The service was great. I enjoyed the people who worked at this establishment. We ordered a side salad and the fried calamari. The calamari was the worst I have ever seen and tasted. It was bouncy. There was no crisp. It was also served with marinara??? Not sure if that was on purpose or an accident. Based off the calamari, I wouldn't recommend stopping by. read more

We enjoyed every dish we tried. (8 in our group). Appetizers of shrimp were delicious.Oysters Rockefeller were great!

We drove by this place several tImes for three days and didn't consider trying seafood in a small town in OK. The last day we were there we stopped by on a fluke....and damn glad we did! No wait and room to sit on a Spring Break week. My wife ordered the Shrimp PoBoy basket and I ordered the crawfish PoBoy basket. On their recommendation we got a bowl of Lobster chowder first. The chowder was good, slightly salty but the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 - is because the chowder came out just luke warm. It would have been so much beefier if it was hot. We both loved the PoBoy's and I have to mention their hush puppies. Very crispy but soft in the inside and great flavor. We're even more excited that they are opening a new location within a mile of our home in Fort Worth. read more

I definitely recommend! Oh and for anyone who wears makeup..if you eat the crawfish and you like the spice you will be wiping your lips a lot! Soooo just so you know read more

Food! Was not good at all! No flavor small portions. They should re-think how and where they gat they're catfish/ seafood from.

Service was great! The oysters were pretty darn good. All the other food was just ok. Prices are super reasonable though!

We love this place and made it part of our regular experience when we are in Broken Bow. Our kids look forward to it and will order Platters of the oysters. We have eaten practically everything there and love it all! They have seating for big groups. The Outside area has things for the kiddos to do and entertainment! Parking can be rough so come early if you can! read more

After a long travel day, Shuck Me was close to the cabin where my kids and I were staying so we decided to stop in. Even though it was nearing closing time, the staff was friendly and did not rush us at all. After walking up to the counter to order, we found a table out on the patio to eat. The back area was very nice and would be a good area to play games, listen to live music, etc. We ordered fried catfish, shrimp and oysters. The oysters were slightly over cooked but the shrimp and catfish were good. I would eat at Shuck Me again when in Hochatown. read more

We came for a little snack. Shrimp cocktail, stuffed jalapeños, clam chowder and some thinly sliced friend zucchini. Add a cold beer and that's a great afternoon snack. Cute outdoor patio area! read more

Pricey and food was average at best. Had a catfish dinner and subbed fries for dill new potatoes. Fish was ok, smaller pieces and dill potatoes while a decent portion were undercooked and had no dill flavor at all. Two hush puppies barely larger than a nickel. Had fried zucchini which was the highlight of the meal, even though they seemed commercially frozen. One barely mediocre 2 pc fish dinner, zucchini and a house wine, over $30. I will be trying other places my next visit. read more

It says it's an oyster bar. NOT! Worst oysters of my life . Left half laying on the table. They were still frozen, beyond chewy, smelled terrible. It's just a fried food joint. Don't waste your money on expensive crappy food. The tables outside were so sticky from not being wiped off I had to lay paper towels down so my arms didn't stick to it. Maybe a little disinfectant and cleaner would be helpful. I brought the problem to the manager, all she could do was reply "OK". Wow now that is top management. Pretty much identified the problem right there. read more

Not impressed. Crawfish tails were fried in corn meal and had very little taste. Tasted like old grease.

SAVE YOURSELVES!! We paid $80! For what was supposed to be Cajun grilled shrimp/fries/oysters/jalapeño crab cakes. Our shrimp was cold and loaded with spice, oysters were tiny, and crab cakes were like jalapeño poppers from chicken express. Nothing special. On top of that their cash register asks for a tip. For what? You order and pick up our own food and drinks. We went to Abendigo's tonight, I'd rather pay more for better quality food and tip for actual hospitality. read more

I'm really conflicted about this place. I understand that sometimes it might be difficult to find good, honest food in a touristy location, but I was thinking that this place couldn't be that bad judging by the reviews and the location. My entire family came here and everyone had a different opinion about their meal. I just didn't like anything I had here. What I ended up ordering for myself, the 1 piece catfish with fried shrimp didn't taste any different than what you would get at Long John's Silver. In fact, my catfish wasn't very crispy at all. Instead of fries I ordered the "Spanish rice." Now, I learned a long time ago that I shouldn't order rice at a place where it's probably not going to be very popular since it wouldn't be fresh, but decided this place would be okay since there were several entrees that came with the Spanish rice and that the menu had a slight Mexican influence. The rice was beyond gross. Incredibly under-cooked rice cooked in some kind of chunky salsa and worst of all, it was cold. Unforgivable. My boyfriend and mom each ordered the fried red snapper (spicy) and while it was somewhat crispy, generous portion, lacked any real flavor. The spicy sauce tasted sweet jam with onions and bell pepper. More under-cooked, cold rice and non-seasoned watery beans. We also ordered a ceviche and I didn't finish it. It tasted like it was sitting in lime juice for way too long. Other things I tried: Fried pickles-good but extremely salty. Boiled shrimp with potatoes-probably the best thing I had. Overall, I was just really disappointed. I wouldn't recommend it. I'm sure there has to be a better seafood place around. read more

