I came here after Mia Melon told me this boutique carried their outerwear. It's nice and bright and not too crowded, which so many boutiques run into. The service by Heather is what really made this place for me. I couldn't find a coat style that worked for me and she volunteered to let me try on HER OWN COAT from Mia melon that was in a style that she guessed would suit me. And it did! They had my size in that coat at their airport location and after some deliberation I bought it. Honestly, I was on the fence since it wasn't on sale and if I had purchased it from Mia melon (who doesn't have it in stock) I could have used a credit. But heather's kindness and attention to me made me decide to get it. The return policy isn't great but they are very clear about it- 7 day window for only store credit, no refunds. read more

Great customer service and unique products! I had never heard of Show Pony until I saw the cute little vendor in the C concourse one morning. Not having much time before my flight I tried on a couple of jackets and made a mental note to stop by the next time I'm here. The lady working here was really nice and helpful and let me know if they didn't have the size I needed here they could always order it from the main store in Ballard or Fremont and it would be here when I flew back into town. Their handpicked products are beautiful and their buyer has great taste in supporting small businesses. Walked in to this business with a mask around my neck. Was asked to put said mask on. Not that big a deal until I said other businesses in the region had signs up that vaccinated people can make their choice. I said this as I was putting my mask on, clearly complying regardless of opinion. The sales associate then jumped down my throat about masks and was completely rude. Then in the middle of her own sentence (as I was just standing there silent) she walks away completely dismissive. Please hire customer service positive customer service individuals! read more

Show Pony is so fabulous! The store is divided into upstairs and downstairs. The downstairs features new clothing, shoes, and accessories - lots of wallets and Toms Shoes for you. There's some funky jewelry here as well. The upstairs has consignment pieces and this is a gold mine for anyone that likes labels and/or really great deals. There are a ton of boots here, and a few designer purses here (Kate Spade, etc.) There was a pretty large sale wall with discounted tops and pants. Non-label stuff, expect to pay around $20-$40 for items. I saw a cute red pair of Giuseppe Zannoti heels for like $40 (get real) but my feet are really picky about heels... There was a section of upscale labels -- this surprised me because I saw stuff like Burberry, Prada (NEW with tags), Miu Miu, Costume National, 3.1 Phillip Lim -- coming from the NYC area, I see these all the time but in Seattle I don't see these labels too much in consignment stores. These were still on the pricey side (anywhere from $40-$300 or so), but all a fraction of the retail price. I got this cute ruffly Reiss (UK label) top for $39. Downstairs they also feature cute cosmetic cases and coin cases from Emilie Sloan, a Seattle designer, so I picked one up ($16) for my sister. Customer service is also good here too. I stopped in here after buying another piece of Kimberly Baker jewelry - because it's conveniently located right next door! It's owned by Julie Merriman, who previously had Olivine in Ballard. This place is super-cute and girly inside, and has tons of great accessories and fun home stuff with a great range of prices. I picked up a chunky button ring for $5 (jewelry seemed to be anywhere from $5-$100), and a great bud vase with hammered silver on the bottom for only $15! She had some amazing hats for around $35-$48, and some great purses and bags in all sorts of prices ($12-$75). Plus, very pretty smelling perfumes, and shoes, and cards - you name it! There was also a small rack of hoodies and tees near the front that looked comfy and stylish. I will definitely be back here to check her new stock frequently - and I am marking it down as a great place to get a gift. Hooray for another reasonably priced store in Fremont!!!! This store is totally unrated from the outside! After reading the Yelp reviews I decided to stop by. The store is so cute!!! And Jane is a seriously awesome person to have working there. She is attentive, helpful and nice to chat with. Basically she has the customer satisfaction thing down! I bought my friend a cute bottle of sea salt and she wrapped it really nice. Also, I totally scored in their consignment area upstairs. I found a beautiful leather purse with hot pink stitching that matches my custom made boots to the tee. It was like finding Romeo for Juliet. Apparently they are closing the consignment section of the store. But there are so many other cute things to shop for that you'll be happy to stop by. read more

