On the plus side, Grigor came out on a Sunday to help troubleshoot and unclog/Deroot our plumbing issue. He did pull a bunch of roots and was personable and communicative. Unfortunately he did not fix the issue fully and the toilets and bathroom were coughing up black water the day after he left. I asked him to come out and help but after a few days of waiting I had to get another plumber in to fix the clogging and the toilet backwash. So no guarantee to his work. The other plumber found a bunch of roots in the pipe up the side of the house, and cut and removed them and now things are clear. So it cost us another $700 to get things cleaned up. A huge bill for a derooting and for a 5 person family with infant on a single salary. I gave grigor an opportunity to return some of the cash but he wasn't interested. He also quoted me $15k to replace a pipe leading to the city sewage line. I didn't get a video of the camera he ran (I paid for the video work) and when I asked for a video he said he didn't record one and that he would come back to do it but never did. I wanted to use the video for an alternative quote on the $15k job and I suspect he didn't leave a video to make it more cost prohibitive for me to get another quote. The video would have saved money in getting a competing quote for the work since its $250 to run the camera. The plumber who I got to come in and fix backwash issue provided a much smaller quote and work estimate to fix the pipe. I recommend not paying this plumber in cash, and get an invoice of the work done. I also recommend getting a second opinion on any work proposed and to not "panic" buy his services. read more

I didn't have an emergency -- I wanted a washing machine waterline installed in the garage during the COVID 19 pandemic so dirty and potentially infectious clothing can be washed with bleach before I even step inside the house. Grigor understood the importance of keeping my family safe and informed me that he can install the waterline -- SAME DAY even though he got a list of clients to visit. He got to my house at around 7 pm and worked until 10 pm getting the waterlines installed. Other plumbing company came and did estimates, but they wanted to do so much more work... ripping open the drywall, installing the laundry box, etc -- when all of it weren't necessary. Grigor told me yes, if I want pretty, pretty can be done. And if i want functional, I can save cost and time. We agreed on a price -- and while working, Grigor told me, "hey, if you get more water shut offs, it's going to make the future plumbing work easier." Was supposed to be at my place at 3, left a message that he was leaving Bellevue at 4, then showed up past 6pm without tools, equipment, work outfit or proper mask (just a gaiter) on a friday evening at my home in Seattle. He requested to be paid in cash so he could give me a discount, and estimated $450 to remove and replace my toilet and have replace a connector (?) which he still neeeded to purchase at HomeDepot. Took nearly 2 hrs to get back from Homedepot (which takes 40 min round-trip, tops). During that time I requested him not to come back - it felt too creepy... I should have been more patient with getting repairs done and got multiple quotes. Do your research and figure out how much it should cost. I personally don't like negotiating pricing and feel like in general plumbing is more expensive than it should be. Had similar experience to one of the one star reviews. We had decided to replace our ancient, musty-smelling washer and dryer with (much) more energy efficient models. Install day was a Saturday and we were looking forward to be rid of our old energy hogs. Everything was going well until the installers noticed how badly corroded our water connections were. They were so corroded that the installers rightly refused to hook up either washer or dryer (steam) to the water for fear they could not handle our new machines. We needed a plumber. Pronto. Only catch here? IT WAS THE WEEKEND. Right, so I already knew that not all plumbers work on weekends and the ones that do usually want to charge you an extra fee for coming out then. Still, I wanted to try to get us on the schedule ASAP for the coming Monday (if possible) so called around. Imagine my surprise when Grigor told me he could come out, no extra fee, and replace the connections THAT DAY. I sent him pictures of the connections as well as the new set we wanted to hook up. He came an hour and half later with his partner, Artur. Both Grigor and Artur worked together to get the wall open, install new piping and connection box (with hammer arrestors) , and then patched the wall. All this was done with courtesy, professionalism and a friendly manner. I even learned a few things about my own house in the process (our pressure is REALLY high) Anyway, I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others. read more

We hired Grigor to fix our yard drainage after a flooded patio this winter. He suggested a number of improvements and did ultimately fix one pipe full of tree roots, but then disappeared, leaving our yard dug up with supplies scattered everywhere. Turns out it was a nightmare: sewer had been pouring underneath the house for a long time and the sewer line was completely separated. His team worked for a week, and even addressed the issues left over from the water restoration company. He will RUIN your life, and your finances. He conned us out of 20k, which makes life hard to live right now. He slowly drained us we didn't even notice it at first. He first quotes us 2.5k to fix whatever was causing this gray water to pool. Then he comes back and says no, this is an 11k job because our pipes were outdated and against code and our pump was too small ( which had worked fine for 5 years) and we need to also pay for a clog alarm. He comes at weird hours of the night like 8 or 9 randomly asking for money when he didn't even work that day. After three days in a row my husband and I are convinced he is gabbler, addict, or alcoholic. For weeks he would ghost us and then one day several other random people would come and work, yet when we had been asking him why this was taking 4 or 5 months to complete his answer was that we has doing the work alone. Our house stank for almost a year, and it was so embarrassing because even though we did everything we thought we could, by trusting Grigor and paying what he asked, we did everything wrong. After a 2nd and 3rd opinion they both concluded Grigor installed an old pump from 2014 so the clog alarm that we had to suffer hearing 24/7 was because the pump was too weak. I say suffer because Grigor would either ghost us or say he'd come fix the alarm and no show. We are back to square one, thank you Grigor. read more

I had a leaking toilet. Technician named Arthur showed up within two hours. Without doing anything, he wanted $75 for showing up and said that it would cost $350 just to remove the toilet from it's position, that this did not include repairs!!!! When I balked he said that maybe he could take 20% off the $350. When I balked again he said that maybe he could call his boss and get the $75 fee waived. He got on the phone with his boss and told him what was going on and I realized that I did not trust these guys for the simple reason that they would try and gouge my wallet right out of the gate and that I didn't want a contractor I didn't feel I could trust and would always be second guessing so, I sent them packing. Grigor has now done 2 jobs for us in 2020. The first was back in late March during COVID restrictions and it was our only toilet getting blocked. Grigor showed up and unblocked the toilet. In addition he has also done an estimation visit. We recently hired him again to install a proper refrigerator ice-box line and replace a saddle joint. Our refrigerator needed to be replaced and the installers will not hook up a saddle joint line to a new refrigerator. Grigor removed the saddle joint, and placed a brand new line with a proper ice-box line hookup. He also helped locate our water main to turn off the water, and gave us tips on a couple of small plumbing issues for us to address as DIY. Super happy with his being able to show up at short notice both times. The only tip I would suggest in working with him is that given he handles emergencies and also likes to be thorough with his work, he has been late both times. Other reviews also note this. My approach to this has been to be aware that he will be late, but that he will show up even if very late and take care of the issue.
