So this is my first time at this now Salon I called ahead of time to see if they were taking walk-in and I was lucky enough but they were so it took me at least eight minutes to get to their location from where I originally was and I have to say the place is super clean the people that work there are extremely friendly and they were quick to like pay attention to you they were quick and making sure that you were seated you get to choose your colour while you waited if you had to wait I had a gentleman that was doing my nails I came in there with home manicure with dip powder and I will honestly say that he did an amazing job I did request for the coffin shape nails and I paid 79 bucks and I tipped the gentleman that did my nails $10 because honestly all the hard work that I saw he did just taking off my old manicure and the final product that he did on my hands was just spectacular. I would definitely be going back there when I need to get my manicure again they even gave me tips on if I was to do my own manicure at home it should be done a certain way so that it's not too difficult to take off but after my experience with them I can say that for sure 100% I will be back there so friendly like I said they are very welcoming and that place is just clean they clean everything throughout the process so I am very happy I am very satisfied with the service with the people that work there and I would highly recommend it to anyone and they also have I like kids packages for like those kids that will go with their mom to do their manicure so I think it's really worth it I hope this review helps other people and wanting to check it out and give them some business cuz they are to me more than a five star read more

Visited this place August 10th, 2021. Was told to sit after my temperature was taken from my right arm . The nail technician who took my temperature muttered something about me in their own language about me and laughed . Feeling humiliated, when I asked east the issue was neither of the technicians could answer me. They were racist and rude towards me . Will keep sharing my experience to people I know. First time going to Scarlet and actually getting an manicure. This place was so accommodating and took me in as a walk-in. The place is very clean, spacious and is in a great location too. They attended to me as soon as I walked in and had a ton of selection for nail polishes. Josie did my nails and checked with me on the shape of my nails before continuing with both hands. She took her time and made sure all the coats dried. Only gripe is I feel I needed another coat of shellac since you can still see the white of my nail in certain lights. I should've examined my nails before leaving which is what I would recommend. Otherwise, Josie was very gentle and did an oil massage too. I love this place! I stumbled across this new salon on yelp and I went in and got shellac polish (no manicure, just colour). It's a beautifully furnished place in a new plaza and it's not too busy. The ladies there are so nice and they really took their time. They were very professional and knew what they were doing. The appointment took around 40 minutes (without a manicure) and was a total of $20. I will definitely be going back! read more

The people were really nice, but unfortunately, the services I received were not up to standard. I got a regular manicure and pedicure. For the pedicure, the lady used the mental thing to take dead skin off my foot. My feet are not that rough, and no one has ever used this on me before. My feet were actually left feeling more rough as a result. For the manicure, the lady did a thorough job removing cuticles, but it was to the point of cutting me, which also is an experience I have not encountered before. She barely filed my nails although I told her that I wanted the shapes to be even (I had some nails that needed a bit of work to match the rest, but she didn't really do much to them). The nail polish application was subpar. I honestly do a better job myself. There is polish on my cuticles and I have lots of dents in my nails. It doesn't even look like I got my nails professionally done. I also got my arms waxed, and again, while the lady was very nice, I'm wondering who taught her how to wax. I have been waxing since I was 11 or 12 years old, and I have not experienced such incomplete pulls. I have bruises on my arms as a result of violent pulls, and I'm just crossing my fingers that I don't get ingrowns. I would like to come here again because the employees were so kind and nice, but I am picky about my nails and I will likely be redoing them myself later on this weekend. read more

Went to this salon last Sunday at 3 pm (they close at 5 pm) without an appointment. The gentleman who answered my inquiry over phone was really nice. When my daughter and I got there, staff was nice and friendly. Our manicures were amazing, price was good! $20 for regular manicure. This is the only salon where whole staff was professional and friendly. We will definitely go back. Went here based on Yelp reviews and couldnt have been more satisfied! Tina did my nails and shes great! Place was clean, been open over 2 years, no funky smell. Everyone needs to check this place out read more

I am furious with this place!!! They lie to their customers...asked for gel, charged for gel and received lies and acrylics. I had my doubts as it was applied...even questioned the technician but gave her the benefit that perhaps it was a new system. Liars!!!!! Fraud!!!!! Liars!!!! I've been there a few times for Mani's and Pedi's but the most recent time I went I had a very bad customer service experience. Not only did the girl doing my nails leave after I was under the dryer. I also couldn't get anyone to check to see if my nails were dry. After the girl did my manicure my hands were dry she didn't even lotion them ( she just got up and left). The owner seen that I was upset and as I was walking out none of the staff cared enough to say 'Thank you' ' Have a nice day', nothing. They didn't offer to help get my shoes as my hands were still kind of wet. It's very disappointing that I was a return client and was treated this way. Not only will I never visit this nail shop again, I will never recommend anyone to go there! read more

They couldn't accommodate my appointment time because they overbooked and had no record of my appointment time. Disappointing. read more

I made an appointment at Scarlet Nails for a full set of Acrylic nails and Andy was my nail tech. He did a great job; was quick and efficient at getting me out in just under an hour. I asked for coffin shaped acrylics and I was overall happy with what I got. Their website indicates that a full set of acrylics is $30 and I also confirmed that information when I called and booked my appointment. When I went to pay my total was just over $50 so I asked why it was so high compared to what I was told over the phone and what their website reads. I was told that coffin shape is extra and so is the extra long length that I wanted. I typically get my coffin shaped nails much longer than what you see in the pictures below. In fact, the length that you see is actually very short for me and from what I see of other salon goers, a fairly moderate length. That's why I only gave this salon 3 stars; they need to either put this information on their website, or tell you up front when you request coffin shape and your requested length. So while my overall experience was a positive one, not sure if I will go back since most other salons do not charge extra for those two items. read more

i chose this salon of all salons in the GTA to have my bridal nails and bridesmaids nails done. from the moment we arrived to our appointment we were rushed, told that thwre was an appointment after us and that we had to "go, go, go". when the bride was getting her nails done, her one and only request was to have an almond shape on her acrylic nails and the lady doing her nails said that this would be an additional cost, which later the owner admitted this was not the case. the service was extremely unprofessional, the ladies were rude and disrespectful and the quality of the nails is well below par. for example, the shellac acrylicnail are thick and have chipped 48 hours later. upon calling back to ask about the possibility of this getting fixed, the lady said "no time no time" and did not accommodate me. never come here especially w a large party for a very special event. read more