Such a cute spot! They have a very stylish selection of clothing, jewelry, and accessories ranging from about $25-150 on average. The sales racks have some great items, but the discounts aren't super steep. The staff person working while I was there was super friendly and helped me to find the items I liked in my sizes - also super patient as I hemmed and hawed about which items to get! Clothing style is sort of...fun/modern/hipster with a splash of Zoe Dechanel if you factor in the fun prints and ultra cute dresses on the second floor. Eclectic mix of vintage clothing and accessories! Show Pony is full of local designers - something which I highly support - creative little nick knacks and jewlery is what really catches the eye! A full counter of handmade pieces that remind me of a indie version of Betsey Johnson. Can't say much for the newer apparel, some of its really cute - but not worth the price. Props for the creative use of tags: made use from old playing cards! They do buy vintage, which can be found all upstairs, some newish, a few older decades. Prices I've found to be very reasonable girls! If anything this has going for it, its defiantly in the accessories department and worth to check out! read more

I usually don't find anything at boutique clothing stores. It's either five copies of five different shirts, or the cashier watches you like a turkey vulture, or the markup is ridiculous. Show Pony was surprising. They fit a lot of attractive, not entirely Juniors style clothing into one small store. I love the vintage stuff in the loft, and I especially love the accessories. Show Pony is a super cute 'lil boutique that has been around forever. I finally stopped in with a friend who went in to redeem some of her rebate dollars that they give when you consign. The clothes are cute, but, wowza they are pricey. I appreciate the art of a trendy screen printed zip up hoodie of great quality, but I just can't justify $250 for it. Sorry, show pony. The girls working were nice but aloof. The upstairs is consigned clothing that doesn't come with much less of a price tag - especially for being used. The used clothing is of nice quality, but, again $100 for a sweater is not something I'm interested in. I'll go get one for the same price or slightly more brand new at the department store. Surprise! We're expensive! Rent must be steep if they're charging $45 for a used Missoni for Target top. Basic, CONSIGNED jeans are racked up to $74. I just don't understand that. I work just a block from Show Pony, and it takes a LOT of willpower not to come in every day just to see what's new. Come here for really cute (and generally affordable) clothing basics, an impeccably curated consignment section, and adorable accessories. I come here whenever I'm looking for a local gift for friends in other parts of the world. The owner is very helpful and has great gift ideas, especially for $50 and under. I bought a scarf here by local designer Tuesday that I wear almost every day. They also stock Laarni & Tita, another local gal who makes really, really cute bags and clutches, often with imported Japanese fabric! Absolutely a must-see in Fremont. I am all about unique jewelry pieces. They have pieces that are affordable for gifts and ones you will fall in love with and want all for yourself! So the way my day was going, I already wanted to up and move to Fremont [hello, cute Dr. Suess-esque neighborhood!], and Show Pony only fueled the fire. However if I did live close enough, I quite possibly would have been compelled to drop to my knees and beg for a job there, so perhaps I was saved some embarrassment. I love when you can walk into a store and immediately feel at home. The woman working the register said hello, but she wasn't pushy with talking, which I like. I found an amazingly soft Alternative Earth baseball tee on sale for like $18. Once I had browsed the entire bottom floor, she informed me that there was vintage upstairs. I'm not sure if I squealed or not, but I sure booked it up there. Everything up there is fabulous, I found myself contemplating even the most ridiculous pieces. Old school coats, jackets, jeans, floaty top, you name it. And the most insane collection of cowboy boots I've ever seen [unfortunately not a jackpot unless you're a 6 to 7, as they're all originally the owners]. Well, I only ended up buying the tee, but they can't help the fact that my butt is too large to get zipped into their old-fashioned Chinese skirts. Overall it was a great experience, and the woman even ended up giving me some great tips on where to go for more shopping joy in Fremont. I'll definitely be making it back there again. read more

I was really impressed with the consignment selection at Show Pony, though I thought the prices for tops and shoes were rather steep. Their designer jean section is reasonably priced, considering the brands and quality. But I felt that blouses and heels were priced far too high for consignment pieces. You can tell they are rather picky about the clothes they'll accept because most of them were in very good shape, if you're willing to pay what you would for a new version of it. Many of the brands were J. Crew, LOFT, Urban Outfitter brands, 7s for All Mankind, Gap, Banana Republic, etc. I liked the store and selection, but when I'm shopping for consignment pieces from the same stores I regularly shop, I expect to get a better deal than what Show Pony offers. read more

