The paved paths make for an easy and accessible walk, suitable for a quick escape or a leisurely stroll. What really stood out to me was how quiet it felt. Even with buildings in the background, the park feels remarkably peaceful. The gentle sound of water, the rustling of leaves, and the overall calm let you forget you're in a busy area. It's a fantastic bubble of serenity. The scenery mixes urban sophistication with natural beauty. Modern buildings create a sleek backdrop for the beautifully designed waterways and landscaped grounds. Even without full bloom, you can see a real commitment to diverse plants here. I can't wait for a return visit in the spring! I can only imagine how bright and colorful it gets when everything is in full bloom. If you want a peaceful place to clear your mind, enjoy some fresh air, and take a nice walk, Centennial Lakes is a must-visit. Whether you have 15 minutes or an hour, it's the perfect spot. I left feeling refreshed and energized. I can't wait to see it come to life in the spring!

It was way fancier than I'd been expecting from just finding it on the map on Google. I read on the historical plaque that it was designed in 1988 to replace some old gravel pit! Considering how gorgeous it is, that was a really good choice. I got the feeling from how many folks were enjoying the grounds that this park is a staple of the area for communal recreation. It is very much built into the cityscape to reside alongside it. You won't be escaping the buildings and roads nearby, but still, it was a nice bit of natural relief. The primary attraction this time of year is the ice skating between three man made lakes and paths between them. Rentals were available at the warming house, which also had a concessions stand (reasonably affordable fare!), restrooms, water fountain, lockers, and ample benches to put on your skates or warm up awhile (with two fireplaces on either end). There were also exterior restrooms for when the building itself isn't open, which are available year round (the outdoor water fountain though was understandably switched off). During other seasons there is apparently golf, fishing, and paddle boat rentals. Cute! Towards the south end sits an amphitheatre. There are various sculptures along the outer path to see as well, including a giant pine cone, crane, a golden retriever ready to shake your hand, and more. Lots of benches and even swinging benches to rest and relax. Plenty of maps at intervals. The park connects to the Edina Promenade pedestrian/bike trail that goes north and east. I think next time I'm in the area, I'll take a stroll down them. In the future I believe there are plans to connect them to other sections. There's plenty of parking to choose from in any of the nearby shopping centers with garages, but I believe there's also parking specific to the park as well.

The space is vibrant, playful, and beautifully designed -- there's something fun to look at around every corner. The staff is consistently warm, welcoming, and all smiles, which makes the experience even better. For drinks, I ordered The Revitalizer, a zero-proof cocktail that basically tastes like a piña colada (my favorite!) -- smooth, sweet, and absolutely perfect. My husband went with the Rock & Rye Old Fashioned, which was light, smooth, and super easy to sip. We kept it simple with the Chips & Dip and House Cut Fries, and both delivered. The guacamole was fresh and flavorful, paired with perfectly toasted, well-seasoned chips. The fries were out of this world -- hot, crispy, and served with a delicious Sriracha ketchup. I also tried the horseradish mustard aioli (not pictured), and it was SO good with the fries. We always have a wonderful time here and keep coming back for the great vibes, tasty bites, and consistently amazing service!

All entrants pay an admission fee (kids under 5 years are free), and all video games, kids rides, and older-style games are free to play. Mini golf and some other activities are Ala carte. There is street parking and an underground parking lot, but, on weekends, parking can be tough to find. There is a cafe to purchase food. Options are flatbreads, baskets, tacos, and more. The food quality is pretty good, but pricey. I get it. The place probably has large overhead costs, so a business needs to make its margins. There is also a beverage wall with various kinds of drinks (mostly-all (?) alcoholic), which are self-pour. I forgot to take photos. Trust me when I say the place is very unique and is great to check out. Pros: - Great place to bring kids - The older-style games are very amusing Cons: - Food is on the pricier side

They even brought out one of my favourite pinball machines as a request. The only thing I could knock a star down for was I paid over $10 for probably the worst milkshake I've ever had. Seriously, the milkshake wasn't much thicker than water. And it was very small. Other than that, I'll just remember not to get the ice cream next time. The best thing about Can-Can Wonderland is the fact that it's a real arcade, not a kiddie ticket casino. And in the evening it becomes a very nice adults only place but still doesn't feel like you're gonna get in a bar fight but you can simply just have a good time..

