    Beer.

It's an interesting place. They've got pastries and a bunch of different coffee items if beer ain't your thing. But, unfortunately the reason I won't be going back is I noticed a few customers getting barked at by one employee who seemed to enjoy being rude and making people feel embarrased if they forgot to put their mask on while getting up to go to the bathroom or to order another drink. I almost expected to see Gov Mills in the corner. The beer was mediocre, and at $8 a glass it wasn't exactly a steal. I'd imagine they would be grateful that customers wanted more. The poutine place on the side of the building .. wicked good!

Sweet place to get some yummy and chill pizza with an in house beer that is perfect for all days of the week! I especially enjoyed the girl who greeted me! She knew the beer and was able to help me decide on my flight! All were tasty! She was even good about pairings which I believe matters when deciding on a flight pairing!

Best food in the auburn area by a long shot ! So happy we tried this place out today . Great atmosphere , friendly staff and the brews were amazing ! we usually to have a hard time picking a place to eat/drink in auburn but not anymore. can't wait to go back

Who doesn't love a brewery that opens at 7am? It's because they have amazing coffee/espresso/breakfast offerings but nonetheless, you can still get beer that early. Really big space, Pinky D's poutine in house, wifi, food, drinks. Coffee is Coffee by Design and breakfast items are from the Italian Bakery. The beer seemed German focused but still tasty. Cool concept for brewery and breakfast. We'll be back!

I should start this post off by saying this isn't your average brewery. I don't drink, but I love the vibe from breweries and I typically drag my sister along because she's fun and has a thing for craft beer. But I've driven by and watched this place transform and like with most food & booze joints I'm super excited about, I try to give it a little bit of time to get the kinks worked out before I go for the first time. So for starters the building itself is COOL AF. It's got the coolest roof, it's clean, it's wide open. The outdoor patio is spacious and sunny and super cute, lots of plants and lights, and makes the whole place very inviting! *This part will also be in my other review because it's a separate business but worth mentioning here* THERE IS A POUTINE FOOD TRUCK BUILT INTO THE WALL. (For more on said Food Truck please see my review on The Poutine Food Truck or better yet, go visit it yourself.) We were greeted by Matty B, who's a real gem. He made me a bomb@ss Grape Soda and my sis got herself a flight of beer. He's super friendly and also, one of the owners. (And it's been a week since we went and I kept meaning to write this review sooner, so I'm sorry if you're name isn't really Matty B, but there's a picture of us for proof..) Even better than being a brewery is that they also open early for COFFEEEEEEE!!! I. Am. So. Excited. About. That. Even better than being a COOL AF brewery that makes bomb@ss Grape Soda, Craft Beer, has a poutine truck and makes coffee--- THEY USE ALL COMPOSTABLE EVERYTHING.. literally, everything. I can vouch- this place is the real deal. Go eat, drink and compost with Matty B + Co, and they don't accept tips so, just spread the word on how cool they are.

This place is a must of you are in the area. The staff is friendly, welcoming and super helpful. I am not a big beer drinker but a couple questions later and I was sipping on some suds that tickled my taste buds. They also have handcrafted sodas, coffee beverages, ciders and beer related cocktails(and more). As an added bonus, they share a space with Pinky D's, which is by far the best poutine in the state. They are not just your average poutine (though original is special due to their fabulous gravy) because they have a variety of flavors combos for just about every pallet. My favorite is the Korean BBQ which I paired with Jam Hands beer on this visit. Good drinks and food, chill atmosphere and exceptional staff make this a well rounded place any time of day. Check them out, you won't regret it!

Robert and I are more than likely there furthermost regular customers. Traveling often from Indiana to Maine on a regular schedule we always find the time to stop here. The beer is very tasteful especially if you like the IPA's. The "food truck" in the building has the best Poutine I believe I've ever had. With many options to choose from. Yeah, french fries with gravy but what can I say.

If your looking for a brewery that has something for everyone in your party, this is the place. From Italian sodas, wine, ipa, Pilsner, Scottish, saison, sour, stout, porter, hard seltzer, espresso w/ a dozen house brewed beers (give it take) at any time. Friendly, welcoming staff that treat you like family. Inside or outside with your fur baby welcome. They have an ever expanding breakfast menu. A huge plus is the poutine factory in house!!

My flight. The best one was the "straight A's American IPA's" the others were good but not my favorites of the night.

Lovely IPAs in my opinion. I even baught a growler to bring home of their beer "bock of seagulls Maibock." I had a flight of beers first and then I went for the bock and tried the Hefeweizen. Their sours are ok but I'm also not a sour beer fan lol. Matt and all the employees were really nice. I went there alone and they made me feel welcomed. I highly recommend this place. I'm going back in six weeks for sure to refill my growler.

