I've heard about this place for at least 8 years and finally was able to go. I loved the general aeronautical/military theme inside. The beer was good, I really enjoyed Wings.

My daughter was home from grad school for the holidays so I took her here to have a drink to celebrate since we both love their products. I must say I removed a star from my previous review because of the peculiar "cleaning" going on during the height of service. Patrons enter through the brewing area which is generally cool to look at, but this time they were washing down the equipment. I understand that sanitation is important but it made the whole establishment very humid with a smell similar to a janitors mop bucket. Additionally, since the floors are concrete, the water ran out into the main seating area. Not sure why this business would do this while the place was busy with customers. The people seated at tables near us made similar comments as they had to trudge through standing water as well. I hope this was a one off experience because it certainly distracted from their otherwise excellent brews.

Blueberry hard seltzer - A clear glass filled with blueberry hard seltzer is positioned on an outdoor wooden table at Flight Deck Brewing. The glass has the brewery's logo printed on it. In the background, there are other drinks, a building with large windows, and outdoor patio furniture, indicating a casual outdoor setting at the brewery.

Only my second time at The Flight Deck and it was wonderful again! I came in with 4 other people around 4:00pm on Sunday 3/16/25. We all ordered our own beers and the 2 people pouring were great! I was having a hard time deciding which IPA to get - they have 4! And the person helping me was knowledgeable and very helpful. A few of us wanted merch and the person was so kind and patient while we tried a couple things on, asked about other things and kept them from taking orders. We were hurrying, but we never felt rushed. Beer is great, atmosphere is awesome. Small space but so light and bright! Highly recommend!

Inside tables, but most were sitting outside on picnic tables.

Stopped in, because I noticed all the people coming and going. Neat concept for a brewery, and a fun place to hang out. Seems that a lot of people were stopping here on a Friday night after work, getting together with friends and coworkers. Actually, there were planes parked at nearby hangars. Beer was good and refreshing, but the food menu was pretty limited, mainly serving pizzas with some additional bar snacks. Got the broccomole dip with chips. Also, there was entertainment that night, a singer and guitar accompaniment, playing oldies.

Outside. Loved these little huts to keep us out of the rain.

We needed a spot to stop in on our trek towards Acadia. I saw that Flight Deck had good ratings and we decided to stop in. The location is right near an airport so very on theme with Top Gun vibes. I was a big fan of the fact that you could pay for a veteran's beer. My friend and I are both daugthers of veterans so this was a sweet thing to see. They did not do beer flights (missed opportunity lol). However, they had an option to do half pours. As an indecisive beer drinker, I chose to do two half pours. We walked up to the counter and sampled a few beers before placing our order. The service was very friendly and they answered all our questions. We sat inside to begin with as it was raining, but our party of 5 felt a little cramped so we decided to move outside. There were these cute little huts that had a covering, lights, and a heater over a picnic table. These were perfect for our group to drink and play games. We hung out here for a few hours and had a blast!

    Yummy cheese pizza!

Beer & Pizza....what more could you want? Flight Deck Brewing wood fired pizzas. Dog friendly place. This is in a separate covered area but pizzas can be eaten throughout. Inside brewery, outside, to go. You will receive a text when ready. They now have an estimated wait time color coding chart. Gluten free crust option. Breadstick pizza was my fave. If you have an electric car they have two free charging stations.

Flight Deck Pizza - coming in for a landing.. - The image shows the interior of a brewery with a wooden ceiling and large windows allowing natural light. There are various seating options, including a barrel, leather armchairs, and picnic tables. A pizza oven with a copper exterior is visible in the background, with staff preparing food nearby. The space has a casual, rustic atmosphere suitable for dining and drinking.

** I'm writing this quickly as not to allow this food and bev experience to grow any bigger in my brain, I figure, it I release it now, it'll be on it's merry way and far away from me. Early pleasantries morphed into the real them after I just wanted a menu to hold - not getting the app QSR code nor going into a secret room I couldn't see across campus where they had a paper menu. So they're holding my card upfront (real POS, swipe and return to customer) so I couldn't order a pizza in the back without my card, so back I went to retrieve and close out there - and back across campus again because "it's the Point of Sale Systems fault" here's an idea, figure it out. Flight Decks front and back of the house are where the nobody's roam and feel like they are somebody's, but as night closes in and the registers aren't ringing the new visitors jingle, it's a subtle hint, then they (those behind the wood) well, their faces turn down - take that sourpuss along with you. I'm mid chew, all I wanted to do was just leave as the chuckle patch did what chuckle patches do - but out of a small circular port of call window before they figured out that opening the door would be better for their visual stupidity - for me that is. This is an important point because the unfriendliness never heeded way to giving me any feeling of being welcome - my business appreciation never was a thought. So it really doesn't matter much about the food, does it?

Today marked the first time I have revisited since way back in February of 2019. At that point they had only been open since October 2018. Hard to remember just how much the space had changed but it is still small but not meant in a negative way at all. It's a small but inviting and well decorated space. Plenty of as you would expect Pug pictures and decor, so very cute! I appreciate that they take risks with more unique beer offerings. Including their flagship THAI.P.A that uses ginger and lemongrass and they rotate different flavors into it. Jasmine and hibiscus beers and more. More traditionally they offer a kolsch as well. They also have bottles to go and offer growler (aptly named pug jugs) to go as well. If you can't decide their smaller pours are perfect to sample multiple brews. This visit my wife enjoyed their fruited sour Druidcraft and I got their smoked lager Camp Wood 4 Sale. Both tasty and well made. Friendly and knowledgeable bartenders will help find the perfect beer for you and make you feel welcome in their space. Also although we did not partake this particular weekend they were offering Christmas ornament painting, a great little craft activity! A smaller sized brewery that deserves support and is worth checking out!

They are hardworking customer focused team. Good with children and elderly folks. The food has been consistently good, temperature, quantity, flavors, textures and presentation. We have tried their burgers, pizza, bowls and appetizers. We really like their brussels sprouts, including our 3 and 6 year old family members. There's a wonderful sweet savory flavor, a nice crisp to the outside and very tender inside. The burgers and fries are very satisfying and flavorful. Most recently I discovered (realized) you can add mac and cheese to a burger. It was yummm!!! The wings, are plentiful, crispy and juicy. Be careful, because the internal temperature is VERY HOT when they first arrive. The past few times we have been the restaurant was very comfortable, not too cold or too hot. They have the ability to accommodate the 6 of us with ease on the times we have gone. This is definitely one of the core options when we are in town. Great for our whole family.

I took my wife and daughters here for cocktails to celebrate the holiday weekend. Despite a restaurant/bar that was fairly empty, it was impossible to get any member of the staff to acknowledge we were there. Once served, the drinks were excellent but it would be a very long time before anyone returned. Despite all four of us sitting with empty glasses for at least 20 minutes, the bartender and other wait staff or employees walked by us without even making eye contact. It almost became comical how we were being ignored. It didn't even seem like they were understaffed since we saw quite a few employees walking around endlessly but not seeming to accomplish anything... especially since the establishment was basically empty by the end. The final straw was when a lady who appeared to be an owner or manager arrived behind the bar. She walked by our empty drinks to have the bartender pour her a large shot of tequila (?) with a lime and down it in front of us and then proceed to chat with other employees who were doing nothing. When we finally paid our check and got up to leave, she looked at us and said something like, "thanks for coming, have a nice night!" Truly baffling. I have heard the food is good but I am having a hard time thinking of why I would put myself through that experience again.
