I enjoyed everything about this place! The food was magnificent and the customer service was incredible!! I would eat this again!!

Make sure to call in order if you want it to go, they take about 20 minutes on a day that's not so busy. I'm an American, Oklahoma resident, Make sure to tell them to trim the fat off the beef if you're not a fan of fat on your beef. This spot serves great food, the beef is really good in the Okra and Egusi Soups! A great place to experience authentic foods. read more

Food is great, people are very kind to me every visit. I would recommend to anyone who loves African good.

My wife and I went to this resturant today picked up food to go spent $57.00. We ordered Talapia with Jolluf rice and Vegetable soup greens with Goats meat. The Talapia was hard, dry and very old! NOT SUITABLE for CONSUMPTION! The Vegetable soup was okay especially the greens but the goats meat was tough. I would not recommend this place to anyone that does not want FOOD POISIONING!!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!! read more

All I have to say is YES! Not only was the food delicious, but my customer service experience here was amazing. I work in the evenings so I typically don't get off until 10 o'clock. However, my job was slow that day so I was able to leave around 9:20 pm . I was craving African food and noticed that this place was still open. So I called in and placed an order . The lady on the phone was super kind but also let me know that they would be closing shortly so to get there as soon as possible. Once I arrived, they had my food ready for me at the front and the lady that I spoke with on the phone was so personable. Not only was I greeted with a smile, but she even gave me some suggestions on what I should try next time. Typically, what I have noticed is when people are about to close and they are ready to go home the level of customer service isn't all that good. But for her to be so nice and smiling and genuinely kind. I could tell, not only did she love her job, but she knew I would be back. The food was so good and I can not wait to go back ! excellent food excelled customer service ! read more

Once again I failed to read yelp reviews before eating at a restaurant and paid for it. Like a number of reviews state the meat portions are very small- I ordered the goat and rice and received 3 small pieces of goat most of which were bone. One piece was a vertebrae with practically no meat on it. When I asked the owner about portions he said it was due to covid. Sure. The rice wasn't bad, but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

My experience here was absolutely horrible. First, we came in and there was no one at the counter. We waited for over 10 minutes ringing the bell at the front. Finally, we were seated. We then waited another 10 minutes to have our order taken. Mind you, it was empty other than us and 2 other groups that already had their food. Finally, the same employee who came to seat us came to take our order. We all ordered our food, and 10 minutes later 30% of the food came. No utelsils. We had to remind the server that we needed utensils. Another 5 minutes and 90% of the food came. Bringing more utensils. One particular plate of food had a bug on the edge of the plate when served! One of our orders took another 15 minutes to come, and then it was complete. During that time, a group of over 10 people came in. We had to continuously remind them that we hadn't gotten all of our food. They tried to tend to the group that just arrived after we had been there for over half an hour. In fact, before the bulk of our order came, part of the other group had their food! Another thing (from a business perspective) are the overly large portions. Rice could easily be divided into 4 and soup could be divided into 2 to 3. We all went home with leftovers because again, the portions are ridiculous. That's unnecessary money down the drain that can be reinvested into the appearance of the restaurant. Finally, one of the 2 employees working tbat day asked for a tip. I couldn't help but laugh. A tip? For below par service? I think not. If I had to give my experience a grade, it would be a D at best. Disorganized, slow, dirty mess. read more

it's cold outside and i really wanted some goat meat pepper soup. I just didn't want to make it myself. I really really wish I had. I would have saved myself $13. this was just basically boiled goat meat in its water. where was the spice, the pepper, the uziza, uda? it was overly salty. that was all I could taste. the few reviews this place had was what led me to order today. I don't know if I would come back to try other things now. my only positive was that the meat was soft. I liked that, some naija places will serve u hard meat. I will looking for a good naija restaurant.. this is why I miss Houston. it's been a hit or miss in dallas read more

I placed a to go order... big mistake. The minute I walked up and saw mandatory masking I knew I had made a mistake. The food got worse from there. We were so excited when we walked in because it smelled like good food. We got the Jollof Rice with mackerel fish and Jollof rice with Goat. The Jollof rice lacked flavor and was very peppery. And based on my experience and reviews I've read the meat of any and everything is mostly bones and is very cheap. The goat barely had any meat on it and mostly bones same with the mackerel. I won't be going there again. read more

Where do I start. Okay lets start with my daughter and I wanted to do something exciting during spring break. We decided to try a few Nigerian food dishes so we found this restaurant on yelp. When we walked in there was an older lady that sat at the table so we asked do we order here she nodded her head so we assumed that meant yes. Oh and she states they are in the back. My daughter and I looked over the menu for a few and then we noticed a bell. I rang the bell and a young women appeared from the kitchen, I greet her with hello and she greets us with DID YOU CALL. I say no were we supposed to and she says no. So i say its okay if we have to wait and she says yes i know. We order #3 Egusi soup and #11 jollif rice. The young lady takes the ticket and walks to the back. She comes out a few times with other orders and looks at us and says did i take your order. We say yes and wait. When our order is ready we were called over with hand jesters so rude. To sum it up the service was beyond rude the moment we walked in and I should have walked right back out because the food was disgusting flavorless and had no spice. Yuck just look at the pictures of said chicken read more

Worse experience in the world especially for me coming to Texas for the first time and coming to this restaurant. Customer service is horrible. They forgot half of the things we ordered. They have major false advertisement on their menu, or I personally think they charged me more because I ordered such a big amount of food& they thought I was stupid. I ordered jollof rice and chicken to go & the chicken was extremely hard and black with a full container of rice. It was a waste of money honestly. If your looking for a nice African Restaurant in Dallas Texas please go else where. read more

Had a taste for some vegetable soup and this place has some of the best I have tasted. I was skeptical at first due to the other reviews but I can honestly say my experience wasn't bad. If I could give 0 I would have done it .the eru and fufu is not good at all the meat is too hard to eat as well

This place has good rice and plantain but they are very very unprofessional on a norm. There is only one person who answers the phone like it a business and not their personal phone. The workers don't have decorum when they answer the phone and no matter how early you call your order prepare to wait 20-30 minutes for your meal when you arrive anyways. If you don't mind waiting extremely long times you can get average tasting rice and undercooked plantain. read more

Food is very misleading. I ordered fufu and egusi soup and the food tasted very strange, meat looked very dark and old. First thing I pulled out was a long strand of hair in my egusi soup YUCK! worker were very friendly and answered any questions I had though but food quality was not that great. read more

This place serves old chicken with a smile. My egusi was good but the chicken in both of my dishes were old . Shameful

Today, I visited this restaurant fir the firat time. I ordered vegetable soup with chicken. The spinach was flavorful however I had two hunks of dried up old chicken. I've seen this restaurant here for months now and decided to give it a try. The front desk lady does not greet you and I felt like I didn't know how to go about eating here. I went straight to her and asked if I could get a menu. I asked her what was most popular and she picked the goat meat pepper soup. It was very tasty but I think for most palettes it would be too spicy or even peppery. I should have taken a picture but it really does not have anything in it except for the goat and the soup. I hate giving 3 or less star reviews for new restaurants so I'll give it 4 but this place does need some improvement. read more
