seemed like the staff member didn't want to take my order, even though it wasn't busy at all. Their bakery items and brunch menu are on the higher end price-wise, but I think that also aligns with the market and location, so it makes sense. Since it was my first time there, I only ordered a couple of items to try. FOOD REVIEW Morning Bun - 5/5: My kids loved this. It reminded me of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, but in pastry form. This was so good. Almond Croissant - 5/5: The croissant itself was airy, super flaky, and really good. My kids also enjoyed this one. The pastries were packaged nicely as well. Faria's traditional croissant in 2025 was top notch and comparable to croissants in Paris, it was THAT good. Better than even Bay Area croissants. It was fluffy, buttery and flakey. With the right amount of butter ratio. But something changed this year. Now it's flat, quite dry, w/ lowered butter ratio, and higher sugar content. Like Faria decided to cut corners? Sorry, if this is wrong. But it's now a MID croissant, when it was damn near perfect. I tried it a few times this year, just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. But obvious recipe change. What happened, FARIA?!?!?!?! When feedback was given under comments on their IG, they also blocked me. Weird. Why the defensiveness? Again this review is left w all due respect to what was a perfect croissant. No need to change a great product.
