After a number of written letters back and forth with the CEO/Director (Andrea), which at times were acrmonious, I believe a mutual respect was established. I found her to remain loyal to her staff while trying to satisfy the client. You can definitely go the way of "quiet relaxation" or "chatty bursts" during your massage, and they're good with either, readily adapting to your massage style. They'll also completely tailor your massage to what you're saying, but treat it holistically (eg. My neck was Death for a week before I wandered in; they worked not just my neck, but the rest of the interconnected muscles that were contributing to the stiff neck - all the way down to my lower back). Shawna is my go-to (she has amazing pressure, and enough strength to tackle even my knotted back muscles), but you're always free to go to other therapists if your usual isn't available for the day you need. I've also seen Dara, Rachel, and Kristen - all lovely ladies as well. The online booking system is super convenient as well, and you can book up to the day beforehand online. They also do direct billing for your coverage, which is lovely. Highly, highly recommend.

Sadly, in hindsight I don't think my massage therapist realized this was a prenatal massage because there were no extra pillows or cushions to accommodate me. Next in review of my problem areas, I mentioned where I was experiencing the most pain and that was definitely an area where we spent the least amount of time. And then feet were completely forgotten. I am osteopathically trained and very aware that one treatment cannot fix everything but I am also aware that you then set up a treatment plan and manage the expectations of your client. To be honest, I don't expect this place to reach out to me to address my concerns or try to make it right. Maybe if I were white there would be more attempts to maintain my satisfaction.
