This is the most bland Thai food ever whoever calls this authentic hasn't had the pleasure of eating real Thai food. We had the pad Thai (dry and bland), the fried rice also bland but greasy and the basil beef some mild flavors. The fresh spring role filled with just a bunch of cabbage. What a disappointment considering the review!

One of my favorite spots. This is super solid no frills authentic Thai. Prices are incredibly right, portions huge, and the owner gentleman is very nice. I usually order takeout and never a complaint. There were nine (!) shrimp in my L Tom Yum soup and the tray of spicy (drunken style) noodles weighed like a brick. Just can't beat the value!

Can't beat Siam Cafe service! With a family run business usually comes smiling faces when new customers walk in. We were welcomed and sat immediately when arriving to Siam Cafe. The dumplings- amazing!! great flavor, not too filling to make sure you have room for your main meal. We got green curry, red curry, and pad thai. The pad Thai was perfectly cooked and fresh. The curries were extremely satisfying. Very pleased with our time at Siam cafe, will definitely be back!

I have been to Siam enough to say that they offer some of the finest Thai food in Nashville. The establishment has been around since 1976 in a small divey restaurant off Nolensville Road and McCall Street. Though you might hate the parking situation upon arrival that might dampen the beginning; fear not! Your experience will get better once you've had the cuisine and the service. Do bear in mind that parking is available in front of the restaurant, but it is extremely limited. There is street parking on McCall. Be careful to not obstruct driveways or park in other business lots unaffiliated with the restaurant. If you happen to receive Air (that's her name) as your server, be prepared for a good laugh and an experience. She is full of personality and usually in good jest. Generally, service is decent and you will find yourself well attended. I really like the food. They can turn up the heat on the spice if you want it. I cannot handle the heat and find the food still flavorful even with no spice. They are pretty catering to the consumer when it comes to their desired taste and heat offering a good variety even for the finicky eater. My go-to's for meals are usually the Pad Thai, the coconut milk, chicken and mushroom soup, Thai tea, spring rolls, and Lad Na. I hope you guys check it out sometime. Yes, Nashville has a growing food scene, but do not forget the OG's that still have a leg in the race for good food and authentic feels.

Talk about having missed out on a Nashville Gem! It took me almost 7 years but I made it and I'm so grateful! My first restaurant sit down meal since the pandemonium began and I'm so happy I could cry. This place is a perfect description of do not judge a book by its cover. The PROS and it's all pros from here on out: You walk in and immediately greeted by a friendly kind soul - the owner! You sit and you look and the menu. All of it explained, tons of options, explanation of heat levels and did I mention tons of options! I can't make up my mind (mb a con?). I get the Tiger Tear - it's a salad let that simmer for a moment. Also order the fried spring roll. My friend gets I can't remember the name but I can point it out on the menu so don't judge me! And the dumplings. Dumplings & rolls on deck - perfect to share. Just enough to savor but not enough to fill you up. The best part both were delicious. If I'm biased the DUMPLINGS WERE AMAZING! Flavorful and stuffed. The rolls were good, thin shell and crispy. Then after getting refills (the attention to detail - our cups were never ever empty!) we get our meals and welp right here I can tell you that the delicious aroma is enough to know I'm going back, like tomorrow! The shrimp dish was spectacular, generous amount of shrimp, the broccoli was soft enough with a crisp the heat was perfect and it was soooooo tasty! My salad you may ask - the most amazing tender well seasoned beef I've had in Nashville! It was a TON of beef over lettuce (iceberg but if you are going to judge then greens when the beef is so good we can't be friends) and red onions in a delicious marinade that was spicy but not burning. The spice level of both dishes just made it better. The owner was also our waiter and was simply wonderful. If you are looking for a great Thai restaurant in Nashville Siam is the place to go.

The window bar area and outdoor seating is pretty cool too. It was nice that they had the games on too. The food was pretty bomb. The pimento Mack & cheese was ok. Left a lot to be desired. The baked beans were legit. The banana bread pudding was amazing. In addition to, this was some of the best chicken I've ever had, hence the review. The spices were on point, the crispness to perfection, the meat and the size of the wings were well proportioned and some of the biggest ones I've seen. Next time I'm here, I'll try some other sides, but the chicken is what they're known for and they're excellent in their craft. Go check this place out if you haven't been, you won't regret it!!!

Honestly a bit overhyped and a bit of a letdown for me. As with many popular places, the line goes…read moreout the door, but with the registers and time you'll have waiting in line, the orders get placed quickly. Next is finding a place to sit, which can be hard during busy times. Hattie B's has 5 different spice levels (mild, medium, hot, damn hot, and shut the cluck up) to choose from. I got the tenders plate with the damn hot spice level with mac and cheese and fries on the side. Honestly, the sides were the best part of my meal. The fries were crispy on the outside without being too soggy in the center and the mac and cheese was creamy and didn't solidify/congeal over the course of my meal. The disappointing part was the chicken itself. The damn hot wasn't so much spicy as much as it was gratuitously spiced. I was able to tolerate the heat level, but I could see the different layers of spice that the tenders were prepared with. All I could taste was the taste of peppers and couldn't really taste the chicken at all. The taste of the chicken seemed to be consumed by the peppers. Sure, it was a bucket list thing for me to try, but it was at the cost of enjoying my fried chicken. I'm sure the lesser heat levels are more enjoyable, but I don't think I'd come back unless someone in my group was passionate about trying the chicken.

I can only write a Pros and Cons as I…read morewant to be fair Pros 1) selection of oysters is fantastic 2) the Shuckers really are carrying the bar seating 3) everyone is super nice Cons 1) now remember I was at the bar seating, Other than the shuckers and who I think are awesome. On one visit with only a few of us there our bartender disappeared for a good 20 minutes. Upon his return he was focused on everything but the 5 of us in the place until we finally had to ask to get service. The other visit everyone helped me but the actual server. Maybe this is a staffing problem, I don't know but being stuck for 20 minutes to order another drink with my meal is not acceptable. Although they had that check in my hand in under a minute and in under another minute to process. Again, super nicer people, but kind of oblivious. 2) Now let's talk about the kitchen. And I'm adding some input from the other diners because we all sat there waiting. - flavors are great, but the salt and spice level is overboard. I had the mushroom appetizer and nearly choked/coughed to death. I like heat but this was raw spice that overpowered the dish. And the salt about made my feet swell into balloons. Such a shame because the idea is great just poor execution - deviled eggs. Pass - BBQ Shrimp, sort of like the mushrooms right profile but overpowering - gumbo. Two other people had the gumbo and when I asked they said that too is just over spiced I want to like this place, but probably my last visit unless I just come for oysters. Sorry
