Considering the spa motto ...Let us guide you through total relaxation, restoration, rejuvenation, and renewal... it was very disappointing to be treated like a nuisance person who was taking their time. My Lux pedicure was less than lux. The leg/feet massage almost not perform, light few touches to tick the box on the list that it was done. My heals were not scrubbed, there was no base coat under my clear nail polish, so it started to peel off next day. The person performing pedicure was cold, unpersonal and not accommodating. I asked to make sure that my toe nails are very short ... I was advised in the abrupt way..."they are short enough, there is nothing to be done to them". Over all it was not relaxing time due to the tension the practitioner created by her behavior and demeanor. read more

My experience at Scape Spa was nothing short of awesome. From the moment I stepped into the spa I was delighted. The welcoming front desk staff to the spa aroma made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Atmosphere is cozy and welcoming made me want to never leave. The treatments I had were wonderful and all the therapist were so kind and thoughtful. Definitely will be coming back. If anyone is looking for a nice spa to go to, I would NOT suggest Scape Spa in Mount Pleasant. After having my cell phone put through their washing machine and waiting almost an entire week for the owner to return my call... I have just be informed that there's nothing that will be done. I was told that they take no ownership for the destruction of personal belongings. If something is destroyed by their hand, on their property, it is your responsibility (even in their lockers [which have keys assigned to them], locker rooms and probably parking lot)... Although none of their policies are listed on their website or in their spa, it is 'common knowledge' that leaving your things in their facility does not ensure the safety of them. For such a wealthy company, I find this all incredibly shameful. I trusted that my personal belongings would be safe whilst I had my treatments done, apparently I was gravely mistaken. The conversation I had with the owner was the farthest thing from customer service I have ever experienced, it was an attack filled with insult and threat... So spread the news, let all your friends and family know so that they don't run the risk of losing valuable personal belongings as well! read more