The vibe is part Northwoods cabin, part whimsical putt-putt wonderland--with twinkle lights overhead, fake pine trees, and just enough obstacles to keep it interesting without causing a tiny human meltdown. The highlight? Watching my kiddo in his sunhat take his "pro swing" with a bright orange putter--while Dad provided a hands-on golf lesson that was equal parts adorable and chaotic. (Note: teaching patience on a par-2 hole is an Olympic-level parenting event.) Course is clean, staff was friendly, and the layout made it easy to play without constantly bumping into other families. Bonus points for the fact that it's indoors--so Minnesota weather can't ruin your plans. Would I recommend? Absolutely. Whether you're chasing hole-in-ones or just trying to get a kid to hit the ball in the general direction of the cup, it's a win for all ages. I'll be back for the driving range later. Try them out!

She was patient and took time to talk about menu recommendations and give time to decide what we wanted. The patio seating was pleasant; only two other tables occupied at that time. Could see people playing bags in the common area, which was fun dinner entertainment. Here's the meal breakdown: - Watermelon Quinoa Salad -- excellent salad! Usually would have passed over the salad but our waitress highly recommended it and I'm glad we ordered it! Hearty salad with quinoa, kale, sunflower seeds, feta cheese. Sweet and juicy watermelon is a perfect compliment! Delicious summer salad! - Burger -- Great smash burger! The burger was covered in gooey cheese and topped with house made pickles. Nice crunch with the softness of the meat, cheese, and buttery bun! - Goat Cheese & Mushroom Pizza was okay. The flavor of the dough was good; it's just that one side was thicker and was not as cooked through as the other side, so it looked and tasted doughy. Although, the more cooked side had a nice herby crust edge and the toppings were excellent together. Overall would rate 4.5. The food is good and will return again with friends to try more! Thank you for a great dinner!

We noticed there were about 3 other tables seated in the entire restaurant, which was a little odd considering the neighboring restaurants were packed. Well, we now know why. I split the Thr3 Jack Burger and Roasted Cauliflower with a co-worker and both were good. One of my co-workers ordered the Smoked Chicken Nachos and they were terrible. The chips were SO greasy, the melted cheese was globbed together, and the chicken didn't taste smokey at all. Also, the waitress was very attentive with water for our group which was great, but went MIA after our food arrived. We had to flag her down to get the bill -- Mind you, the restaurant was not busy. We were there mid-week for a quick-ish lunch and it ended up being about 1.5 hours -- not ideal because we had to get back to work. Also, when it came time for the bill, she didn't bother to ask if we wanted the bill split or have it all on one -- so more wasted time. Overall, the food is very sub-par so it wasn't surprising they weren't busy for lunch. I won't be back for food.

Although the entree was a little pricey my experience was really enjoyable. The mini trampoline park was fun, and it burned lots of calories - lol. My younger brother learned how to do a backflip. At the trampolines there was supervision by workers and other parents. At the arcade there were many few games that I wanted to play, but I am very picky. Laser tag wasn't really that fun, but only because we went against 4 really good guys. I ended up with negative points because of them . Mini golf is a fun family activity to do with your family! There are water hazards and many of the golf balls were the water which I thought was really funny. It's not even that hard to have your ball land in the water! We didn't try the batting cages but it looked super cool. They had bats and helmets already there for the guests. Near the end of our stay at the grand slam we were tired so we ordered 2 large icee's. The icee machine was frozen and couldn't make the icee's. So the workers gave us a free large soda. I wasn't that mad at the situation. Over all I give this experience a 5 star ranking! A wonderful family friendly place to go in your free time!
