I'm so glad there is finally a good and affordable threading place in the area!…read more I come in regularly for eyebrow threading. She takes appointments in advance, which is unlike most other eyebrow places. She will also take me last minute if I call ahead, and will tell me if she's busy and cannot see me. Where as, most other places will just tell you to come in regardless of how long of a wait there is and you end up waiting so long to be seen. Very satisfied with her eyebrow threading. Quick and not very painful. Cannot comment on other services as I only come in for brows.

I had never gotten a Brazilian wax before, nor sugaring of any kind. I was convinced to try it…read moreafter reading and hearing the pros of sugaring. I stumbled upon Sugar Me Spa on Google and read some mixed reviews, but decided to give this place a try anyways. I booked my first Brazilian sugar appointment through their online booking service in April 2019 at the RH location. Jasmyne was my aesthetician, she made me feel comfortable and walked me through the process of my service. I left not knowing what the results should look and feel like, but now that I've gotten a bunch of Brazilian sugars done (with another business), I can confirm that my experience with Sugar Me Spa was not great. I still had a lot of hair that hadn't been "pulled" out by the sugar, but I thought that's how Brazilian waxes were as it was my first time receiving one. It looked like I had shaved quickly and didn't bother to go over a second time to get all the remaining hairs. It didn't bother me as I trusted the process and was planning to book with Sugar Me Spa again once time came. Their online booking was extremely inaccurate in regards to the times and/or dates available for services. I booked my second appointment, only to be texted that the establishment was closed during the time slot I had chosen and I had reschedule. I wasn't able to reschedule, so I cancelled it instead. I booked another appointment 1 month later (with Jasmyne as I already dealt with her my first time around), through the same online system. I received another text a week before my appointment stating Jasmyne was not working during the date and time I had chosen. I was offered different dates and times to reschedule, however, time was too tight to reschedule. I asked if another aesthetician could provide the service, to no avail. I rescheduled my appointment 1 month later (with Jasmyne) in August 2019, only to be texted that Jasmyne couldn't make it to work and was asked to reschedule again... Overall, over a span of 4 months, I went once with mediocre results. Their appointment booking service is extremely hectic and inconsistent.

Before moving to Canada I was always waxed. It's hard to find a place that gives a "painless"…read moreBrazilian. Jasmine took the upmost care in what she was doing and my service lasted at most 10 minutes. The results are amazing...much better than waxing. The place is very clean, bright and inviting. I highly recommend Sugar Me Spa. The only reasons I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the inability to pay with card and that it took a bit to find as it is inside the natural health storefront while I was looking for signage for Sugar Me Spa.

Jennifer who owns this spa is super kind, caring and will go out of her way if you have questions…read moreor concerns. I've been going to her for braizilians for years because of the reasonable cost and her thoroughness. I can't recommend her enough. I discovered her from Groupon for laser hair removal and glad I did. I don't like laser as my skin is super sensitive, but with a few more sessions left I didn't want it to go to waste. During the sessions, she is patient and will adjust the intensity accordingly, always checking to make sure the skin is okay even if I'm feeling it more personally. While we were chatting, she mentioned the Brazilian promo and ever since then, I haven't gone anywhere else. Her spa is small and clean. Going to a clean spa is so important to me. A cheap Brazilian is great, but not if I can contract something from someone else. Her weekday promos are quite reasonable and worth the feew extra dollars. I've only gone by appointment and highly recommend making an appointment if you can so you don't get turned away if she's with a client.

It was very calming which is surprising given getting a wax. Music was soothing and not too loud. I got my full legs, Brazilian, under arms waxed. It felt more like a skin treatment than a wax session. I highly recommend Skin City Spa to anyone looking to get waxed as a beginner and a regular waxer. Easy to book, got reminder notifications to my email and texts. Everything is stress free and feels like a staycation. When you walk in to the wax room you get a waft of aromatherapy. It was already a little pricier before and the price just increased. Although it is a lot nicer with a tv and special wipes, what your paying for is the experience there. This place is more affordable and they have special prices where you pre pay for 6 waxes and get the 7th for free. They also gave me a 15% discount if I go back for a wax within about a month. The estatician was knowledgable and was very thorough with everything and used a plucker to pluck any strays that didnt get pulled out. They use hard and soft waxes depending on the area waxed. Hard waxes are better for sensitive areas I was told. The rooms were small and plain but I was fine with that. I plan to come back again and use that 15% discount.

She was very approachable, so thorough, and totally skilled at her craft. I went for a modest wax and was impressed by the professional, no-nonsense feel at the salon. Prices are a bit higher than most of the competitors, but they have discount codes available online ("classically" until April 2016) for first time visitors and the option of a 20% off membership deal. The wax itself wasn't too hot and the whole thing took around 20 minutes. She used multiple types of wax depending on hair thickness and length. I'm also very impressed by their product selection. There's nothing like some taboo-free feminine hygiene brands that make cleansing products so fun. I got two sets of cleansers, body wipes and moisturizers from the cheeky brand "I Love My Muff" and a sugar scrub and body lotion from the Toronto-based brand Love Fresh. I am already obsessed with the fresh pear scent - I have to stop myself from eating them. Can't wait to go back to Smooth! I'd highly recommend.

I had a brazilian done and did not notice until I got home and took a shower that the wax lady Robyn left clumps and clumps of wax on me and did not even clean after she was done. It was very difficult to take off. Not only that she did a lousy job with waxing, she left me with patches of hair that I had to remove myself. Not worth the price and the supposedly quality that they are advertising. I am very disappointed and very upset with how bad the quality of service has become at this place. Disgrace!