First time here and last time. Food was below average. Fried calamari was rubbery and barely fried. Absolutely disgusting, tasted as if it had been frozen for 2 years. Hush puppies were very cold. Salmon tasted like frozen fish dethawed in a microwave. Salad was just ok. Over priced. Service was good. The setting was ok nothing jaw dropping. Just disappointed in this place and not for us. read more

Grilled grouper sandwich was delicious as were the french fries. Etouffee was too salty. Service was fabulous! Honestly, this was the best meal in our 10 days in Broken Bow. read more

We got the crab legs and they were so good. Great seasoning. Both me and my husband loved the boiled crab legs.

Ngl, the shrimp tasted weird. If you like table service, this place isn't for you. The counter is at the front, and the line can get really long. The fried shrimp tasted good at first, but as time went on it tasted bad. read more

The tiniest oysters I've ever seen . We ordered two dozen and maybe got 4 decent sized ones. $8 for a tiny cup of chips and queso. I was sad they weren't bigger for $22 a dozen. In all fairness we didn't really give the real food a try. Hopefully it's better then the oysters. read more

We really enjoyed our time at Shuck Me. We were camping in the area and looking for a place to watch the final game of the College World Series. This was the perfect place. We sat on the patio, perfectly cooled with large fans and misters. Bobby, the bartender was awesome! Our glasses were never empty. We told the owner that we wanted to watch the game and he made sure the TV was on and the correct channel. We shared a fried shrimp and oyster basket. Who would have guessed Oklahoma had such great seafood? The shrimp were huge, butterflied with a very light breading. The oysters were perfectly fried and so tender. Our basket also included a couple hush puppies and a decent amount of perfectly seasoned and fried French Fries. The self serve condiments included cocktail sauce, horseradish in varying degrees of heat and hot sauces. Our beers from the nearby Beavers Bend Brewery were served icy cold in large goblets. All in all, a perfect evening! read more

Best spot to eat in Hochatown! As a cabin owner that frequents and loves the area, this is our go to spot. Cleaner than clean, consistent and high quality. Didn't hate it, food was okay. Just not something I'd go out of my way to eat at. They do have a large selection on their menu and I can always appreciate lots of options. We had oysters as an app and my boyfriend had the baked red snapper and I had a fried seafood combo plate. Some of mine was a little over cooked, or maybe the grease needed to be changed out. The staff seemed preoccupied and not exactly overjoyed to greet customers. It was an hour before closing time, but still rubbed me wrong I guess. The line was long and took a while to get through. Overall, not a horrible experience, but I just wasn't wowed, you know? read more

A very nice surprise. The atmosphere is very friendly and has the vibe of a Destin Florida shoreline fishing restaurant with a very nice bar. I ordered the 12 fried jumbo shrimp with Cole slaw and a frozen margarita.I was very impressed with everything I was served as were the other 12 in our group. Hamburgers to raw oysters were brought to our table. I heard only praise from everyone. This restaurant is a jewel for dining. read more

This place is ok.... I ordered clam chowder it was served barely warm and tasted like it's from a can not house made. For the price should have been house made. Hubby had crawfish etouffe he said it was ok. There are no table servers. You order at the counter and pick the food up. They only had one person taking orders so that made the line extra long. Just a poor system all the way around. This just a glorified Long John Silver. read more

This is our yearly place to stop and eat while in Hochatown. Adventure out on the sides and don't settle for the beans and rice. The butter shrimp is to die for. Ate here when in the area. The crawfish was overbooked a little and the wife said the shrimp was overbooked. The service was great for food but just alright at the bar. Beer selection and alcohol is limited. The place is decorated great. The restrooms were clean. Could use a little more customer interaction. read more

Atmosphere is quaint and comforting, workers are friendly, but the food is meh. It's not bad, but it doesn't stand out, considering the prices give the impression it would have alot more effort. Hush puppies are greasy and crumble into a gritty mess, French fries are either extremely cold or freshly made, fish was flat and over fried, and the lobster macaroni came out barely Luke warm. It's a good spot for the family, and it's down the road from the rentable cabins, so it's either this place, the pizza spot, or the brewery/pub. I feel like maybe once upon a time this place was more invested in the food quality, but years of tourism kinda dilute a lot of effort. Also the women's bathroom is clean but smells incredibly strong of ammonia read more
