He easily could have up-sold me for more than I needed, but instead, made suggestions on what would best suit my needs and budget.. I made my selections, and he took laser measurements for the two windows I was having new shades made for. He told me there would be a 3-4 week lead time from the manufacturer, since they are custom made to fit each application. About three weeks after he first came to measure, he returned and installed the new shades. He worked very cleanly, putting down a small quilt on my floor to prevent damage and dirt. I absolutely could not be happier with the shades or his workmanship. These folks are friendly, very professional and a pleasure to do business with. And as always, you get what you pay for. After several emails and phone conversations, they now tell me they need to replace cross bar attached to my house,($400), and the labor is 6-8 hours or $1850, about a third of what I paid for it only 2 years ago!! Sent them an email communicating my displeasure, and never heard back. Either the install wasn't done correctly, or it wasn't designed to work reliably. Would not recommend them.

Not the cheapest nor the most expensive, but the only company to provide an in-home demo of the actual windows we were purchasing. With such a big home improvement project, you want to feel confident that you made the right choice. Shortly after signing the paperwork, they sent someone out to measure. Then we waited quite a while for the job to be scheduled. Unfortunately, installation occurred during a weeklong heat wave. Yet the guys rarely complained, and spent four full days installing our windows. If I have any complaints, it's about their after sale customer service. The day our installation wrapped up, I noticed a slash in one of the screens, and was assured they'd order a replacement and have it sent to us. Three months later we still had no screen, so my husband and I started calling. Every call was treated as a brand new sales call and no one seemed to know anything about our replacement screen. Finally, someone came out and made us a new screen onsite. However, he re-screened it too tightly, and the frame warped. More phone calls and more confusion on their part made us feel like we were in the twilight zone. Ultimately, we took the frame to their office and they fixed it there, which was an additional inconvenience. Other than these few snafus, we're happy with the work.