I love a place that will allow you to order all flats, I will happily pay extra for all flats. I won't even entertain eating the upper part of the wing, too many things happening up there. I always order my wings as chicken, flavored sawdust. I've had salmonella more than once from chicken wings, but I love them too much to stop eating them. These were cooked perfectly! The burger on special was a two patty smash burger with grilled pineapple pickle onions, and a sweet Thai chili aïoli. I added fresh jalapeño and got the aïoli on the side because I wanted to see what it was like. I was really happy. I got it on the side because there was flavorless. It was basically mayonnaise that they mixed sweet Thai sauce with and called aïoli. Also, if it's a sauce that I don't know, I don't trust it, I don't want it on anything before I try it. I think that should be like rule of thumb. But the burger was awesome, I got it with dirty sweet potato fries. Which means I put some Cajun seasoning on it so it had that sweet, salty, spicy element that I love so much. They also have this delicious French pear martini on the specials menu. It was fantastic, it was fresh, bright, not overbearing. I hope that stays on the menu for a minute because it was LOVELY. And I took home a cute little dessert sampler that probably could've done without all the whipped cream over the little dessert squares, but my boys loved them!! Great place for lunch, really cool location, relaxed feel, don't forget to check out the little waterfall!!

It took about ten minutes to receive two beers and an appetizer, and there were no plates or silverware until we asked. The bartender never checked in or followed up, even when another guest nearby gave up after being ignored. The food was poor (overcooked), but the lack of basic hospitality made the entire experience feel uninviting. The food typically is average. Bartender spends her time on other employees who are eating. There have been multiple similar experiences with this bartender. The simplest way to ruin a bar is when this happens...patterns of slow service, poor communication, or unprofessional behavior that keep repeating. Same staff, languishing customer volume.

I was honestly shocked to see a real veggie option on the menu that wasn't a veggie burger (although they have that too), so I had to try the chimichurri tofu. It was cooked well - 4 slices cut thin enough to give it a good crispy exterior. The chimichurri sauce was tasty. However, it feels like whoever created this dish has never cooked with tofu before or at least not very much. My suggestion would be marinating the tofu before cooking. The chimichurri made it somewhat enjoyable (I did finish it all!) but the flavor dissolves quickly as you chew through the tofu. I think marinating it will really seal the deal on that dish. Otherwise, the service was great, very friendly and very prompt. The building is quaint and bigger than it looks from the outside. I think my entree was a little overpriced for what I got at $23, but I digress. I see the vision and wish them success.

But it wasn't all bad--I'll start with the positives! The staff were great--super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I also enjoyed the fries, which were plentiful, and the pomegranate blonde ale, which was very refreshing. Although we didn't play, I was happy to see a stack of games on the bar. We were seated upstairs at the recommendation of the hostess. The decor was a little dated but it gave me a cozy and nostalgic feel. Now to the not-so-positives. I ordered the caprese sandwich and in the first bite, I was alarmed to feel something hard, sharp, and un-chewable. Confused, I had to fish whatever it was out of my mouth and found a small piece of what felt like some kind of wood. I realized after a couple minutes that it was the same color and texture as the toothpicks that held the sandwich together. I'm not sure how it got in my mouth--maybe a piece broke off in the kitchen and got stuck in or on the sandwich--but it was the first bite and I wasn't anywhere near where the toothpicks stabbed the sandwiches. Luckily that was the only splintered piece I found in my food, but I was very cautious for the rest of the meal. Honestly, if not for this, this probably would have been a 4-star review, but it put me a little on edge for the rest of the experience. The sandwich itself was decent--the bread was a little charred, but I actually kind of prefer that myself. Caprese sandwiches are always simple and good, as long as the ingredients are decent. The worst part for me was the price. I'm happy to pay a little extra for a great meal, but $18 for a caprese sandwich feels steep. I'm not from around here, so maybe this is normal in these parts where there are limited dinner options. My wife's tofu dinner was $23 for a small portion--back home we could get twice as much tofu for half the price. I always thought city life was more expensive, but I've learned my lesson here!

Today marked the first time I have revisited since way back in February of 2019. At that point they had only been open since October 2018. Hard to remember just how much the space had changed but it is still small but not meant in a negative way at all. It's a small but inviting and well decorated space. Plenty of as you would expect Pug pictures and decor, so very cute! I appreciate that they take risks with more unique beer offerings. Including their flagship THAI.P.A that uses ginger and lemongrass and they rotate different flavors into it. Jasmine and hibiscus beers and more. More traditionally they offer a kolsch as well. They also have bottles to go and offer growler (aptly named pug jugs) to go as well. If you can't decide their smaller pours are perfect to sample multiple brews.
