The food was absolutely incredible-hands down the best African cuisine I've tasted in a very long time. Every dish was rich, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, with authentic spices that made each bite unforgettable. The restaurant was spotless, warm, and welcoming, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. What truly stood out was the extraordinary customer service-friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. You can feel the pride and passion in both the food and the people. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

Chef Suleman needs to humble himself and work on his customer service. He has become a completely nasty person. I was a regular customer for 3 years. Now my last order I made on September 16th was quite disappointing compared to what I was used to. I ordered soupe kanja, chicken yassa and some meat pies. The soupe kanja, which was my dinner (the chicken yassa I bought for my friend), was horrible. The soupe was so sour and the meat tasted old, I couldn't even eat most of it. So I reached out to Suleman by text to let him know. He left me on read 3 timed until I had to ask "hey is this Suleman, I keep being left on read". That's when he replied that "he'll look into" but never reached back out. I waited for a refund for the soupe kanja, nothing. So I left a follow up review on his google page last night. So today, he sends a screenshot of my review and said some nasty things (screenshot attached).... I'm legit appalled by his behavior, especially towards a regular customer. As a business owner, he needs to learn how to accept constructive criticism, WORK ON IT DILIGENTLY and do proper customer resolution. Ignoring the customer and avoiding to properly mend the situation is completely unacceptable. I will no longer be patronizing him and I will make sure everyone I know is aware of my experience.

We ordered the meat pie, benachin, and egusi soup. The food was decent. The meat pie was enjoyable, but the meat on the benachin was a bit dry. The egusi soup was alright but could have used more flavor. I gave 3 stars mainly because of the service. There was no update on why our food was taking so long. We waited over an hour for our food, and even getting water took a while, so we had to flag down the waitress. The waitress was nice, but with only two other tables occupied in the restaurant, I didn't expect such a delay. However, there's plenty of seating, and it's clean.

Best food I ever had, no joke! Every bite was on point and honestly, if you're here, you can't go wrong--everything on the menu is straight fire. Definitely a spot you'll remember after just one visit. "

I got a little bit of everything, the food was so flavorful and filling, I don't think it can be finished in one sitting When I went, there was a little wait but the attendant gave us samples and was updating us throughout. The restaurant is also well set up and they also offered to allow us login to our Netflix so we could watch our show while we waited def my vibe!

Wow these flavors are so delicious! Fufu was perfect. Ordered plantains and okra came with lamb chops. Definitely a must to come back!

My son and I dropped by this place to get a bite to eat on our way home. I found them on Yelp and called in our order. The guy who answered the phone was very friendly and was knowledgeable about the menu. He told me about some of the most popular items on the menu and which ones I might like based on my preferences. I decided to get the Yassa Chicken and my son decided to get the Benachin. We also ordered 3 meat pies and 3 shrimp pies to share. Since I ordered curbside a member of the staff came to collect my payment and after some time he returned with my change and the food. The food was piping hot and very delicious! We enjoyed every dish we purchased. We will definitely return in the future!

I won a giveaway for their grilled chicken benachin, so I went there to pick it up. I'll be honest, I've never had west African food before, so I was not sure what to expect. When I got home, and tried the food, I was blown away. It was so delicious that I kept on taking bite after bite. The peppery rice, the slightly sweet onions and carrots, and the really good grilled chicken all came together really well. The price I felt was slighlty higher than normal ($22), but in their defense, one entree of this is more than enough for two people.

The vibe was nice. You must make a reservation! This is what I enjoyed: Side of Lamb chops: 10/10 tender, meaty, nice smoky and sweet flavor, well seasoned. Side of Mac and cheese: 6/10 a bit dry, needs a bit more seasoning, if both of these things were not an issue it would be perfect. Oxtails and jollof rice: 10/10 oxtails were full of flavor and enjoyable. They could have been a bit more tender. Overall the flavor carried it to a perfect 10. The rice is seasoned and a bit smokey and cooked to the perfect doneness. Table bread: 9/10 puff puff style bread. They were fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Brought out first and provided with every meal. It had a sweet seasoning mix on it. The mix to me was more for after dinner instead of right before the meal. Dusse mimosa: 10/10 nice and stout. I prefer Dusse over Hennessy which is what was on the menu. Jerk chicken: 10/10 flavorful wings. Jerk seasoning was there and not too spicy. Cooked just right and not dry. Collard greens: 6/10 savory flavor. I am a collard greens specialist and I prefer a sweet and hot profile. Although these are just savory they were cooked to the correct tenderness. Candied yams: 10/10 get blend of cinnamon and sweet flavor. Cooked perfectly.

For an appetizer, I started with the oxtail spring roll. I will say it leaned more toward a pot roast flavor because of all the cabbage and carrots inside. It didn't quite taste like oxtail or have much of the Jamaican flavor I was expecting, aside from the little bit of gravy served with it. For our meals, my friend ordered the Poundo Fufu with Egusi Soup and Beef, and I got the Jollof Rice with Stew Beef. The jollof rice was definitely some of the best I've had, really flavorful and the meat was tender and well done. The owner, Will, was very friendly and gave us some great recommendations for other dishes to try next time. If I'm ever back in Dallas, I would definitely stop by again.

When we first got in, it was fairly busy, I thought it was a sit down restaurant, not takeout. No worries we can just take our food to go (we drove here from Addison). It was about 2:30 when we ordered. The prices seemed a bit high ($30 for a small sized entree with no sides). But that's fine, nobody forced us to dine here. My friend and I ordered a ram suya and a goat suya and my other friend ordered a beef suya and a wrap. We go and wait on the couch. It was quite hot and we started to sweat, waiting for our food. 25 minutes passed and we see other people receiving their food, no worries, I understand some dishes take longer than others to come out. However after 45 minutes we were getting fed up. Mind you my friend and I were the only asians in the store (the other friend was Nigerian), and seeing people who ordered way ahead of us get their food and leaving, it was quite agitating. Finally my friend (Nigerian friend) gets one of his dishes, but that's it. Finally after another 2-3 minutes, the cashier comes to us and tells my friend (the Nigerian one) that they ran out of an ingredient and would give it to him for free without the missing ingredient and he agreed but she completely ignores me and my other friend (both asian). The three of us get pretty upset at this point and I tell my friend to ask them how longer it will be. He goes and asks her and she says one of the dishes (goat suya) is ready but the other one was an ADDITIONAL 10-15 minutes... she offered a small sample of the beef suya to us three to share while we waited (mind you this is now 50 minutes) We decided to get a refund for the other dish and just take the one that's ready and leave. Incredibly rude and horrendous service! At least if yall are taking a bit longer, let me know, and if yall are out of an ingredient, please say that. Also, why were my friend and I (the asian ones) completely ignored while all of the other patrons at least were offered a refund or notified of shortages of ingredients. Even my Nigerian friend who was clearly with us was notified but I was completely ignored. Not gonna imply anything but actions speak louder than words. Finally when we got back home, the meat seemed low quality, about 75% of it was vegetables. The flavor was delicious but not $30 worth and definitely not with the service they offer. Maybe they were having a bad day, but I will never come back here again and would advise others not to patron this business either.
