Jonathan is so creative and he has an impeccable eye for details from fixtures to finishes and beyond that really elevate your experience in the space. For example, it was Jonathan's idea to put a rain shower head over the shower bench and every time I sit there and rinse the stress of the day away I think of what a genius he is. Jonathan is patient with his clients and takes the time to answer questions and discuss the details. This is especially important for first time home renovators! He also really respects your personal tastes and tries to create a space that reflects that. One thing you may not know if you haven't renovated before is that the decisions you have to make don't stop once the build begins. Questions will come up from your contractor. I really appreciated how available Jonathan continued to be throughout the build. He even met with our contractor to go through some details and questions. It was so helpful to have him as a trusted resource throughout the project. We look forward to working with Jonathan again on another project.

Lana has designed two baths for us and is working with contractors she found for the project. She is AMAZING. Brilliant, kind, patient, GREAT TASTE, and she thinks of so many things we never could have, big and small. Our only frustration is not knowing how much things will cost when making decisions about the design, but this is an industry not a Lana problem. We love working with Lana and would hire her and the Jonathans again for any project. The contractors are wonderful too (Hovan Brothers), and it's helpful that they work well together. Oh and you really do need the digital renderings that the Jonathans will tell you you need... take it from someone who wasted a lot of money trying to work with a cheaper designer before hiring The Jonathans.

We would 1,000% hire Dream Kitchen Designs again!…read more We wanted to completely renovate our kitchen, and compared quotes from a local business, Dream Kitchen Designs (a.k.a. DKD) and a big box store (Lowe's). Right from the beginning, DKD was extremely responsive and personable, whereas Lowe's was the complete opposite. We decided to stay local and hire DKD, and we are so incredibly happy that we did! Quoting: Andrei and Andreea always answered our many questions (big and small). Whereas, we had trouble getting in touch with our Lowe's kitchen contact based on her store schedule and lack of a direct extension. DKD also easily beat Lowe's prices (Lowe's subcontracts so their prices were inflated). Also, DKD allows you to buy whatever materials (flooring, backsplash tile, grout, lighting, etc.) from whatever store you choose, whereas at Lowe's, you must buy from their limited choices. Timeliness: Andrei and his crew were on time every single day, and worked diligently and meticulously. These guys don't waste time. They also asked to work each Saturday, which we were always cool with. Quality: All of the work was superb (complete demo, new floors, new cabinets, new countertop, updated electrical & plumbing, painting, etc.) and finished within the estimated timeframes initially given. There was a great sense of care and attention to detail for each phase of the installation. We're **beyond thrilled** with the final results! Communication: Andrei and Andreea's communication was always clear and frequent, which we especially appreciated. It was very personalized service and Andrei is very open to phone calls and text messages. Note: DKD may seem new since they opened the kitchen storefront 2 years ago, but Andrei and his team have been in business for many years. She's a positive force and as I tell all my loved ones: "she works magic" I had received wedding dress with 7 months left and it fit PERFECT and only needed height tailoring. Try it with 4 months left, still perfect. 1 month of working out later with 3 months left to the wedding, I gained muscle, the dress didn't fit anymore and I was panicking. Linda came up with many options on how to make this work. She also engrained in me the most important part about dress shopping for the wedding: "the dress fits to you, not you fitting into the dress" and it changed the way I looked at the process. She made me feel positive about my body and feeling good for the wedding. I got my Chinese tea ceremony dress with 2 months to go as well. It needed minor tailoring in the sleeves and to be taken in. Linda also took this on in addition to the white wedding gown. Everything was perfect. Linda even took time in the last appointment to ensure my sister knew how to tie up the dress and latch the bustle. I'm a first generation Asian American and don't know much about western / American wedding culture and traditions. Linda made sure she educated me and I trusted her all the way. She was absolutely worth driving from Hartford to Bridgeport all of the weeks for fittings, and was even flexible when one appointment I had a family emergency and she was able to make it all work. As I got to know Linda more, I learned she's studied fashion design and has a degree in it, she's got 35+ years of experience, and has even made wedding gowns from scratch if you give her enough time.
