Omg. One other person said it best. I spent over 250$ because I thought I hit the jackpot and don't mind paying for great food. But........... baby they are stingy with the portions. I literally paid 27$ for 2 pieces of small meat and a 4th of a bowl of stew. I can't make this up. The catfish pepper soup was on point, the Amla, and pound yam were really nicely made. it's just simply a shame that the stews were little to nothing and the meat to nothing So let's talk about the flavor, the seasoning and the spices. My pallet tolerates heat and expects heat and African Food give him the habanero peppers and the scotch bar said they use I was ready for some heat. Newsflash there was none and little seasoning. My taste buds were really disappointed. I am going to post this pictures to let you know that I am not exaggerating, but you have got to do better. Being stingy will not grow your business. The Bible says press down, shaken together and run over. Bless your customers the way that you want to be blessed , the prices you charge for the little you give there is. I blessing in that. The two stars that I did give was because the fish

We tried fufu with egusi soup and jollof rice with goat meat. Very spicy, very flavorful. Would eat here again.

    Jollof rice, goat & plantain

This is my second time going here and I am just so in love with the jollof rice, it's pretty spicy & at the perfect level for me! I highly recommend having it with goat & plantains! The owners are very friendly & overall such a nice homely environment.

I tired the Egusi with Fried a fish and Iyan. The flavor is great and seasoned very mild spice! The only thing is the fish was over fried almost dried like not flaky at all which was disappointing especially since it cost extra. Other than that I would give them a try I have been disappointed a few times where I ordered fish and they sent chicken or the portions were a bit small for what you pay but this last time was my best experience besides the first time! Doesn't hurt to try them out!

My plate of Jolliffe rice with chicken and stew sauce and fried plantain!

I'm back and this time I tried tilapia with plantains, egusi with chicken, and pepper soup. Everything was delicious as usual.

Can't go wrong here. Good food and nice staff. Would post a pic but I ate the food as soon as it was sat on the table.

Low budget Nigerian food. Meat pie, rice and chicken have no flavor. Don't waste your time for this overpriced mush.

The food was excellent. Service was straight to the point. I ordered takeout, and when I eat the food it was exactly what I needed. 5 stars.

My husband however, ordered the beef jollof rice lunch special. We went during lunch and there was absolutely no one in there. I guess I overlooked that as my sign to eat the food that I had just bought from the grocery store instead. Anyway, the lady at the counter was nice. It took our takeout 20-30 minutes to get to us. When I say I have never been so disappointed to eat African food, is an understatement. My container was filled with tons of fries, but less than the recommended palm size of chicken. The chicken had absolutely no flavor, that I had to dip it in the ketchup just to consume it. My husband let me taste his jollof rice and plantains. The jollof rice was not good either. The best thing was the plantains. I'm glad we avoided getting the bigger portions which would have costed us around $50, because they also have a policy that says they don't give refunds just because you don't like it. I don't think we will be going back, but at least we tried to support a local business.
