What an awesome day I had at this spa. I purchased a Groupon for a 45 minute Himalayan Salt Cave with a detoxifying beer bubble bath. I had a private room with deep wooden tub to soak in for 25 minutes. They provided a cold face cloth, ice lemon water and hot tea to sip on. The rep knocked on my door to alert me to get ready for the salt cave. I took a quick shower to rinse off (towels provided) and got dressed. I put on slippers (they provide) and grabbed a blanket and headed into the healing salt cave that was 65 degrees. I relaxed in the zero gravity chair/recliner, wrapped in the blanket, listened to relaxing music and the sound of water. What a great experience this was. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I visited Grand Wellness Centre today and had a fabulous experience with Samantha, the RMT. I have been struggling with sciatic pain down my leg for a few weeks now and spoke to her about this. Samantha got to work, applying amazing pressure (as requested) and hitting all the spots to help alleviate my pain. She dug right in and even helped stretch the muscles in comforting, therapeutic ways. She was very professional and just the right amount of 'chatty'. Best massage in a long time. We went to Grand Wellness for some much needed R&R. We had a 30 minute couples massage, and the masseuses were very professional and did a great job. We followed this with 45 minutes in the salt caves and a foot detox. All staff members were very friendly and welcoming to us. The facility was very clean and we loved the exposed brick walls and salt lamps that lined the walls. We even enjoyed a tea during the foot detox. We will defInitely go back! read more

I was in need of a massage and they were accommodating to take me in the same day. The place is a bit hidden. The signage blends into the surrounding, so if I didn't have the address, I would have driven right past it. I appreciated that they didn't have a male RMT there. The massage was good, but there is only so much one can do in a 30 minute session. The parking is alright given that it is on Brant Ave, and most of the parking is rather limited. The decor was nice with a homey feel to it. The staff were knowledgeable, but were a little condescending when she had found out that I had been to a more upscale place in Toronto. The RMT was able to take the knots out, so I was happy with that. But I think I would need further treatments. The other staff were gossiping in the other room but close enough for earshot, which to me did not show professionalism. Price was competitive with other salons within Brantford. NB. They have relocated to 202 Grand River Avenue. They are no longer on Brant Avenue. read more
