Cooking the Satay at the table was definitely the highlight for our girl!

The food is absolutely delicious it reminds me of the places back in CA where we have tons of delicious Thai food! Yes it can get a little packed and perhaps a bit of a wait at times but it is worth it!!! We had the pad se we noodles with chicken, the katsuya teriyaki chicken, volcano chicken, chicken saatay, spring rolls and finished it with the mango and sticky rice! I think is pretty affordable compared to other places and the quality you can beat. Service is always 10/10 just like the food!

This restaurant is the BEST Thai food I have had in Miami. It is a very mom and pop authentic restaurant. If you're looking for a quiet place to have yummy authentic food for GREAT prices, please do yourself a favor and go.

Red Curry

This restaurant is a quiet gem tucked away in Kendall. It's affordable and has excellent food, I had the Red Curry. It was excellent and high-quality food, highly recommend! Update: The only downside of this restaurant is that since it's family-run, they only have so many people working there. Service was slow the last time that I went to the point where we had to wave at one of the servers to get our bill. I still love family-run businesses and it means a lot to me when a restaurant is one.

Found this place just going through the shopping center and figured why not give it a try. We were the only ones in there around 5pm. The service was fantastic and everything came out quickly. The ambiance is very homey and cozy. Unfortunately we got full off the appetizer and beer but we did take out leftovers. Everything was extremely fresh and well seasoned. Glad we found this place because we WILL be coming back for more.

Description A thai restaurant located in a large shopping center which was introduced to me by my friend. That was mistake number one because this place was sooooooo good that I went 5 times in the span of two weeks. Thanks Becky. What I ordered Mild spice massaman curry with rice, pad thai, fried rice, teriyaki chicken for my son. We also got spring rolls which were delicious and my son even enjoyed. These things were ordered across different visits but the curry is a bowl with rice on the side and it is very filling by 6'4 foot husband get full off this alone. Every time we would go we would try to see if we would get dessert and were never able to due to the fact that the food alone is that filling. The mild spicy level for the curry is not bad it has a very minimal feeling of spice but nothing bad where I would give it to my son but he is a picky eater and would not try the curry. The pad thai and fried rice were good as well and filling and the teriyaki chicken without veggies is a good size for kids. Depending on ow much you eat one meal will fill you up fully or you can take what you dont eat home. Value I think it is fairly priced due to the fact that you will not stay hungry and you might even be able to take some home, the food is also good in flavor as well. Ambiance/Crowd I saw all ages when I would go, it is laid back but I saw people dressed up and dressed down. Service I have no complaints about the service they were phenomenal. Parking Since this is located in a shopping center with many other places there is a lot of parking available I was normally going around 6/7pm and we never had an issue parking due to the fact that some of the stores there were already closed by that time. 5 year olds thought corner He ate the whole teriyaki chicken (without veggies because if you ask for it comes with veggies) and rice and then gave a thumbs up stating it was good.

A beautiful and utterly delicious Massaman Curry. Wonderful!

My wife and I have enjoyed dining here for many years. Every time, Sam's (Owner) smile and hospitality are truly special! This time, my wife had the Massaman Curry; I had Crispy Duck (my usual; a house specialty). Everything was delicious, but my wife's dish was a feast for the eyes as well! Rich and round flavors, spice and richness in every bite! Cannot wait until our next visit - which will doubtless be very soon! Perhaps we will meet you there, and we are certain Sam will greet you warmly! Five stars!

Always very clean and well maintained. Owner and wife always present to mingle with customers. Food is delicious as always. If you want more details please refer to my earlier reviews here.

Pad Woo Sen ! Sensational! The take-out portion size was amazing too!

I came here to scratch a sushi itch and received a deep tissue massage…read more I must preface that I am a sushi snob. I have walked out of places that served fishy fish. Then there's the other end of the spectrum -- the kind of restaurant that reminds you why sushi can feel less like dinner and more like art, hospitality, and therapy in one sitting. Uchiko Miami sits firmly in that category. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance struck the perfect balance between modern elegance and traditional Japanese warmth. It feels refined without being cold, stylish without trying too hard, and intimate without feeling small. Every detail seems intentional. The food was exceptional, but what elevated the night was the experience around it. The fish was clean, precise, and beautifully handled. Every bite had that rare quality where you pause for a second because you don't want to rush past it. The flavors were layered, balanced, and surprising in the best way. The service was just as memorable. The staff were welcoming from the start, and my server turned the evening into something personal. I ordered what I came for, but kept being gifted thoughtful additions that made the meal feel curated rather than transactional. It is rare to feel both spoiled and completely at ease, but that is exactly what happened. Uchiko did not just satisfy a sushi craving. It reset the bar. This was one of those meals where you leave already thinking about when you can come back.

Uchiko has always been one of my favorite restaurants in Miami Beach, and until today I have…read moreconsistently given it five-star reviews. My wife and I arrived at 6:15 PM for happy hour, but our server didn't come to the table for about 10 minutes. When they finally arrived, we were told happy hour was over and we could not order any happy hour items. I spoke with the manager and explained that we had arrived before the cutoff and only missed it because nobody came to our table. While I understand having rules, I was surprised they wouldn't even honor a happy hour drink for my wife and me given the circumstances. The issue wasn't the discount--it was the lack of flexibility and customer service. After being told there was nothing they could do, we decided to leave. Still a great restaurant with excellent food, but this was a disappointing experience.

