They all go above and beyond to make your experience a fantastic one. We had pretty much everything on the menu, as we went back several times to this location and the others. The Tom Ka Ga, took us right back to a tropical night in Thailand, soooooo good! And the pot stickers... We had dinner here last night and were sat pretty promptly at our reserved time. The restaurant was bustling with lots of happy patrons. We for sat at the table with the Gong which was entertaining after my husband hit it loudly (server said to be soft with it LOL)and the whole place was super quiet for a few seconds before a guy at the bar said that the next round was on my husbands tab! We started either the nipple platter and the curry puffs. All really good. For entrees that we ordered fried tofu hand rolls, soft shell crab banana curry, pad wooden with shrimp, beef pad Thai and Red curry chicken. For drinks we had a gin and tonic and the Lychee martinis! Yum Lychee! Desert was good too. The service was friendly and prompt. Food was delicious. Def. a good spot to hit! read more

Siam's good is so authentic and flavorful! The noodles they use are so good and they always use fresh veggies. I've only ordered take out, but they servers and staff are always very nice when I pick up my food. There is a mellow vibe inside and sometimes they have live acoustic music which adds the ambiance. read more

Had the chicken satay which was delicious The menu is a bit intimidating. Lots of traditional and fusion options (really not sure how they manage to do all of that in that tiny kitchen) I had a two noodle coconut broth with chicken and it was delicious. A north Thailand dish I was told. The ambience is relaxing and there is a full bar. Have the server guide you through the menu if you need to. This is a small spot, kind of a tight space, and based on my experience it is quite warm inside during summer. None of that seems to put anyone off. This is likely due to the fantastic food and service. We were seated directly in front of the kitchen, so not only was it even hotter, it was so loud we could not converse without raising our voices. Normally I would not put up with such nonsense, but I was aware how hard it is to get into the place, and we were lucky some folks canceled and we got in in about 15 minutes. Also I had a sense this was going to be worth it. Starting with a delicious grapefruit martini, a truly refreshing delicious drink. Highly recommended. Then we shared crab Rangoon and Siam rolls (fried spring rolls). The crab were perfection. Siam were good. I asked what dish was the most popular, or not to be missed. I was directed to the crispy duck with choo-chee curry. This is sliced boneless duck breast. I suspect a light breading and quick deep fry makes this duck fantastic. There was a lot of duck and sauce, and a bit light on veggies. There was so much duck I took half the dish home. In my younger days I would have happily plowed through the whole dish, but these days I try not to stuff myself at dinner. She had short rib in a curry. She loved it. Even though It seemed more rich than my duck, she finished every bite. This place rivals any Thai restaurant in Dallas as the food and service are simply top shelf. I only knock it due to the poor seating (tables are very tight), noise level (high near the kitchen) and the heat. I suspect if I were seated on the patio all this would be moot and my overall experience 5 stars. I will gladly return! read more

They are currently doing takeout only due to COVID and have long wait times. Tried to contact management twice before writing this review but never received any response. Unfortunately the negative reviews are correct this place doesn't give a hoot about their customers and are only after the $$$. Had family visiting and placed a very large takeout order. When we went to pick it up we asked for it to be bagged in 4 bags instead of 2 so the bags wouldn't rip open on the walk home. They refused to rebag the order and rudely told us that the bags were fine and would not tear. Not only did they tear through on two sides but the curry spilled all over my son's shoes, coat, and pants. So angry that we were charged over $60 in service charges for such horrible service and they couldn't spare 2 extra brown paper bags on an order that was over $400. Totally inexcusable! You've lost a loyal customer and I will no longer be recommending you to friends. read more

If you order take-out, plan to order way ahead of time. We ordered take-out from Siam we had to wait about an hour extra, which wasn't the problem because I understand places get busy. And plus, the food looked great so it was worth the wait. While we're waiting out front, others are getting handed take out food when we realize ours is taking a bit longer. Another customer comes back to the restaurant with their takeout food and tells the host that it wasn't his and leaves (it was our order, with our name on it). Not 2 minutes later our food is "ready". We ask if this food was remade (obviously not) and we could hear the kitchen/ management admit they were trying to give us back the food this other customer had and probably already opened. Needless to say we left. I am leaving 1 star because the food looked good, but I do not see us coming back after that experience. read more

Came to Siam on a Monday evening with 3 ppl. We called around 6pm and they said they were booked for the night but when we went online we were able to make a reservation for 845pm and did just that! Was happy we were able to score this res and try this Thai spot that tons of locals and visitors rave about. It's a pretty casual vibe on the inside and very reasonably priced. My group split crab rangoons, steamed dumplings, lettuce wraps with chicken, and a shrimp pad Thai dish. We weren't starving but this was the perfect amount of food for us. I think the whole bill with a few beers and tax came to $65. Not bad!! Would definitely recommend. Not sure why the yelp rating wasn't higher on here. read more

I was a little skeptical about Thai food in the middle of the mountains in telluride, and let me just say it was absolutely the BEST Thai food I've ever had. We had 10 people in our party, everyone ordered something different and it was all delicious. I personally had the chicken pad Thai and was blown away. The drunken noodles were delicious too. It's a small restaurant so reservations are a must or you'll never get in. Only downside was no hand rolls on a Sunday night. I believe the waiter said only Saturday and Sunday. Excited to eat at Siam EACH TIME we visit Telluride! We traveled through a blizzard to get there and surprisingly it was packed! Warm greetings upon entry, seated right away, attentive and accurate service- we love the friendly staff. But let's talk about the food. We've ordered practically each item on the menu and everything is absolutely delicious-the best Thai food not just in Telluride, but anywhere (and we are from Los Angeles)! Drunken Noodles are the best you'll have and the KAO SOI with short rib was phenomenal. Shrimp tempura appetizer and dumplings are amongst the best we've had. Cocktails are delicious too. Delish in every way. Friendly staff. Small but worth the wait. The short rib curry is unbelievable

Food is fine but they messed up our takeout order two nights in a row (each order was just two dishes). First night we stopped in and asked to place a to go order - we were told that we had to order online and to go orders were about an hour wait. I ordered our two dishes online and then was quoted a 2.5 hour wait time. Tried calling the restaurant to see if that was right and their phone systems don't actually connect you to anyone so I texted and they said the wait time is accurate. Cancelled the order and asked for a refund - right when they responded to that, I got a text that our order was ready. So we had to go BACK to the restaurant to confirm they were refunding our $80 (for two dishes mind you). We had to get food down the street and didn't end up eating dinner until almost 10pm. Tonight - we placed an order (for the same two dishes, again $80) at 6:30pm and were quoted 100 minutes wait time. Show up at the restaurant at the pick up time and were told "we're running 20 mins behind on all pickup orders - we texted everyone but forgot to text you". All this while there were empty tables inside. So second night in a row they didn't get their act together and really messed up our dinner plans. Would recommend choosing literally anywhere else in town - not worth the hassle. read more

We also tried the Penang Curry, chicken fried rice, and that combination lead for an excellence fulfilling dinner.
