Weird,... I know! However my family loves to stop by especially after dinner as a treat. Claw City is always clean and have a variety of claw machines with many different stuffed-animal characters. What makes this place awesome is that if you accumulate a certain amount of stuffies and don't really want them, you can always trade them in for other prizes that they carry in the front. Overall it's a fun place to stop by, we are continuing to come in when we are nearby!

The decor is cute and there are some fun photo ops throughout, but it was overpriced and the prizes weren't great especially for how much you're paying. There were a couple machines with decent prizes, but most weren't good at all. The machines also seemed a lot harder to win from compared to other places. We usually walk away with at least a few prizes elsewhere, but we didn't get a single thing here. Customer service could be better. Other claw machine places we've been to have always had super friendly employees who even often offer to help and are just overall really nice. But that's not what it was like here at all. Not the worst place, but not worth it. There are better options nearby.

We continue to give this venue multiple chances, but unfortunately each visit has been more…read moredisappointing than the last. We attended the concert on March 14 and arrived around 9:00 PM. By the time we got there, the staff already seemed overwhelmed by the number of guests. When we checked in, the host noted that our entire party had arrived even though two members of our group were still missing. This later created unnecessary confusion and delays. Organization and communication appear to be major challenges at this location. Initially, my boyfriend and I were told to go ahead and sit down, but we were not given wristbands or any clear direction as to where our table was located. We were confused as to why we had not received wristbands like other guests. Later in the evening, we were asked to return to the front to obtain wristbands, which is when we discovered the host had incorrectly marked our party as complete. It seemed likely that the staff member was overwhelmed and did not fully process what we had explained at check-in. Another ongoing issue is the apparent overselling of tables without adequate space to accommodate them. The layout was so crowded that even the bartenders had difficulty moving between tables. At times, guests were asked to pass buckets and drinks down the line because staff could not easily access certain tables. The people in the VIP area were all complaining about how close the tablets were to each other. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and poorly managed. The artists were great but we felt very uncomfortable seating there the entire time we were there.

They consistently offer plenty of matinee showtimes, which makes it easy to plan around the kids' schedules. The staff is always kind and welcoming, and one thing we really appreciate is how clean the theaters are after every showing AND how clean restrooms always are and well maintained. It definitely makes the experience more comfortable. Service at the concession stand is quick, with a wide variety of options to choose from. If you're in a hurry, mobile ordering is also a great option and just as efficient. Another big plus is the location. It's conveniently near Asiatown and right off Interstate 10, with plenty of restaurants nearby. It's perfect if you want to plan something before or after the movie. Overall, it's a great theater for families and a reliable spot for a fun, easy outing.

It's definitely an older theater now, and while it's not the fanciest theater in the Houston area, it still does the job. For the most part, the theater is clean, and the crowds are usually respectful. I've never really had issues with rowdy people ruining a movie experience here, which honestly counts for a lot these days. My friends and I have also spent time in the arcade over the years while waiting for movies to start, and it's always been a fun addition. I'm a Movie Club member and still have dozens of free movies banked from Covid and beyond because I never fully got back into going weekly the way I used to see movies. The membership is worthwhile if you go often since you get discounts on concessions and tickets. That said, there are definitely some downsides. The food delivery-to-seat option sounds great in theory, but the few times I've done it, my popcorn and food were already sitting in my seat long before the movie started. I don't want cold popcorn, and I felt like the food quality suffered because of it. The theater also feels understaffed now. During weekdays there's often nobody even checking tickets, which honestly feels strange. Today we went to see The Devil Wears Prada 2, and no one scanned our tickets at all. The side concession stands also never seem to be open--even on busy weekends--which makes me wonder why they're there if they're never staffed. I honestly don't recall ever seeing them open, even after they were installed. The main concession line usually moves quickly enough, but the lack of staffing is noticeable throughout the building. The bathrooms could also use more attention. Too often there are missing paper towels or empty soap dispensers. And like every theater now, the prices have become hard to justify. Eight dollars for a hot dog is honestly ridiculous. I used to always buy concessions because I wanted to support the theater industry, but it's hard to walk out after tickets and snacks feeling like you spent $40+ per person for one movie outing. Overall, I'd probably give this theater three stars. It's not terrible, and I still come here, but it does feel a bit rundown compared to newer theaters around town. Still, if you just want a straightforward movie experience with comfortable seats and generally decent crowds, it works fine.