Being new to the area, I love the experience of trying new places each time I go out. I could not…read morefollow that rule with Kuffo though...this restaurant is simply too good to not return again and again. The restaurant is named after the owner's grandma. How can anybody not appreciate a guy that loves his grandma? But there is more to Fernando than just that. He actually sums it up on his website when he writes, "cooking is my passion my real joy comes from making my guests happy." Having been there a few times now, I have grown certain that these are not just words. This sentiment comes from the heart and is evident in not just the amazing food, the attentive service, and the beautiful decor but also in the personal attention he shows every customer. It is not just business to him, it is personal. The food here is spectacular. So far I have tried a bento box which included miso soup, chicken padthai, and sashimi. The combination of flavors, the freshness of the fish, and the presentation were outstanding. I believe the dashi base for the soup must be made from scratch because the soup is so flavorful but, if not, I must find out where he gets it. The fish is nicely portioned and of a high quality. The padthai is not overly sweet like at so many restaurants which allows you to enjoy the perfect balance of savory ingredients including the perfectly cooked noodles. The portion is generous...enough to take some home. I have also had the Mongolian Chicken and the Ginger Glazed Salmon. Each of these were excellent, again sharing that perfect balance of flavors. I would call each of these dishes memorable. The only appetizer I have tried is the gyoza. It was outstanding. I like them fried but not oily, crispy on one side, with moist and not over-seasoned filling. These surpassed my expectations. The word perfect comes to mind. The only reason I have not tried any other appetizers is because the main courses are so generous. For the same reason I have yet to try dessert. I have also not tried any of the side dishes. Strangely, I have ordered sweet plantains twice, but for some reason, they were not served to me either time so I cannot comment on them. The experience was so good that is strange omission did not distract from the experience of the meal. The services is simply outstanding, the food is great and the vibe of the restaurant just creates a wonderful dynamic experience. But again what puts it over the top is the personal intention of the owner who treats us like we are his most valuable customer ever every time we walk in. And we will walk in. Often. kuffo is that good!

The tender, flavorful salmon was cooked to perfection, and the teriyaki sauce was a delectable complement. Additionally, the Lomo Saltado was equally delicious; its savory and zesty flavors made it a must-try. I highly recommend this restaurant for a delightful Asian culinary journey. Not only was the food outstanding at Kuffo, but the service was also exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant's cozy and cute ambiance added to the overall charm, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's the perfect place for a nice chill dinner or lunch.

Refreshing drinks and a beautiful atmosphere…read more Stopped by Sovereign in Miami and tried the Thai tea latte and Butterfly Lychee. The Thai tea latte was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with that classic bold tea flavor and subtle sweetness. The Butterfly Lychee was refreshing, light, and visually stunning, with a delicate floral note and fruity lychee flavor that made it feel perfect for Miami's warm weather. Service was friendly and welcoming, and the staff were happy to answer questions about the drink menu. The vibe is modern, stylish, and relaxing, with a beautiful interior that makes it a great place to catch up with friends, work remotely, or simply enjoy a drink. The space feels thoughtfully designed and inviting. Overall, a lovely café experience with well-crafted drinks and a great atmosphere. With that being said of course we had to try the "Caviar Bump" that comes with a shot of tequila (Blanco or reposado) and Close to Midnight. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance and location created the perfect atmosphere for a special evening. The food truly exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend the Miso Black Cod -- it was phenomenal and had the same rich, buttery texture as Chilean sea bass. Absolutely delicious. The Wagyu Burger was also outstanding -- freshly ground, high quality, and cooked perfectly. We also tried one of their sushi rolls topped with miso and filled with fresh tuna and salmon, and it was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. You can really taste the quality in every bite. Our server (I didn't catch her name -- an Asian woman, possibly in her 40s) was wonderful and made our experience even more enjoyable with her attentive and warm service. The covered terrace is stunning -- Japanese paper lanterns, string lights, tropical foliage. The Dragon Fruit Lemonade mocktails arrived orchid-garnished and vivid fuchsia. My Wahakan Old Fashioned came with a single spherical ice ball in a crystal-cut glass. Food highlights: Baby Corn in parmesan cream with paprika was the dish of the night. Crispy Truffle Fried Rice hearty and satisfying. Miso soup clean. Salmon Furai solid. Sushi enjoyable though the rice lacks the refinement of Miami's top raw bars. Vegetarians: limited options -- one Veggie Roll and uncertain tofu preparation when we asked to add it to the rice. Service warm but plates were cleared twice while we were still eating. On billing: 20% service charge added automatically, then the receipt suggests an extra 2-5% tip on top -- worth knowing upfront. OpenTable users: if you're redeeming a Dining Reward card, the staff hadn't encountered one before -- but the manager handled it graciously and honored the full amount without issue. Family-friendly, fair value, genuinely memorable evening.
