My third time here and I'm so impressed with the quality of their work and patience. I thought I had been getting bio gel done this whole time at the other salon I went too, little did I know it was acrylic and it was damaging my nails (not to mention making them yellow). I spotted Show nails salon on the way home, and decided to peep in after realising my nails really did need some TLC. Half heartedly expecting to walk the other way after noticing the prices, I was shocked at the $40 Mani pedi which I just could not say no to. The salon was almost at full capacity despite being there on the middle of a Monday. I was greeted immediately and after spending a good 5 minutes picking my nail colour from the absolute HUGE variety , I finally had an opportunity to give myself some me time. The pedicure was great, a lovely massage chair and friendly service. Whilst a little too gentle for my liking , I couldn't complain and found myself really enjoying my time there. After being helped into some slippers, I got taken to do my manicure while my toes dried. The manicure wasn't the best I've had, but it did the job and for the price I couldn't complain. Worst shellac manicure ever. Charged me $60 for ombre color that they don't even know how to do. Sara did not know how to do this type of color brushing before and made my nail bed bleed. Did a horrible job of my cuticle and color spray was all over my skin and cuticle. Informed color has spilled over my cuticle Sara informed me you can just wash it off when u go home. Color was nothing like the picture I have shown her. Staff had no idea how this technique works and none of them can get spraying right. When I paid cash Sara short changed me WTF!! My cuticle still hurt from bleeding and ombre color not right, cuticle bleeding, color spray all over cuticle, short changed me, no manicure service provided, worst worst worst service techniques ever. Needed a fill and one nail repair had to ask them to use a clean nail file. I don't care how good a place is supposed to be, if you scrimp on cleanliness to save a buck i won't be back. As soon as the manicurist stuck the replacement tip on my nail I noticed it was severely crooked. Extreme - crossing into the nail next to it. I had to ask several times for her to redo it, at which point I removed the tip and suggested that maybe I'd skip it. My impression of the finished job? They look like chunky chicklets. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Worst shellac manicure of my life. Nail technician had NOOO idea what she was doing. Put at least 5 coats of base on so it's super bumpy and uneven. The nail design I wanted she put on upside down. When I told her this several times, she pretended she didn't know what I was talking about. The nail design is also off centre. She consulted 3 of her colleagues on how to do a simple chrome manicure. She left polish on all over my fingers, and even the shape is a total mess. When I asked to speak privately to the manager, she said I could talk to here there in the open. Super uncomfortable since I hate confrontation. They gave me 15$ off for the chrome. I told her it was the worst manicure of my life- and then she blamed her colleague for not knowing English well (wtf). My bill for shellac manicure and pedicure was almost $70 with tax. And it looks like an 8 year old did it. I never get my nails done, this was a nice treat to myself and I'm really unhappy. Also took over an hr and half! Edit in response to Rain: Honestly, your response just demonstrates how unprofessional and a lack of customer service. This isn't about Grace's time. This is about my time. This is about the fact that it took over 2.5 hrs to have this exchange. You can look at the pictures, especially the thumbs. You tell me she did a good job?!? I went to a nail salon immediately after to "fix" it. They laughed at how bad of a job it was. They were speechless that it took so long. I said no to Grace for redoing it cause she couldn't get it right the first time. Why would I trust her to do it over??? And waste more time there? I don't think so. Ok. I've left a review of this place before. I had to go back several times to get my pedicure fixed. Decided to give them another try! Went in today for mani shellac and reg pedi I asked her for two coats only because when they 3 for shellac it's too thick and it comes off in like a week. She's like no we do 3. I said no please just do 2. So she put an insanely thick layer of the top coat. It's like thick and yellow on some nails. Not cute! I told her I wasn't happy and she just pretended to not know what I was saying. On top of that I had to go back already to fix my pedicure because it smeared one second after I walked out the door. Done with this place. Not worth $65! read more

Very unprofessional, horrible service. Very unsanitary tools: I would not suggest going to this place at all. The worst. A good salon uses pre wrapped and pre sanitized tools prior to using them on clients. This place simply dips them in water and uses them on clients. Would not suggest this place. Was looking for a nice and clean pedicure place along queen and found this place! Initially, I had just wanted to do a pedicure, but seeing as it was only 35 for a mani/pedi (10% off if you pay by cash), I decided to do both! Pedicure was great - she had great attention to detail and really tried to try rid of all my cuticles. The manicure was also good, she also was diligent in filing and cleaning my nails, however the nail polish application could have been better. I saw little bubbles in my manicure after I checked it. I come here every month for shellac manicures, the staff is very nice and professional, the space is clean, and I've never had an issue with my nails chipping. The last time I was in, there were two incredibly rude women arguing with the technicians about pretty much everything, and all the staff were very calm and nice about it. read more

I've been coming to show nails every 2 weeks for the past 2 years. It instantly became my to go nail salon after first visit. The staff are friendly, their work is fast and efficient, yet detailed! I've never knew the wonders of shellac before visiting this. My shellac was only able to last for around 1 week at other places, I just thought that maybe I'm not the right candidate for shellac, but after visiting this place the polish is able to last at least 2 weeks! I had the worst mani and pedicure. The shellac starting peeling after 6 days. My friends talked me into going back to get them to fix and do it over. The women was so unpleasant and pulled the shellac off and ripped my nail in the process. She filled with a corse nail file which left my nails rough, she then proceeded to put nail polish on top which you could see bumps under the nail polish. I said something because it wasn't right. I literally got Yelp just go review and hopefully warn people that choose to go here. My roommate told me this place ruined her nails with their shellac and I didn't believe it so I went. On the phone they told my friend it would be 15 for her shellac polish change but when she went to pay they wouldn't budge from 30. I've been getting shellac for years now but I've never seen anyone remove it sooo aggressively, they literally scraped my nails with metal tools until they were textured and weak.. I went for a shellac polish change and they wouldn't stop telling me that I should just do a manicure which I've said no 3 times. The cherry on top was THEY TOLD ME ITS 3 DOLLARS to cut my nails...
