I won't be coming back here and wish I could get a refund for my time. I am very familiar with massages and recently moved to the area so I wanted to try one in the neighbourhood. Sadly, in hindsight I don't think my massage therapist realized this was a prenatal massage because there were no extra pillows or cushions to accommodate me. Next in review of my problem areas, I mentioned where I was experiencing the most pain and that was definitely an area where we spent the least amount of time. And then feet were completely forgotten. I am osteopathically trained and very aware that one treatment cannot fix everything but I am also aware that you then set up a treatment plan and manage the expectations of your client. To be honest, I don't expect this place to reach out to me to address my concerns or try to make it right. Maybe if I were white there would be more attempts to maintain my satisfaction. read more

Good Concept. Decent massage. But I am not happy with their business approach. I ended up with 4 credits over the course of 2 years and was told I had to come in for extra massages during the month I couldn't just use the credits. I had to quit the membership to use the credits. The credits are dollar value and not service value so with the price difference over 2 years and member and non member price I paid for 4 massages but only received 2. I'll go else wear. I would rather pay a little more for the service I receive than throw money away. read more

i have lost my trust in yelp, keeps on deleting true reviews bcuz businesses pay ads to yelp and would quit advertising here if the negative reviews were displayed. i hate this site as for massage addict i wanted to go to their acupuncturist chinese woman she was rude so i won't go... we have had 2 sessions with this company for the full price plus tax, and must say it was NOT value for money the therapist did whatever she wanted not listening to our needs, the other one gave useless stretches for 20 mins although she is NOT a qualified physiotherapist therefore it is NOT her role to give you stretch especially when paying the full price for 1 hr massage and u only get 40 mins by the way i have completed the online survey they sent me in email and I gave my 2 cents to them letting them know that it is way not cheap to pay 1 hr while u get 40mins only, i can go anywhere else for the same price , even lower prices... their survey asked so many irrelevant retard questions that's none of their business like how many kids u have r u in a relationship or married, how much u earn where u work, but no questions regarding ur health(e.g if you have curved spine or injury), why don't they focus on the service they sell instead of the hundreds of moron questions that won't improve the service! read more

Overall a good place to go for regulars and there are enough of them out there that it is pretty convenient. I am a regular massage user. Approx 3 times per month. I have switched to massage addict as the price is better and the location is close. THey actually encourage you to use several therapists and I agree with that approach. I now have 3 or 4 that I rotate between and they are all great in different ways. I had an unfortunate incident when I first joined but that was resolved quickly by the receptionist and the Manager. Just a miss in communication. Highly recommend this location. read more

This clinic is absolutely unprofessional. Booked an appointment for Sunday June 2. Got confirmation on Thursday via email. Saturday got a confirmation by phone. Walk in a 10:15 am Sunday June 2 for my appointment and they tell me they were trying to call me yesterday (June 1) to cancel my appointment but I gave them the wrong phone number and email address. Geeze how did they get through to confirm my appointment June 1? They had my proper information. The receptionist basically called me a liar on Sunday morning saying they had no contact information. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL. Stay away from this company. They called today at 2:30 p.m with excuses that they have problems with the RMT staff. Took no responsibility on the part of the receptionist. IGNORANT. I believe the girl down below that wrote the same complaint as me. Stay away. Yup I told them to go f*** themselves. read more

I just joined Massage Addict at the Hamilton Mountain location yesterday. I live in Ancaster so this site is only about 5 minutes from my house, which is very convenient! I was prompted to try Massage Addict because I strained something in my upper back on Saturday and was in agony by Sunday. I was researching massage therapists online Sunday and discovered that I could book online and get an appointment the very next day! I wanted an RMT specifically because I had an injury and wanted treatment vs. pure relaxation, but when I go back next time I'll be asking for a gentle relaxing massage. The therapists are very accommodating so you can get the pressure you want and focus on one area or your whole body or something in between. I had a deep tissue massage with Elaine and it was fantastic! My back is a thousand times better today already. I'm actually surprised because I was in so much pain before I went in and I didn't really think a massage would make that much difference. I love the convenience of booking online and being able to get same day or next day appointments, and I'm looking forward to trying out some of the other RMTs just for fun :) You can't beat the price either. As a member a 1 hour massage by an RMT is only $59. To become a member you need to commit to having one massage a month for 12 months, but you can have as many additional massages as you want for the same price. I'm going to have to hold myself back from getting one every day :) My benefits plan covers massage to a certain cap, so I'm just thrilled to find Massage Addict where I can get more massages covered than I could anywhere else. Love this place and love the concept! read more
