I have been a longtime Ballardite so am often in Fremont. I have seen it change and grow over the years, some for the better, some not so much. I happened to wander in to Show Pony with some friends and was delighted. This store is what makes Fremont fun. The owner couldn't have been nicer and was treating us like VIPs. This place is adorable! The ladies working here are very sweet and helpful without smothering you. Although I liked their unique selection of perfumes and soaps, I found the consignment prices to be a bit high for my taste - but if you're looking for a unique dress or some funky frocks, this is definitely a spot to consider. I have actually been here a few times, however, was unable to review it last time 'cause there was no listing for it. I love the dresses here. The only problem is that they don't fit me but the prints are awesome. I am top heavy but the waist has always been fine now that I've dropped 2 dress sizes. The lady working here is super nice and friendly. She uses some awesome hipster prints. Prices are $$, however, they're one of a kind which I appreciate. read more

Cute little shop, I find it genius they used a card deck to tag their clothes with prices. There are consignment pieces and normal pieces in here. The prices are rather high but that's true of every cute boutique in the Fremont area. Take your time in here for sure. read more

I had passed right through this store without entering, many times. I'm glad I finally did! Nice selection from local designers, not exactly cheap but not over-the-top pricey either. GORGEOUS handbags and jewelry. I'm particularly fond of the one-of-a-kind shoulder bags made out of recycled pants - all are sooo pretty, and you have to really study them to realize they were pants once upon a time! She has the best selection- great tops, lots of amazing dresses, tons of accessories- and great price ranges. They carry local designers which I love- everything is unique and well made. I rarely every shop and when I do, it is hard for me to find clothes that fit me and is suitable for Viet Nam weather. Today, I walked out of Show Pony with 4 dresses, 2 skirts, a couple of blouses, and a jacket within an hour. The clothes are unique and the owner supports local designers and products that are wholesome. My favorite new designer is Suzabelle! I will definitely come back to pick up some of the things I wanted but couldn't afford on this trip especially the butter dress that you can wear a zillion different ways. I LOVE THIS PLACE! This is a rather pricey, but extremely well-curated consignment shop. You're going to pay extra to have the Show Pony staff find the good stuff for you, so before you come, decide whether you like your secondhand stores to be a giant jumble of a treasure hunt (hello, Goodwill! I love you!), or whether you want a boutique shopping experience that happens to feature gently used goods. I saw a Burberry trench coat on sale here for around $100 (retail, it must have been around $1000). That's definitely a find. Show Pony also features new items from local designers; the jewelry in particular is worth the trip out here. For what it's worth, I prefer to save a fistful of dollars and dive into the mess that is Goodwill for my thrift store experience. read more

I bought a dress at Show Pony a couple months ago that I've worn about a million times since and still love it. Great service, great selection, and fun to visit. She has a great selection of things you don't see in all the other boutiques and the price ranges are very reasonable. Show Pony is my go to for orignal pieces. Stephanie the owner greets you as you come in. I alwasys leave with something, whether it is a piece of jewlry or an oragnic cotton scarf, I am always pleased. I love stopping in to see what new items are in. One of the best parts of this local boutique is that she carries a lot of local designers. The product Show Pony has to offer is much different than the customer service. But if you're Interested in their product such as prairie underground- just order it online. I cannot even begin to describe how terribly I was treated as an employee. The hiring process was so unclear, hindered my ability to accept other potential job leads and after being hired and given a schedule I worked for a total of two hours. I made several sales mind you and was thanked for my helpfulness by several customers. Before being 'let go' with no reason given to me. After this I was offered a modeling job. This made me feel like just a pretty face - an incompetent woman and not someone recognized for the many years of customer service experience I have. This is a perfect reflection of Seattle's increasing lack of culture and friendliness in general. They always seem to be hiring..wonder why. read more

I live in Fremont and it is quite hard not to go in here every single day. I ALWAYS find something cute in the consignment area and the brands they carry are all great especially Prairie Underground and Revival Ink. I have such a great time shopping here, the service is great and there are always treasures to be found. I really like Anthropologie but now I find all my favorite clothes here because they have a similar feel but they are local and cheaper! My favorite, ever. read more

I love this place! I always really loved the location around the corner from where I worked so when show pony showed up I was excited. To my surprise, the items inside are priced for everyones budget! I bought some humungous hair flowers for $10 a piece which is a bargain compared to some other boutiques. They have lovely accessories and perfume and I definitely need to pay them another visit at their new location soon. The owner is also a total sweetie. She informed me that they were getting really cute feather headbands and if I'd like her to call me when they arrived. I actually got a phonecall when they did..unfortunately at the time I was in Hawaii and totally broke when I got home so I never made it back to pick one up for myself but I really appreciated the great customer service and it made a lasting impression on me to go back and refer the place to friends. I know several people who also have purchased items at this store and love it! Great boutique and kudos for no snootiness, but a genuine interest in your customers!! Thank you!!! read more

I really love the selection of clothes and accessories! Must visit the upstairs consignment part of the store. Some items from previous seasons are sold at full retail price, so I bought the same top for half price online.