We all wanted a pony when we were little girls, didn't we? So pretty, lovable, special and unique. Well - wish no more, there is something that encompasses all of those things minus the cleanup. Show Pony is my new favorite fashion stop in town. Having explored Fremont a great deal, I don't know how I missed this one, but I'll make up for time lost, I assure you. The main floor is stocked with new pieces that are perfectly like-able, but the true find is the consignment floor upstairs. This is no Buffalo Exchange or hand-me-down resale shop - no no no. The buyer at Show Pony knows their stuff. Shoes, accessories and clothes with labels that are almost entirely designer names. I scored a Bench. jacket and a Humanoid top at killer prices. Barney's lines at Gap prices. Apparently a woman brought in a trunk load of pieces from NY boutiques just the day before. I told them to CALL ME the next time she purges her closet. I'm still dreaming about the purple cowgirl boots I walked around the store in too... and the pastel pink faux fur shawl... and the little black dress that would go great with my new pearls... Everything about Show Pony is really, really quaint and the store's selection is well-edited and super cute. If Lola Pop across the street is for the snooty, Europhile who has loads of money to spend, then Show Pony is for the Seattle girl who wants to look effortlessly chic. While the selection is small, the owner makes a great effort to not only have a wide variety of items in the store (i.e.: not just new and consignment clothing, but also shoes, jewelry, accessories, and knickknacks) at a wide range of price points. The consignment stuff upstairs rocks (L.A.M.B. shoes, pretty dresses, Ferragamo flats, etc.) and is always always always in great condition and I feel like I'd come here a lot often to check up on the new stock to see if I run into a one-of-a-kind find but the owner--who's there everyday--also seems a bit overeager at times, which makes me uncomfortable. She offers great customer service and she's super nice and I totally understand how hard it is to make it as a small boutique (and especially in an out-of-the-way neighborhood like Fremont) but , nevertheless, I feel like she's trying to kill me with kindness sometimes. read more

Quaint little store in Fremont! I have only ever been successful finding something in the upstairs consignment section. Prices are steeper than in other consignment stores I shop at but the selection is perhaps better filtered i.e. higher end brands and quality. The only downfall is that the items are sorted by color, not by size. I first heard about this place since the owner has a popular etsy shop (Lulu Beauty). I must admit, this is one of my favorite boutiques in Seattle. I love to look at the accessories and they have some awesome candles and perfumes. The staff is super sweet. This is a wonderful place to find a gift. I came in here looking for a bridesmaid dress, for an informal wedding. I could wear pretty much whatever I wanted ("something summery" was the only requirement) but was having trouble finding the right dress. The owner, Stephanie Hara, guided me to a purple dress that I probably wouldn't have looked twice at on the rack. I tried it on and it was perfect! A really low-key, elegant and comfortable dress. Snobby. I discovered this boutique by chance, didn't realize it was in the Fremont neighborhood. When I came through the door the owner said "Are you shopping for something today?" I explained I'd just been working on a project (it was Saturday morning) and had breakfast nearby - and I was stopping in to look. She then said "How did you hear about the store?" I explained that I just noticed it, having not realized it was there to which she replied "...that's okay." (As if it was wrong for someone not to have seen or heard of it before?) ... in any event, a few minutes later I asked about a faux deerhead with antlers, there were two hanging on the wall - to see if they were for sale. She looked at me, hesitated, and said "They are. ..... " and then after another pause, "but they're THREE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS." (Enunciating the price slowly, as if I was unable to comprehend.) Did she think they were cost prohibitive for me? It reminded me of the scene in Pretty Woman when they didn't take Julia Roberts seriously. It probably isn't a story that translates well in type, but the feeling was "Oh, they ARE - but you couldn't afford one." Little did she know that I'm a web professional that does consulting, and has plenty of money to purchase items I like. (and will be opening a retail space of my own in the coming year) I couldn't quite understand it - thought I looked pretty good other than the fact I had some work boots and layers on since I'd just gotten back from an industrial estate sale. (Which was fab, by the way.) I didn't like the store inventory - nothing compelled me to look further and the clerk/owner was so abrasive I couldn't really get past the interaction with her - it kind of ruined the whole experience. I feel bad for local Seattle companies and designers that have their stuff in the shop, if that's a standard way to greet people - they may not see big return from that store. Icky energy. read more
