It isn't just the pleasant establishment filled with really happy customers constantly expressing how wonderful their meal is. It isn't just the amazing food that tastes better than at any other Thai restaurant I've ever eaten at. It isn't the impeccable service that never falters except perhaps allowing the water glass to empty without noticing. And it isn't just. It is a combination of all of those things along with the family owned business with the owners on site making sure not only that every meal is perfect but also that every customer feels welcome. I just love this place. The see-through rolls are my very favorite appetizer. I usually get the shrimp but they must've misheard me and they served me chicken. I didn't see chicken on the menu. And I would've sent it back except it was so darn good that I may actually order it from time to time. The spring rolls are also quite good though I didn't have them this visit. Today's choice was the duck in a madaman curry. Served with jasmine rice it was outstanding. The flavors were so good and the duck was excellent. Everything was cooked perfectly. I savored every bite. My wife had the pad Thai. I have had it several times and been extremely satisfied. Many restaurants make it a bit too sweet but somehow they get the balance of Sweet n Savory perfect every time. The noodles are wonderful, but the flavor of the dish is memorable. For Thai food in the area they're actually is absolutely no other choice as far as I'm concerned. This is the best. I have yet to find anything that they don't make better than anywhere else. This restaurant is a quiet gem tucked away in Kendall. It's affordable and has excellent food, I had the Red Curry. It was excellent and high-quality food, highly recommend! Update: The only downside of this restaurant is that since it's family-run, they only have so many people working there. Service was slow the last time that I went to the point where we had to wave at one of the servers to get our bill. I still love family-run businesses and it means a lot to me when a restaurant is one. read more

The food is absolutely delicious it reminds me of the places back in CA where we have tons of delicious Thai food! Yes it can get a little packed and perhaps a bit of a wait at times but it is worth it!!! We had the pad se we noodles with chicken, the katsuya teriyaki chicken, volcano chicken, chicken saatay, spring rolls and finished it with the mango and sticky rice! These things were ordered across different visits but the curry is a bowl with rice on the side and it is very filling by 6'4 foot husband get full off this alone. Every time we would go we would try to see if we would get dessert and were never able to due to the fact that the food alone is that filling. The mild spicy level for the curry is not bad it has a very minimal feeling of spice but nothing bad where I would give it to my son but he is a picky eater and would not try the curry. The pad thai and fried rice were good as well and filling and the teriyaki chicken without veggies is a good size for kids. Depending on ow much you eat one meal will fill you up fully or you can take what you dont eat home. Value I think it is fairly priced due to the fact that you will not stay hungry and you might even be able to take some home, the food is also good in flavor as well. Ambiance/Crowd I saw all ages when I would go, it is laid back but I saw people dressed up and dressed down. Service I have no complaints about the service they were phenomenal. This is a far cry from Thai food... Ordered a takeout - papaya salad, two drunken noodles, one with pork one with chicken and vegetable pad thai. We asked for one dish not to have spice, as the person who it was for doesn't tolerate spice. Anyway, none of our dishes had ANY heat or kick or flavor or spice, none of them. I've never tried papaya salad that was so bland and lacked any kick whatsoever. Drunken noodles were bland and flavorless, with low quality overcooked flavorless pork and overcooked chicken bits. The staff was very attentive and gave us recommendations. You can tell this place was very authentic. We had no idea what size the soups would be but they didn't disappoint. This is one our favorite restaurants in Miami! This little-known secret has some of the most delicious food around in a warm and cozy atmosphere that is family-run. This is the steak with shrimp which was truly mouth watering. It comes out sizzling as they pour over the savory sauce. Our other favorite is the pad Thai. It's relatively small, but cozy, clean and traditionally decorated. We ordered the calamari, Volcano Chicken and Pad Thai. All the food arrived quickly and was well presented. The calamari and Volcano Chicken were both lightly fried and crisp- very tasty. The Pad Thai was good but just a tad too sweet for our liking. A gem of a restaurant. My wife and I had lunch here and we were not disappointed. I had the Volcano Squid lunch special and it was just the right amount of heat along with a delicious Sweet Thai Chili sauce. The server was very friendly and prompt in her service. Even when they got busy, she was sure to check on us in a reasonable manner. We were one of the only tables when we arrived for our early lunch but by the time we were leaving most tables were taken. Went to eat fri Jun 20 had usual plate. I have eaten here few times before but this time the terrible service from the lady who brings the food got to me. The food is great, good taste and reasonable portions, yet her service is absolutely disgusting. She approached the table, not a "good afternoon" or "hello" on her behalf. She took order and came back and place food on table as is she was been forced to. She never came back to ask is everything ok. We needed an extra thing and had to almost yell it to her while she was sitting in the other corner of the restaurant. The gentleman in the cashier is the only person who is nice. I dont need her attitude when I am eating there, she is not giving me the food for free or anything. To be honest her attitude made me feel unwelcomed.
