We took samples home to get a better sense of how the carpet would look. VARIETIES - there were plenty of brands and designs to choose from. We went with a highly customized design/boarder with a durable Nylon. DELIVERY - given COVID and the supply chain it took a little over 7 weeks to get the carpet made. INSTALLATION - once carpet was in CT they delivered the next morning. Our installer couldn't have been more congenial, professional and knowledgeable. He even gave us great tips on cleaning etc. PRICING - was fair but with custom designs and higher quality it will cost more.

The very next day George contacted me to follow up with the install. He was extremely helpful and caring and worked on replacing the thin carpet with a plush version. He was able to work with the manufacturer of the thin carpet to absorb the cost of full replacement within a month at no cost to me. I offered to pay for the extra install labor but George refused my offer. I am completely satisfied with the plush carpet and great outcome. We have dogs, and need a runner for the dog's security running down the stairs. We realized the stairs looked so good it needed a runner that was just as nice. A nice oriental pattern maybe? However, we have what I now realize is "pie steps" at the bottom landing - so that meant we could only do non-patterned runner - and the oak treads were too nice to allow that. So, we found Creative Carpet, because they could do the apparently IMPSSIBLE: custom weave a patterned stair runner so it flawlessly meets the pattern at the angles of our stairs! This was in 2011 - I'm writing this now in 2018 (almost 2019) because we're cleaning carpets, and the stair runner has held up so well - you'd never know it was installed 7 years ago!
