One of my favorite spots to grab a fish sandwich. It's hard finding a good fish sandwich in the area and these guys always seem to deliver. Let me warn you, the fish sandwich is big. So bring two stomachs. Great service, great staff, and there's always Ample parking.

My first visit here was a quick, pleasant surprise. This casual restaurant offered immediate service; no line, and my food came out faster than I expected. I ordered a flounder fish sandwich. While the food wasn't bursting with flavor, it was undeniably good--a significant improvement over any fast-food fish sandwich. I look forward to returning return and trying more of their menu.

Good spot for quick fresh good tasting food. They have a variety of items from burgers, gyros, fish and chicken sandwiches. Ordering is easy and the food comes out really fast. They have ample seating in the restaurant. The place has a nice clean decor. Prices aren't bad. I got a chocolate shake and their famous fried fish sandwich and it filled me up. The fried fish was fresh and crispy with not a lot of breading and just some light sauce to add flavor. It didn't feel too heavy on my stomach either.

Showmars has been a favorite for us for a long time now and it continues to not disappoint. Everything ordered arrived correctly, fast, and hot and fresh. The hospitality of the staff was superb and we always had someone checking in on us. The place was clean and very spacious. Looked like it could easily accommodate a larger crowd. Their fish is to die for! Fresh, crisp, and hot. The tartar sauce is more mustardy (which is how i prefer it), complimenting the fish very well. The salmon was crisp on the edges and cooked perfectly. It fit so well with the Mediterranean salad. The pita bread was even served warm with our meals!! I love how all the sauces are ready to go and served on the side - perfect if you prefer to dip or drizzle over your meal. 10/10 would recommend this place to a friend!! An abundance amount of to-go orders going out the door while we dined and I'm sure they wouldn't disappoint there either.

Adorable place with a comfortable feel. Ordered easily at the counter and food came out super hot to our table. Fries were okay as was the fried flounder. Highlights were the fried shrimp, hush puppies and chocolate milkshake.

Stopped for a quick lunch with a coworker. Facilities were very clean, you order at the counter then they deliver to the table. I had a gyro plate which was excellent.

LOVE this Shomars!! They have absolutely never let me down. Dine in or take out, it's all amazing! The service is always exceptional and the food is so delicious. Their tartar sauce with the founder is my absolute favorite. The food is always so fresh and comes out quick! I love when I'm in the area and get to grab a meal here! Plus, the restaurant is clean and the employees check on you just the right amount ... always available to grab you an extra sauce, box/lid, or more water. Thank you Shomars!

There is plenty of parking on the backside of the building, paid parking out front, and be careful not to park in the apartment spaces on the side...they sounded pretty serious about towing. I had made a reservation but it was probably unnecessary as it was pretty empty when we arrived (it was about 5pm on a Saturday.) The waitress brought a bottle of water to the table and took our drink order. And I know that this place is literally call it's a Southern thing but can I mention how much I dislike drinking out of mason jars? I ordered the chicken n biscuits, my husband got the country hamburger steak plate, my BiL got wings, and my SiL got the crabcakes. We also orders charred jalapeno & sweet corn hushpuppies and frickles as an appetizer. I was VERY excited about my food. Y'all...the only thing that impressed me were the Frickles. Everything else was distinctly underwhelming. I also ordered Blackberry Betta Have My Money which was not that great. My SiL ordered a espresso martini that they said didn't come from a mix but she said it tasted like it was. The bathrooms were very clean. The decor and the vibe were great. Cute even. I really enjoyed that part of it. After dropping off our food, we never saw our waitress again unless we flagged her down for drink refills. It was especially frustrating since there was automatic gratuity added. And since the place wasn't that busy, it felt like she didn't feel the need to earn her automatic tip. Overall I was disappointed in my birthday dinner. I won't be coming back here.

We made a reservation and were seated upon arrival. Our host was Anthony, I think his name was, with a keen interest for ginkgo trees. He was very attentive, friendly and extremely helpful. He took her order and had some good suggestions. I was craving shrimp and grits which was probably the most unique shrimp and grits. I've had ever. Very distinct flavor and still very rich and familiar. The shrimp were large and juicy as well as remained crunchy overall cooked very well. We also had the summer tomato and burata salad which was really refreshing and delicious. My friend ordered the mac and cheese which is a hefty serving size. Definitely a shareable side or a main for one person. Our host came to check on us frequently, our Waters never went empty. Other hosts were also helping check in on us which was nice. The restaurant itself is large. Booth tables available, which made for a cozy environment. We ended the night with some brownie a la mode, which was the perfect dessert to have on a hot summer day. The menu had recently changed so we got to try quite a few new items. We tried the panzanella- sweet corn, red beans, heirloom tomato, patty pan squash, pea tendrills, and a roasted red pepper vinaigrette. This dish was my favorite of the night- small but shareable, entire dish was refreshing and all the flavors and textures went together so well. For dinner I ordered the roasted chicken and the baked mac and cheese with bacon. The roasted chicken was juicy and tasty, and a bit sweet with the bourbon ginger and plum reduction, but the mac and cheese seemed dry and overcooked. We also ordered the buttermilk cheddar biscuits- that taste slightly undercooked (in a good way), so the texture was soft and chewy (and amazing). The honey butter and large maldon salt granules made the biscuits perfect. They were so good we ordered a second order!! I would definitely return to Plum, for both the food and hospitality.

Having been huge fans of North Carolina style BBQ, we were not disappointed. My wife and daughter enjoyed the Pork Plate. By for me, I went with the two meat combo with Pulled pork and brisket. The pulled pork was spot on. It was perfectly smoked and almost melted in my mouth. With a touch of spicy vinegar sauce, I was gone to Carolina in my mind for the rest of the day. The brisket might have been some of the best I've ever had. It had a nice fat layer and was also "melt in your mouth" and juicy. The brisket didn't need any sauce at all. It was that good. The hushpuppies were the star at the table. My family considers themselves to be connoisseurs of hush puppies, and these were ranked in the top five. A respectable ranking from such a discriminating hushpuppy panel. The sides we sampled included collard greens, mac and cheese and BBQ beans. The collards and Mac and cheese were out of this world. I should have ordered a double serving of the collards. However, the beans were a huge disappointment. They were more like a bowl of sub-par chili than BBQ beans.
