    Butter chicken calzone

This Butter Chicken Calzone didn't taste like much. The whole menu feels like a remix of the same mild flavors and cheese. The butter chicken pasta was really good the last time I had it though. Quite expensive calzone at $17

Not the best experience. I went for lunch with my team. We were only one of 2 tables. The service was very slow. We had to call over the person taking our order and serving our table multiple times. He and a couple other staff members were chatting at the bar. The food took a while to come out and when it did, the portions were not worth the price. It also was under-seasoned, even though we asked for spicy. The shop is cute and has potential. I would recommend working on improving the service and portions to price ratio.

Such a fun, lively spot -- perfect for a get-together! We enjoyed their fixed-menu buffet featuring Indian-twist pizzas and pasta. The Gobi Manchurian and Paneer Tikka Masala pizzas were bursting with flavor and totally hit the spot. The Shahi Paneer pasta was decent, though it leaned more curry than classic pasta. Great vibe, a full bar, and the sweetest owner who makes you feel right at home. Bonus: plenty of cute photo corners for your Insta shots! Can't wait to go back for another flavorful fusion feast!

A new spot with delicious food and a variety of items. I love the Indian inspired fusion items, such as the butter chicken pasta and butter tacos. I appreciate that every item's spice level can be customized. We tried the mozz sticks, butter sauce pasta and shrimp Alfredo, butter sauce calzone, and a few cocktails and mocktails. The owners, manager, and bartender were all nice and accommodating with our customizations. They have a pretty expensive menu for plant based and vegan foodies as well. I would definitely return when I'm in the area. Plenty of parking as well. They also can rent out their restaurant for private events.

Sip N Spices is a new restaurant in Morrisville that replaced the Bali Hai Mongolian restaurant. Although no longer a Mongolian restaurant, they still have the same cooking equipment inside. Their concept is very interesting, it's a restaurant that does Indian fusion. They serve up Indian food in tacos, burgers, pasta, you name it. I am actually a fan of the concept, and would like to see this place succeed! There are just a few things that they could clean up. I've visited on two occasions and both times it was empty in the store, so service and speed were not an issue. On my first visit, I decided to go an Italian route, butter chicken pasta and an order of tiramisu. It was really cool watching the chef/owner cook the chicken on the old Mongolian stove, I thought that was a good way of reusing equipment. In the end, I got a nice, big portion of pasta and a square of tiramisu. I had never had butter chicken on pasta, but I am a fan now! The butter chicken itself had good flavor, was a bit spicy and the chicken was tasty. It was clear that the tiramisu doesn't get ordered all that often because it came in a frozen block and was a bit dry because of that. The flavor was okay, I would be super surprised if it was made in house. On my second visit, I pivoted towards Mediterranean. I ordered their chicken on rice and a side of their fried paneer. When I got the chicken on rice, I was stoked. It really looked and smelled fantastic. It had a very generous portion of chicken, plenty of vegetables, a nice salad, topped on a bed of rice. Unfortunately when I started to get into the dish, I found the chicken to be way too salty and overpower the rest of the dish. Without all the extra seasoning, I think it would have been amazing. The fried paneer was exactly what it was, but I wasn't a fan of the dipping sauce. I certainly have interest in coming back to try their other unique creations. Apparently they have a paneer burger and paneer tacos that have peaked my interest. I think Sip N Spices has a lot of potential, they just need to clean up a few things and they can establish their identity within a community, which is already so full of Indian options.

Delicious pizza! Could use more sauces on the side and have carriers with insulated containers so it arrives hot.

The menu seemed pricey but the ambiance and food quality more than deserves. It is nice tranquil environment. The service is quick and respectful and they are not shy in guiding. I had eggplant dish, which I have had at multiple chinese restaurants before, but haven't seen this style of creation. It looked and tasted awesome. I wish they had more vegeterian items on the menu especially for the dinner and that has held us back from visiting. They had nice chinese jazz music playing. I enjoyed the experience and will definitely visit again. I asked the server for vegeterian options during dinner, he said they are willing to accomodate e.g. fish with tofu. So we will be here again another time with family.

Pretty cool incorporating high end Chinese food, and the atmosphere was fancy but cozy. Don't forget to look around, they have lots of cool decorations! As for food, I was a bit underwhelmed. We started with the salt and pepper calamari which had a great balance of mala spice. It was delicious and set high expectations for the rest of the meal. We mainly came for the Peking duck which was honestly just ok, especially considering the price. I thought it'd come with more meat, most of the duck was skin which also seemed to be sweeter? than usual. We also got the century egg Napa cabbage which seemed very overpriced and under flavored. Our waitress mentioned it was a new item, so it may be refined in the future. Giving 4 stars for the experience. Missed our waitress' name, but she was great and made the experience even better. I think this place is worth trying again, but probably for another special occasion to justify the price range!

The Walk Up - Another great visit to the Walk Up this weekend. The drink on the left is a NY Sour (traditional whiskey sour with a red wine floater).

Tucked above downtown Cary, this cocktail club delivers specialty drinks that are both creative and dangerously easy to keep ordering. The vibe is relaxed without trying too hard, making it equally perfect for catching up with friends. The real standout for me though? The massive outdoor patio. Spacious, laid-back, and ideal for lingering over cocktails way longer than originally planned. Cary keeps getting cooler, and this place is a big reason why.
